I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. My dogs love it and don't like to share it but I had a two problems with it. It worked one day then would only "talk" for a second and then stop, I read someone else comment about taking out a battery. I didn't understand that until i opened it up and saw that it had 3 batteries. I did what they did and took out 1 of the 3, now it works great without glitching. The other problem I had with it was that the size i bought for my small dogs have ridges on it and my dogs love to chew on those ridges. they open their mouths wide and check one ridge with their top teeth and another ridge with their bottom teeth and clamp down, which ends up marring all the ridges in between. I'm scared they will break or chip their teeth. I finally took a thick sock and doubled back the sock so it was 2x as thick and put the ball in there. they still try to chew but it's harder to get the ridges and it's also easier for them to pick it up. Hello, my dog does like this; loves it in fact and gets all excited when I get it ready for her before going to work. It is sturdy, well made. The rubber underneath means it grips on a lino floor which is a really good design feature. I do think it's a little pricey – 10 would be reasonable in my view. However for me the problem is it's too easy for my dog. When I first got it, I filled it with treats and gave it to my dog before sitting down to read the instructions. I hadn't even reached the bit that said to' start off with only one hidden treat, and let your dog see it before covering it up' , before my dog had already uncovered and worked out every single hiding place. Penny, our teacup poodle, absolutely loves Zeus. She is so tiny that when she grabs onto Zeus her whole little head and body vibrates. I truly don't know who enjoys Zeus the most – Penny or all of us watching her bark, run after him or grab onto him and shake him with all she's got. Easy to read and use! Just make sure you purchase hydrogen peroxide to keep on hand as it does not come with any. I wrongly though it would come prefilled. It's still a great product and live saver if you need to induce vomiting for your pet. Make sure to closely read the instructions for when and when NOT to induce vomiting! For some chemicals or ingested poisins, vomiting can make it worse causing harm to the esophagus and internal tissues, especially if it's caustic like household chemicals /cleaning products. For those emergencies, an emergency vet must be seen ASAP as they can more safely remove the contents of the stomach. After a costly trip to the vet ER because my small dog snuck yogurt covered raisins off the kitchen table, my home will never be without one of these! It will help buy you valuable time, in certain situations, to get to the vet for treatment. Even certain foods can be harmful to dogs such as grapes or sugarless gum. That is when this product can be life saver! Just make sure you keep your hydrogen peroxide handy and full the syringe to the appropriate weight size. It takes the guessing game out of a very stressful situation! A very small price for a lot of peace of mind!
We purchased 15 kits for our rat catchers, as we can not not risk a dog consuming something along the urban streets where we hunt and dispatch rats. Ironically, the first use of a kit was at someone's home. A dog managed to jump up on a counter and consume 3 ounces of warm bacon grease. The kit worked like a charm. Bought Two of these – One for each grand dog home. Shipped to family member where we have Xmas and “Pup Pup”, the resident parcel inspector and delivery announcer went bonkers when the ball was removed from the shipping box. The ball is very rigid plastic which prevents total instant destruction by the doxie tag team that makes short work of any toy in reach. I would recommend this toy for a smaller dog or one who is not a powerful chewer. I know this is not intended to be a chew toy, but realistically, if you have a medium or large dog, they usually have a tendency to chew any toy you put in front of them. I have an English Pointer mix who normally destroys any toy I give him unless I get it from BullyMake or BarkBox. Unfortunately, neither offer a toy that compares to this one in terms of entertainment for your dog. He absolutely loved this toy so it is a shame that he was able to bite chucks out of it within 20 minutes. I can't find the pieces that he took out of it so I'm waiting to see if he passes them. If not, it will be a visit to the vet. He was so sad when I took it away from him and looked at me with those sad brown eyes. I would love to have one of stronger material that he could play with and not have to worry. The concept for this toy is spot on and I would give it a positive review for a smaller dog or a breed that is not a strong chewer.pompano01-us
My dog absolutely LOVES this ball. We got her one when she was just a puppy and it’s been her favorite toy since. She’s had it about 6 months and has destroyed it. I don’t mind buying one every six months because I get my money’s worth. Last night I went to buy her a new one, thinking she will have it another 6 months. WRONG. My dog loves this lil annoying ball. I don’t know what possessed me to buy it. It’s so annoying, but he loves it. He won’t put it down and won’t let you touch it. However, it dies really quickly. He got a good week and a half out of it and then it died and then you have to go searching for the special battery or Amazon has them. Its a little loud when rolling if you have hardwood floors like I do and my dog likes nothing better than to roll it around. I thought this was hilarious! It completely confused my my biggest dog (a pit bull boxer mix) and then it was just a challenge. This toy is good for inducing "mini heart attacks." Our dogs were not fans of this ball. It scared our Chiweenie, and our 2 pitties lost interest after about 3-5 minutes. After that it was left on the livingroom floor where it would sometimes just get moved slightly and start making noise. My 3yr old has had his Kong for 6mos. or so… big dog size. He's a 90lb. hound/black lab mix that is a mega chewer and this thing occupies him for hours. I shove a giant milkbone into it – helps if I lay the kong on the counter and flatten it with my left hand and shove the bone in with my right. Takes him a while to crush the bone… then he grabs it by the end & does a little shake so the pieces fall out. That can be a bit messy, but he's good at the crumb-clean up! I also put chunks of cucumbers, stawberries, carrots, etc. in the kong and then freeze it. Non-crushable treats (a PB smear or a folded piece of lunch meat or pet jerky) work well, too… takes him longer to get to those. He knows his "SQUEEZY" by name…and he's not the world's brightest dog, so that's testament to how much he loves this dang toy. This dog normally DESTROYS toys (especially treat-related toys) within the first few minutes, so this was a phenomenal investment.PortersPeeps

Our Lab loves this toy and we've had it for a few months and she won't put it down. Loves to fetch it and play tug of war with it. The best part is how long it's lasted, cause when she finally pulled the crinkley water bottle out of it she still loved it! And we just put another empty water bottle in it and it's just like new again. You have to leave the water bottle cap on the water bottle and squish it just enough to put it back in. My dog has always been obsessed with chewing on water bottles but it didn't take him long to tear them apart. Plus, I would always have to watch him to make sure he doesn't swallow any of it.
