I left NYC due to the pandemic but when my puppy brings out this toy its Showtime again (but without the fear of a kick to the face). This is way more fun than a 7 train mariachi band. What a cute and clever toy. I love it and so does my dog.Steven W.

I'm not a big fan of shorts because they move when I'm not… but these shorts are different! The envelope pockets are a big bonus for keeping things IN your pockets while you're in motion, but the fact that they don't take a free ride after each step is the best part! The quad length and compression fit are a match made in heaven, and they fit true to size. I bought these recently as an addition to an existing pair in a different colour purchased about 4 years ago… and it' was totally worth it!Maya

My puppies loved these bones until the day I had to toss them because all the studs were coming off. Something that most new dog owners don't realize is that dog toys are frequently thrown out and replaced because our little ones can really give their toys a good run. I REALLY HAD TO REMEMBER THIS! Why? Because these chew dental bones are easily worn out by their sharp baby teeth. The studs start to break off and get swallowed. Although not big enough to severely choke on for dogs of their size, I still noticed that they choked a few times on the bits that broke off.lok-yee.l

Both of my dogs are large. They like this toy alot but there isn't one big enough for them. The packaging says size large but I don't think that is a fair assessment. If my pups chew it down even a little bit, then I have to throw it away because it becomes a choking hazard. The price is decent and it keeps the dogs busy but becomes unworthy of the money when you have to constantly replace the item. It's a great product. They just need to make an XL or XXL bone for larger dogs.beth marie.b

we have a terrier that loves to chew and has taken apart 2 kongs already. I purchased this when looking for something a little stronger. I've to admit this is a great deal harder then what I expected which made me a little nervous about her teeth. However, I let her use it and it is perfect for her. I would say it is probably meant for a medium size dog over a small. the only thing i don't like about it is the loud plap sound when it falls off the sofa onto the wood floor. we kind of got used to it especially when she is playing with it.potagergirl

My dogs love these wishbones by nylabone. I have purchased them for several years for many of my past dogs as well. I don't know what it is about that shape but they will ignore a different nylabone but chew these vigorously. These bones are clean, not leaving any marks on the carpet. They last a long time–weeks and even months. I usually throw them away when the bones is small enough to fit inside the dog's mouth.While other sites sell these, Dog.com has the best price. These nylabone products are awesome. Our dogs love them. Both are hearty chewers, and it took over a year for the two of them together to wear down the last wishbone we bought.This time around I bought two wishbones, one each for our French bulldog and Australian cattle dog. I ordered a regular size and a "wolf" size. The regular would be much mort suitable for a small dog (Chihuahua, dachsund) but not our beefy bulldog. The wolf version suits her better and is too small for our cattle dog. He likes to grip the toy while chewing and can't do that readily at this size.Fortunately, I also bought him a Nylabone Big Dog Chews, and although it's not as large as I had anticipated (it cost more than double the price of the wolf-size wishbone), he is doing fine and is extremely happy with that toy.Again, Nylabone products are phenomenal, and we'll continue to buy them from Dog.com. I love all the nylabone products and hate, I know it's kind of a harsh word but it's the only one that fits my feeling, rawhide anythings. I had a husky/lab mix several years ago. She was about 10 years old at the time. She was chewing on a large rawhide bone in my mom's room and I was next door in my room. Suddenly, frantically my mom yelled for me to come into her room. I ran in and saw my dog choking. With no thought to the fact that she could have bitten my arm off I immediately opened her mouth and pulled out the rawhide bone she was chewing on (one side got soft so she must have thought she could swallow it without thinking about the rest that wasn't soft which I grabbed on to), pulled it out and threw it right in the garbage. That was about 10 years ago. I basically saved her life that night. I dread the thought of what might have happened if I weren't home that night. She lived another 5 years (until age 15) after that incident which the vet said was phenomenal for as large a dog as she was. Then I found the nylabone products and these are the only items that I feel safe leaving down for my dog or any of my foster dogs when I go to work. I have a variety of shapes and sizes. I even recommend these products to everyone I meet who are considering rawhide. Yes they are more expensive than rawhide but not having to worry about my dog(s) choking to death while I am at work are much more important to me.Dolores1

My GSD didn't like it at first but eventually chewed a bit on the nylabone stick but it made hard sharp teeth marks and she started coughing from the little pieces coming off. Maybe fine if this product is just used to throw and retrieve but I would not recommend it as a chew toy.Simone

I've been buying Nylabones for every single one of my dogs for over a decade now, because they are the only toys that last longer than a week! I have an AmStaff, a Pittie, a Chihuahua, and a Chi-Pin and all 4 of them have the same veracious chewing habits. My small dogs strangely prefer all of the larger Nylabone models meant for bigger dogs over the teeny tiny ones meant for them, lol..don't ask me why, but they do! With daily usage from all 4 of my dogs, they tend to last anywhere from 9-12 months, until the big dogs whittle them down to what I call "shanks" (they tend to get a bit pointy/jagged on whatever end has been chewed on more)..and then once they become too small & unsafe for the big dogs, I just remove them and give them to the little dogs in another part of the house [away from the big dogs], and they continue enjoying these "nubs" for another 9-24 months. That being said, these "nubs" don't get chewed on daily by the small dogs since they prefer the largest/most intact Nylabones in the house lol. I've tried soooo many other brands of toys from multiple pet stores/other big box retail chains over the years, but these are the only consistent and affordable chew toys I've been able to find over the years..not to mention, all of my dogs LOVE them! The only other toy my dogs have not managed to destroy is their original Kongs, but literally, everything else typically gets destroyed within just a few short minutes-just a few days. For those worried about the dogs chewing off little pieces, that's kind of the point of these bones….why do you think most of them are flavored, lol..?? It's made of nontoxic ingredients that are safe and easily digestible, so I wouldn't worry about that. In my 14+ year tenure of owning dogs (esp. ones that are hardcore chewers w/ super strong jaws), NEVER have any of my dogs, no matter their size/breed, ever had any issues w/ digesting these bones..so fear not, fellow canine lovers! 🙂 Highly recommend ANY of the DuraChew Nylabones, esp. for dogs who are super orally fixated/hardcore chewers!!tboytrey

My boy loves this chew toy! I love this chew toy! They last a really long time, (at least for him) and they hold up really well to all of his shenanigans with it. In the 13 years I've had my dog I've only had to buy 3 of these, and one was bought only because he dropped it into a river while on a boat. It goes everywhere with him. I have tried all sorts of Kongs, smaller nylabones, soccer and rubber balls that my two dogs can't even get their mouths around, and they still find a way to destroy their toys. Anyone who has a power chewer knows that some dogs will chew with the front teeth to find a spot to tear open. Though this particular nylabone is large and expensive, it has held up to both my dogs' chewing for three months now. So far, they haven't chewed either end down, though it can get rough on the edges. No toy is permanent, but if you are looking for a toy that will last, this is one. I've seen reviews where people could not get their dogs to bother with this toy and thus rated them low because they spent the money on them. All I can say is that is not the manufacturer's fault. Some dogs just do not like certain chew toys. These nylabones are blocky and heavy and probably not meant for a small dog or one who doesn't like the weight to carry around. The product description states that it has a chicken flavor. One thing I will point out is that if it does, it does not have an odor that I can smell, unlike many other toys that have flavors infused in them. I'm sure that's a tactic to appeal to the dog more but for mine it doesn't make a difference. I'm just glad I can't smell it.' We recently brought home a new puppy that loves to chew on everything. I had bought the smaller bone first and she loves it soo much. But it only lasted just over a week. So this time I bought the big boy. It helps curb her chewing tendencies when I can give her the chew bone. This one will last for a few more weeks. Best toy. And good for her baby teeth’s.CharlyBlue

Our 3 month old puppy definitely loves chewing on this type of nylabone. However, as his owners, we grew very tired of replacing them every 2 days. Within 1-2 days of chewing them our little 10 pound puppy can get chunks off the ends. We won't be buying anymore of them. The first one we bought came in the puppy starter kit. The puppy is supposedly not ready for the white bone in that kit and maybe that is the reason he doesn't like it at all.babsV

Having gotten a chihuahua puppy 4 months ago, I need to have toys around for her to chew on rather than, say, the furniture or my fingers. I bought this toy because it had "teething" in its name and looked like something babies would chew on. Likes: Name brand – Nylabone; it is rubbery and Bella has been chewing on it. Dislikes: it has a "rubbery" smell and I thought it was a bit pricey. All in all I am glad I bought this because it is just the right size for a small breed puppy. Sending this back. Was excited to see my dog play with this. I knew by reading some reviews that I would need to teach her how to drop the balls in the machine. It work great for the first few minutes , then it stopped working. I unplugged it and waited thinking maybe it needed to reset but no. So I waited the next morning, tried it again and it worked but after a few minutes stopped again. So I’m returning it. But hope to find another type maybe just a gravity flow one.edty

I think the our little dog is training my partner. They are both having lots of fun. She is no longer bored and is so much fitter and happier. The deal at the moment is she will drop the ball for him to put in the machine, she wants him involved. The noise build up before firing is so exciting for her and she has it down to the millisecond. I know she will master it as she does sometimes, but it is more about them both playing that she loves the most.archibaldtheyounger

Bought this for my too poodle and he absolutely loves it. Hours of fun and exercise, just drop the ball in the top and it launches it and off he goes. Trying to train him to drop the ball in himself. Use on mains as the batteries don’t last long at all. Great buy, highly recommended. Not the cheapest toy for your dog but well worth it.Grant, Sydney

I have two German Shepards. I bought this for them when they were puppies and they loved it. The biggest problem is as they grew their jaws/teeth are strong enough to bite into the wood pieces. They still love it but I have to intervene more often to keep them from destroying the puzzle more. Because of the chew marks the pieces don’t slide as well now. Overall they love it and haven’t actually destroyed it. Everyone gets excited when I pull it out.Jessica

We have a 12 year old cockapoo who doesn't mind jumping through hoops, literally, to get a treat. We have been teaching him tricks for years, and my wife thought this would be a fun new challenge for him. He was frustrated at first, but after a week, he pretty much had it figured out. He uses his nose to push the disc and his paws to pull them. He seems to enjoy the challenge and works diligently until all hidden treats are uncovered. I would definitely recommend this for a patient dog with decent IQ.Brandon

My golden retriever/lab mix spend 5 wonderful minutes on Christmass day trying to get to the treats. That was good! On day 2 he could not get to the treats fast enout, so he chewed up part of the wood, and I had to throw it away because I was worried he would get splinters in his mouth. This bone SEEMS like other cheap brands we’ve used that eventually are chewed to a sharpened point and thrown out within a few months. However, it has survived nearly 8 months with us. The plastic has bite marks and some signs of damage but otherwise still useable and chewable for the dogs.lindsey.n

My dog is a heavy chewer, so I thought this would provide long lasting entertainment. However, the dog sniffed the Nylabone very briefly and then ignored it completely, despite me offering it several times. In the meantime I have read several horror stories where dogs have ended up in surgery after ingesting fragments of a Nylabone, so I count myself lucky that my dog wasn't interested. My dogs (ages 9, 7 & 3) have been raised on Nylabone DuraChews (the "Souper" size). After my 9-year-old sustained a slab fracture to the fourth premolar while chewing one (the vet later determined the fracture to be the Nylabone "finishing off" an already cracked tooth), I thought maybe it was time to switch to a softer chew. We've always used & love Nylabones, have only ever tried the DuraChews, & have been pleased with how long-lasting they are. My youngest dog regularly chews all of the DuraChews down to points. Upon the recommendation of friends & our vet, we decided to try the FlexiChew. The idea is that the chew should be "soft" enough that a person can make a mark in it with their thumbnail. These fit the bill. I think maybe my 7-year-old, 90lb Rhodesian Ridgeback, NEVER an avid chewer, might even enjoy them more. The girls are ACDs, enjoy chewing routinely & can consume a large elk antler in an hour if allowed. They still go for the Durachew, but are warming up to these.JKMC

I like everything about this Nylabone Moderate Flexchew. It is not real hard and very flexible. I have a Rotweiler/Lab/Boxer mix and he chews on everything except hard bones. He prefers the softer chew bones. When he feels anxious and has nervous energy, he will chew on one of these bones instead of chewing up shoes or anything else he is not supposed to chew on. I will be ordering more of these bones because you cannot find them everywhere.snow6716

Bought this for my puppy as he was chewing everything, because he is teething, I put it in the freezer and give it to him when I see him chewing something he shouldn't be. Trouble is my older dog gets hold of it and he also loves to chew on it, so I have purchased another one for him.Christine

When we first brought home our rescue English Bulldog Stella we brought her to the pet store and let her pick out something just for her. It turns out our 2 Boxers were constantly stealing it from her. It was so tough and durable to her aggressive chewing and doubly impressed it stood up to the Boxers who can destroy almost any toy in minutes. My better half never wanted a Nylabone toy in the house. When we checked out the writing on Stellas we were surprised to see Nylabone printed on it. it's ok , but disagree with it being suitable for extreme chewers – my 5 year old lab chewed big bits off it within a few minutes ! However he loves the different shape of it to play with . So it's ok but doesnt last very long at all. Better for lighter chewers!judches-72
