Make no mistake, this is a, tough, very good quality product and the Dogs seem to like it, however, on grass this flies and bounces as a normal ball and other Canine owners have even suggested that it is even flies on a truer line, it also does not fit easily into my Chuckit launcher I have tried it on a hard surface but still no particular deviation in direction. The bottom ring is just kind of glued in and it will probably fall out. It happened on both of these. You may want to just try to remove it right away. I cannot rave about this brush ENOUGH! I have a Pug, so as any pug owner can tell you, THEY SHED, and they shed like a big dog would. This brush is incredible for any short haired doggy. When you use it, brush in a circular motion and you can just watch all the loose hairs come up. I was shocked the first time I used this because the amount of hair that it picks up and takes off is nuts. I had been using a regular brush at first for short haired dogs, now I combine the two. If you have a small breed, this is the Kong to get. It is a little softer than the regular Kong, so it makes it easier for a small breed to get to the yummies. Honestly, my dog is little (Yorkie) and initially she was afraid of the JW Hol-ee Roller! But that was short-lived. To get her going I found some treats just the right size and stuffed them in the holes. Well you know, anything to do with treats has to be good! That got "the ball rolling"! No pun intended. Now it is one of her favorite toys. It's great because she usually wants me to interact with her with her toys but this one she is content to play with herself. The way it is designed she can basically throw it in the air herself then chase after it. I no longer put treats in it. So far she hasn't been able to chew it up but if that should ever happen I hope they are still on the market because I will have to replace it. They would make great doggie gifts too. We have bought several of these over the years and in various sizes. They are so much fun for the dogs and with a little creativity you can use them for an endless number of games and configurations. They are durable and easily washable and can be played with outside, in the water at the beach or pool, or inside. We like to stuff treats and toys and chews inside. Sometimes we tie a rope and fling it around outside for the dog to chase after. We have tied pieces of fabric to make snuffle balls so the dogs have to work to get their kibble or treats out of it. We have stuffed smaller holee-rollers inside and other toys like tennis balls or stuffed squeaky toys. Sometimes we shove a cow ear or a thick piece of dried buffalo/beef cheek roll or other long lasting chew. There are so many ways to customize this simple rubber ball. These are our all-time favorite dog toys after decades of owning dogs. The name is awesome, too.S.a.B.
We bought 2 sizes of this toy – the 5\" and the 8\". Both are great. Our dog is not a heavy chewer, nor a great retriever, but she loves to chase after this toy, catch it and run around with it. Because of the holes, it\'s easy for a dog to pick up. If she does come back to me with it, we play a bit of easy tug with it, though I\'m careful not to hold it too tightly as I read somewhere that someone broke their finger playing with it. For that reason, we sometimes tie a homemade braided t-shirt rope to it so we could play tug safely. We have also stuffed the large one with treats and scraps of material to make it a puzzle toy. Like the title says, it's great as long as you don't have a power chewer. I ordered this for my mom's dauchund. It arrived fast, got it and gave it to him. Within 5 minutes of giving it to him, he had already ripped a huge chunk out of the bottom. I kinda figured this would happen since even Kong toys can't stand up to this little dog. But overall, this is a great toy…just not for her dog. I think I'll get one for my dog, she doesn't chew as hard as my mom's dauchund does…and she's a pit mix lolashleteal0

My Dog Vinny was so happy to get his new Frisky Frolic toy from Hartz. He loves all of his squeaky toys and this is no exception. He has been carrying it around with him all day. Not only is this a super squeaky toy but we can use it to play fetch with him. This cute monster is colorful and bright which makes it easy to find in my back yard in case Vinny loses track of it. Frisky Frolic even bounces when he hits the ground, so Vinny can catch him in the air. He is the perfect size for my 82 pound Labrador Retriever to carry around in his mouth. My dog has had many of the Hartz Frisky Frolic yellow ice cream cone toys. I keep one at my house and one at my parents house at all times. I have replaced them when they get too dirty to wash. I cannot find that version anywhere. I purchase the "new" version, but my dog doesn't like it because he wants to be able to pick up the toy comfortably in his mouth. The ice cream cone had a long cone where he would carry it in his mouth. He is not able to keep the "new" version in his mouth and spits it out. Can you please let me know where I can buy some more of the older versions (ice cream cone)?? Thank you!karen17
I thought this was a cute toy. It’s soft, textured and squeaky. It’s made of a thinner latex so it holds up pretty good to my 20 pound MinPin. However she is not that big of a chewer. I think if your dog chews a lot this may not be the toy for them because it may not hold up. I also like how this little toy bounces when thrown; great for a game of fetch. Overall, my dog likes it and I would recommend this for a “light chewer”.Acira27

I bought this for my doberman, it said it was tough and picture shows a border collie chasing it…It looked of appropriate size for my dog. When I received it it was tiny, a toy for a toy dog, not anything like the picture. Will be returning as my doberman could easily swallow chew off the little ball and swallow.
