My little puppy loves this cute toy. Only complaint I had was that it came with a little rip in the seam of the lime. Expensive for a little toy to be coming with a rip already. He hasn’t gotten to it to make it worse yet so he still loves playing with it. Would definitely recommend and buy again.Madison V.

My Chihuahua really put this to the test! He is very destructive and has torn up many of his toys. After many hours of intense chewing this toy is still intact. It has a very loud squeak and the he loves the sound now. At first it startled him a little bit but now it thrills him. He loves to play fetch with it and it isn't hard enough to hurt him if it accidentally bounces on him. It is an all around great toy. The small size is just right for my small Chihuahua. The Hartz Bug Eyes toy is really cute. I received a yellow duck. My dog isn't used to toys that aren't stuffed animals, but she played with this duck okay. She is only 6 pounds, so she didn't have the bite necessary to make his eyes bug out, but she most certainly had the bite necessary to make it scream. 😉 It has a very loud squeal that she loved to hear over and over. 😉 The only issue I had with the Hartz Bug Eyes was the fact that I pulled the plastic tags out instead of cutting them, and they pulled the stuffing out through the holes. It is totally my fault, but just so everyone else knows, *cut* the plastic tags. I will attach a photo of the mess I made due to pulling the tags. My 7 month old Great Dane puppy loves these. He is obsessed with the squeaky noise they make. I ordered some years ago and none of my dogs cared to play with them. Our pup found all of the old ones, they were in rough shape from being outside and in the sun for years. I finally had to throw out the old ones. He is very happy to have new ones. These toys are soft yet sturdy, well made and really make playing time for your dog fun. He loves it when you throw them, they bounce and they're the perfect size.azsunsetlover

My dog was immediately obsessed with this toy. It has multiple squeakers to keep them entertained for a while. The fabric is strong but the stitching for the limbs is not. My dog got one of the legs off after just about 20 minutes. Otherwise, it would be a 5 star toy.Vb26

My dog, Kody has both the skinny and chubby chickens. Their names are Abbott and Costello and they have been his favorite toys for years. They are well made and their squeakers have held up from hours of play and love. A friend of mine just got a new puppy and my gift to the puppy was Skinny Chicken. The long, skinny legs are perfect for chewing and holding onto while dragging the toy around. The short, crinkly wings are fun, too — as judged by Kody & the new puppy. When the puppy gets bigger, she'll be able to squeak the squeakers on her own, giving her something to master. Kody is 10 years old and LOVES his Mr. Chicken. Abbott is dirty, but still totally intact after years of play. Could Skinny Chicken be torn up? Yes. Our border collie could destroy a kevlar vest in minutes and this toy wouldn't last a second because she has to destroy everything she gets her paws on. Bought this for my 1&1/2 year old doberman who loves chew toys. Too bad for the rooster, he didn't make it past the first chew session. His comb was the first to go, then his eyes. To be fair, she destroys all her chew toys, even the ones that are advertised as tough. The search continues for the toy that will stand up to her destructive chewing, luckily she has kept it to her toys so far. I have been using Chuck-it! frisbees for years with my dog. When Chuck-it! discontinued the large triangular Heliflight I wasn't sure what I was going to do because my dog LOVED his – we had been through 3 of them. The Flying Squirrel is no different in quality and comfort for my dogs mouth. Colors are great and it feels pretty durable given it is for fetching and not for chewing (it wouldn't survive a good chew). The biggest issue and as other reviews have mentioned, throwing this thing is SO DIFFICULT at first. I looked like a dizzy 5 year old trying to get it to go straight and not crash to the ground. *** The key is to GET IT WET!!! I took it to the lake and that changed everything. 1) it floats 2) the extra water weight makes throwing it a breeze 3) my dog couldn't get enough. I would 100% suggest this product for anyone planning on using it in the water. Using it on dry land takes some time and the learning curve is pretty painful, but it is still a solid choice for a lightweight fetching toy.N.

This is a great flying toy and my dog LOVES to play fetch with it. We play with it almost daily and he gets great exercise. However, I have to buy a new one every 3-4 weeks because this toy is not durable. It falls apart really quickly. It makes me want to re-design it myself. I suggest the following improvements: 1) Make the stitching MUCH stronger. 2) Improve the corners/tips and stiffeners so they don't come apart so quickly. 3) Use color-fast fabric. ETC. Please note that when the Flying Squirrel gets muddy, I have to rinse it off (almost every day,) so it needs to be able to withstand water/rinsing/scrubbing.Sammy in SF

Our dogs love these toys, we have been buying West Paw toys since we got our first dog, 14 years ago. We lost him to cancer 4 years ago, but the 2 dogs we have now still play with his toys, and ones I've bought since then. They last forever! Their favorite now are the treat ones, we even get to eat in peace! Our dogs have never liked kong toys, the only one I have left we use as a door stop😂. I've only had one get chewed apart, but you replaced it. We have it to a friend with a dog that was not as aggressive a chewed as ours. The only "soft toy" my Bowie owns now is "Richey". I must admit, he has managed to chew a small hole in "Richey", so I now only allow him to play with Richey when I can keep a close eye on him. Bowie has a terrible habit… he not only chews through his toys, he actually ingests them! Therefore, I've had to take every stuffed toy away from him over the past year (he's just 1 year old now). I keep Richey up on a shelf, and Bowie will sit there staring up at his pink buddy, Richey, and start barking at me until I let him play with Richey for a while – under my watchful eye! My puppy LOVES her Kong Flyer. She chases it for hours, and all the other dogs at the park try to steal it too. I love that it's flexible so I can roll it up to fit in a pocket when going for walks. I also appreciate how soft it is so don't worry about teeth breaking when she catches it mid-air. Have had it for a while now, and must say it's very durable – she loves to play tug-of-war with it and it's only got one minor tear on the edge. A++Caitlin

Our dog is obsessed with his KONG frisbee! This is the only frisbee that lasts a significant amount of time. He breaks all other toys quickly. The frisbee works perfectly. We always take it with us on our walks. Throughout the entire walk he will bring us the frisbee to throw it. He even knows the commando 'find the KONG'!miche.p

These are the best toughest dog toys ever. We have two terriers 1 – parsons Russell that kills any toy in 5 seconds,and leaves the toy as a bag. We have had many of these ruff and tuff toys we still have a whole skunk left, but ears have had a bit of a bashing but the body still whole with stuffing and squeaky in tact, we do have others left with some parts damaged but others still whole but the sweeky a bit flat sounding,which is not a bad thing. We have bought these two new ones for our two for Christmas so I can put the old ones in the washing machine. As any new “parent” of a fur animal knows, keeping our fur animal (Beanz) entertained is a labor of love! Our Beanz is just over a year old and is truly a member of our family. She is highly active and loves her toys particularly when “mama” and “papa” must work! We’re not sure who loved this unique Pearhead Happy Hour Dog Toy Set more, us or Beanz. Regardless, it made us both happy that Beanz could partake in some Stella Arf-Tois, Cabarknet, and Rufse (I love the play on words) with us after work. Beanz loved the squeakers in all three of them as she went from the Cabarknet to the Rufse to the Stella Arf-Tois! Our Beanz is just over 30 pounds in weight and a strong chewer, but we were pleased that she simply enjoyed running around the house with one of these bottle shaped dog toys. The size of the bottles is perfect for her to grasp in her jaw at just over 7 inches in height, just over 2 inches in width, and 2 inches in depth. I can’t wait for friends and family to visit, so that Beanz can show off her toys. The Happy Dog toy set is a cute plush squeaking toy for dogs. The three bottles are fun and the dogs loved them. So far the dogs have not destroyed them, which is saying something as normally anything stuffed is destroyed the first time they play with them.Hgagnon73

My blind dog loves these sound noise talking toys. However, it was advertised as extra tough, and my soft mouthed spaniel was able to chew the face off his "monkey" in 3 minutes or less. he also tore off his hands and feet. When I read tough, i assume that the dog would not be able the toy use, and function in less than 3 minutes. it's the lighter weight fabric that gets chewed right off. it needs to be sturdier.Lilly_Bee

We have a 1 year old beagle who got this for her birthday it literally lasted less than an hour. By then most of the outer covering was gone and we had to take it off her . Very disappointing.Brad

I bought this about a year ago for my then-puppy (he's now about 1.5 years old), he loves chewing this toy and it's lasted so long! He's only just started pulling the stuffing out after all this time. Kong toys definitely last the longest for usAmy

You can tell that these toys are made to be more durable, and so far so good. Some damage after a few hours but my (Cockapoo) hasn't yet managed to break through to the stuffing after a few weeks. Downside is they get bored quicker with the toy because they love destroying! I would buy again though, as my carpet is fluff and rope free!Rachel

I have a boxer/pit bull mix who weighs about 70 lbs. He's an aggressive chewer and loves to carry his ball everywhere. After a couple of dozen Kong Squeakair balls, I got tired of having to keep balls for my dog on my Subscribe n Save list. I then went through half a dozen different "almost" indestructible balls. The solid rubber are no fun to him and all the others were destroyed within the first day he had them. Until this. We have now had the LARGE (about 3.5") version for 3 days, and that makes a huge difference, along with the hollow nature of this ball. The problem with the Squeakair balls is twofold. First, I was buying the regular tennis ball size and he could put them to the back of his jaw and really go to town. Second, because they were pressurized, he would then proceed to pop them in half. This was after he carefully removed the felt cover of course. He peels them like an orange. This ball is thick heavy rubber, hollow with the squeaker and a small relief hole preventing using the internal pressure to burst the ball. It bounces fairly well, and despite being a little heavy it's good for throwing. Despite his best efforts, there are very few scratches on the ball after 3 days of intense play and chewing. If there is a weak point it would be the squeaker which is inserted in the wall of the ball. He's only concentrated on it a couple of times and failed to dislodge it, but he might be able to with a concentrated effort. We'll see, and I'll update if he does. So far it's the best ball I've found. Even if he pops the squeaker out it will still be a good ball. UPDATE: Well, he finally popped the squeaker out and has chewed on the area where it came out. He's going to destroy it eventually but for now even without the squeaker he still carries it everywhere. Alas, it looks like solid rubber balls are the only thing that will last a month with him.J.

First off, dog loves the balls, but then again he loves all his toys. I can tell you it took him less the 15 minutes to have the squeaker part torn apart and pushed inside the balls. Now they just rattle. Makes no difference to him but he is still trying to find a way to get it out of the ball. He will succeed in time, as he takes it personal when he can't get them out of the balls. This is a tough little toy but not indestructible for a 20 pound Boston Terrier. I would recommend this toy to anyone wanting a tough toy for their dog but realize the squeaker part can be disabled by the dog in all of them in less the 15 minutes. So far the only ball he has not got the squeaker out of is one made by a different mfg. that has the squeaky ball inside a second ball, but this makes it to big for our dogs mouth so this ball for now will have to do. If my $11 purchase last more then 3 months I'll be more then happy!!!!!rtwinch

Almost 2 months ago I got this ball for my german shepard of 4 months , she didnt quite know how to fit the ball in her mouth but she sure tried. I didnt think the ball would be so big but anyways now she has less trouble picking it up and since day one she got obsessed with the ball. She always wants us to play fetch with her but never wants to let go of the ball, I have to give her breaks sometimes and hide it but she always finds it. I keep wanting to buy the medium size ball because it seems that might be just perfect for her mouth but I'm thinking that would make it easier for her to chew on and possibly breaking the squeaker and what's a squeaking ball without a squeaker?J.
