These Minties Twists Chews Actually solved two problems with our French Bulldog. The first was finding a treat for him that would agree with his sensitive stomach. the second was getting his teeth clean which is a struggle with him. I had pulled out the bag and it was if he knew they were for him. He came right over and sat down . I gave him one, he took it and ran over to his pad and ate it. they are the perfect size for him and because they are twists they give him different angles to chew while cleaning his teeth.He was done in a few minutes. I had my daughter sniff his breath without telling her what flavor they were to see if they worked. She did notice a vanilla scent to his breath. Great ingredients, unlike some treats that are the brushless remedies. Seems to be working as their breath is better. I do not give them daily and usually after they eat so it is not on an empty stomach. Also, good rule to always make sure you dog is chewing it and not eating it whole as a regular treat. I have two dogs, one large and and one small. I gave the Greenies to both dogs to see how they reacted to them. My large dog loves them. He gulps them up in one sitting. My small dog doesn’t like them at all. I believe it is due to the oily smell they have. She took a couple of sniffs and goes the other way. I like the face they they are nice and soft and not hard on my dog’s teeth. I love that they’re are supplements to help keep my dogs coat nice and shiny. I give my large dog 2 per day based on his weight and he has no problem eating them. The bag is resealable to they stay fresh much longer. I plan to buy more of the Greenies Supplement for him. As for my little dog, I will have to find her something else. The best thing I can suggest is to test them out on your dog/dogs. They may or may not like them. This review is for Greenie’s Hip & Joint Supplements. We were honestly skeptical about what this product could supposedly do for our 70lb rescued furbaby. Tortilla is an 11+-year-old Cattledog mix. My babies go CRAZY over the Minties – I've tried other semilunar brands and they won't eat them. They no longer carry Minties at any Sam's near me – so THANK GOODNESS I can buy them on line. On Sunday my bf went to Sam's and bought these treats b/c we are fostering an Australian Terrier and also have a Maltipoo so we wanted to give them treats for good behavior and keep their mouth clean. We gave these treats to them on Monday evening and that's all she ate for the rest of the night. Well – Tuesday my Maltipoo began having really loud stomach gurgles and just a small bit of loose stools. Then at night she ended up puking three times, and then having some dyarrea. I could not figure out what was wrong. I even though it was from some chicken that we fed both of them that my boyfriend and I had cooked and season fresh for them. (Yes we are those types of dog owners since we don't have kids.) So THEN, Wednesday her symptoms worsened and then had massive loose stools overnight. My boyfriend went to the store at 6am to get her some medicine for her stomach. I thought she was doing better, but Thursday overnight into Friday morning she had even MORE runny stools. My Maltipoo is potty trained, but poor gal went in five different places. She didn't even make it to the bathroom. I was glad she wasn't throwing up anymore and thankful I have the Bissell Spot Bot, but she didn't feel good. My dogs are not allowed on my bed, she sleeps in memory foam Serta next to me, but last night she wanted me to hold her and she kept trying to get on my bed and ended up sleeping right beneath me under the space below my bed so she was closer to me. You can tell she's sad and is not feeling well. If my dog doesn't feel better today, I'm taking her to the Vet. My bf is staying home with her today as I had to go to work, and keeping her a close watch to make sure she's at least still drinking water. The medicine we got her has helped, but I'm afraid these MINTIES that have caused my Maltipoo to get violently ill are going to do more damage. My Australian Terrier will eat ANYTHING, and his stools have also been runny and un-normal, but not as bad as my Maltipoo. Still – Minties should make sure they have a safe formula. No product should cause this type of distress in a dog and this much damage. That's not safe. My Maltipoo was gifted to me for my birthday and she is my soul. I love her more than anything in this world and I just want her to feel better. I'm really upset and it's painful to watch my Maltipoo be in this kind of state. I don’t get why people hype these chews. I used to give my Pomeranian these, and it gave her a slab fracture on both sides. These do not follow the knee cap rule. These are way too hard for your dog. I was really scared about his health… He is absolutely healthy, I visited Veterinaire for the check up a month ago. Also read the packaging info: it could be harmful or FATAL. Is it worth the risk??? Of all the dental chews for dogs we have tried, Greenies work the best and they do not upset our mixed Border Collies stomach like others. Our dog has issues with tarter build up even from a very young age that the vet attributes to genetics. I brush his teeth several times a week in combo with giving him a Greenie everyday. The Greenies seem to make more of a difference than the brushing but the only thing that makes a huge difference and pretty much removed all his tartar build up is letting him gnaw on a big all natural knuckle bone. I let him chew on one a couple times a week for about 30 minutes while I watch him. His teeth after the 1st time doing this we’re almost 100% cleaned, it was amazing. I buy these for my little ones. They have all different sizes but this size fits my dogs. They seem to live them too. They always get excited when they see they are getting a "snack" even tho it's to help keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh, they tear them up as if they are a yummy snack. Of all the dental chews for dogs we have tried, Greenies work the best and they do not upset our mixed Border Collies stomach like others. Our dog has issues with tarter build up even from a very young age that the vet attributes to genetics. I brush his teeth several times a week in combo with giving him a Greenie everyday. The Greenies seem to make more of a difference than the brushing but the only thing that makes a huge difference and pretty much removed all his tartar build up is letting him gnaw on a big all natural knuckle bone. I let him chew on one a couple times a week for about 30 minutes while I watch him. His teeth after the 1st time doing this we’re almost 100% cleaned, it was amazing. The large variety of Greenies are very expensive and since our dog eats one in about 5 minutes they are not cost effective for us.kimbery.d
I buy these for my little ones. They have all different sizes but this size fits my dogs. They seem to live them too. They always get excited when they see they are getting a "snack" even tho it's to help keep their teeth clean and their breath fresh, they tear them up as if they are a yummy snack. The bones have ridges and stuff around it so it can get in all kinds of cracks and crevasses in your pets mouth. I do notice a difference after they eat one. Their breath is much better. However they don't have horrible breath to begin with. Not sure if it would help with actual mouth smells due to sickness or disease but would probably help.angela.w

I saw tons of positive reviews but also several about upset stomach and diarrhea which I chose to ignore since my dog doesn’t have a sensitive stomach.
