They break easily for smaller portion sizes, and they crumble when he bites down on the cookie with his gums. Little gobbler is so excited when we give him his crunchy cookie and probably more excited that he can still eat crunchy treats. I haven't found any other hard dog biscuits that match this perfect balance of hard and crunchy in the box while breakable by hand, and evenly crumbly under pressure. My pup prefers the peanut butter flavor by far over the chicken for these baked treats. My dogs love these treats. Problem is the ingredients are bad for dogs. Dogs can’t have garlic or garlic powder. Also the red, yellow and blue dyes are unnecessary and harmful to dogs. Plus all the ingredients are very cheap and I don’t think quality meat or other proteins are used. Basically it’s the garbage left over. I’m new to figuring out what exactly is in the treats and food our dogs consume. In small quantities it’s okay but overall I’m trying to get away from these types of treats. As much as my dog likes peanut butter, these didn't really fly with him sadly. He ate a few, but after that, he decided to call it quits.I did, out of curiosity, try the treats myself. I am one of those people that is curious about what my pet eats. It does have a very minor peanut butter taste but it isn't prominent. The taste is more oaty, with a sweet aftertaste reminding me of prunes. I'm assuming the prune like aftertaste is what is coming from the vegetable glycerin and molasses. These are the cutest dog treats ever! They look like little gingerbread men. My dogs love them and i haven't noticed if there are any flavor preferences. They gobble them all down just the same. These are good sized treats, made with real ingredients. The chicken flavor contains real chicken, the beef flavor contains beef etc, no fillers or ingredients i can't pronounce. i really like that they are oven baked crunchy biscuits made from whole grains that are baked in the USA. I am loving the Buddy Biscuits brand of dog treats. I think I am loving them more than my dog Dexter is, though for different reasons obviously. He loves the taste of all that we have tried so far. He has had the various jerky treats and the Bacon flavored baked treats. But I think this is his favorite because it is assorted flavors and he gets something yummy with every treat I give him! I love that they are baked, wholesome, and have limited but quality ingredients in them. And best of all I am able to support US businesses by buying these for him! Big win here!

My furbabies can't get enough of this! They love this crunchy treat that's made with real ingredients! I do worry about what they eat, there's alot of products out there with ingredients that are harmful. Buddy Biscuits have no artificial colors or flavors and free of corn and soy. The idea of just 5 ingredients is a great idea. This review is for the oven baked paw’some peanut butter. Looking at the ingredients list: oats, peanut butter, dry whey, canola oil and natural flavor. Everything looks pretty harmless except for “natural flavor”, not sure what it really means but I will give them benefit of a doubt. But because one of my dogs is prone to cysteine stone he is unable to try this treat, he is on a restricted diet. So this review is base on my other dog’s reaction, she is a picky eater but love treats! The first time I handed her the treat she just sniffed it, did not take the treat. That’s already not a good sign, but maybe she just don’t want the treat at the moment (sometime she has mood swings). We tried new treats all the time when she sniff it and like it, she takes the treat right away. So my hope for this treat decreases. After some time passed I tried handing her the treat, again sniffed it but did not take it. Before giving up on the treat I did tried again with no success 😕. My final verdict for this treat is that it’s probably not for picky eater and not for dogs prone to cysteine stones. I really love the idea of using simple real Whole Foods. It is hard to find pet foods/treats that truly uses Whole Foods. Most pet products have ingredients that we either can’t pronounce or simply don’t know what it is. I really hope Merrick will make treats for dogs that are prone to cysteine stone or pets that have diet restrictions.miss.s

With only a few ingredients, this treat easily passed my ingredient inspection (it is shocking how many dog treats have unsafe ingredients in them!), and my dog quickly took to them! I put them inside of treat dispenser toys and they pose a nice challenge for my dog to work on. OH. MY. GOSH. 4 paws up and all smiles here! I interviewed my pup and asked her what she thought? She gave lots of kisses so I guess it’s safe to assume she LOVES them. Yall, there’s only ~5 ingredients in this product. I jokingly told my dad he could eat one. You really can (not that I would advise that). My pup was so happy and instantly ran back for another.
