I'm quite surprised with the reviews that say this product doesn't work. For my dog, it truly was a LIFE SAVER! I've been battling with my dogs hotspots (and dry, flaky skin) off and on ever since we moved back to the Midwest, at least a year of her issues. I've tried shampoos, conditioners, a handful of trips to the vet to trial different foods, and hundereds of dollars later I honestly just gave up. I started putting alternative topical agents on her that simply gave a temporary resolution. While traveling out of town, she (Mini Schnauzer) had a really bad case, to the point where she was starting to bleed. Tea oil, hot spot spray and the above HomeoPet drops were what I returned with, after another visit to the pet store. After the first day her redness had diminshed greatly and she wasn't itching nearly as much. By two, she wasn't itching AT ALL. I decided to remove the Tea oil and spray since I'd used them in the past without long-term results. It's been a week and my schnauzer has had 3-5 drops a day, oral dose of this product and she is doing exceptional! Seriously! No redness, no scratching. Today I hadn't given her any since yesterday afternoon and she started scratching again. I gave her 3 drops and about a couple hours later, again, her scratching is gone. This product worked exceptionally on my dog. On the other hand, I don't think her issues were due to food allergies, vs environmental surroundings, my guess. It works wonderfully by picking up loose hairs after you brush your dog with a sleeker brush or a comb. However, I recently was messing around with my puppy on the carpet and ended up with a lot if hairs that were upsetting me and since I had this brush in my hands, I gave it a try and voila! it cleaned my carpet in just a few minutes. I was able to collect all the loose hair from the carpet and a few pieces of his chew toy that my vacuum failed to get. These are so good for white heads and stubborn pimples. Normally in my teens I would pop any pimple on my face but as o got older I learned about acne scars I ain’t want that lol. I stopped buying acne patches like these because they never seemed to work for me or it took too long to see results. So it felt like a waste of money. But I heard a friend keep raving about these, saying her pimples would vanish overnight when she used these. I honestly didn’t believe her, so I was curious to try and see for myself. They’re a good size; I applied the first one to a big, angry, red pimple I had just popped with pus coming out. Although they’re not transparent (they have a yellow tint to them), I wore it during the day to keep myself from picking at the spot further. Not really expecting much, I went about my day and forgot it was even on until I looked at the mirror later that night. To my surprise, there was a huge glob of gunk on the patch once I took it off. It was gross, but oddly satisfying to see. The pimple I had applied it to had significantly decreased in size, almost flattened. So I slapped another one on that night to see what would happen in the morning. I woke up the next day to take it off and like last night there was some gunk. Not as much as the first time, but there was some. This time the pimple was pretty much gone, completely flat. There was a little redness left behind, but I have to say these are by far the most effective acne patches I have come across. No patch I’ve ever tried has delivered results THIS quickly. Our dog developed an inflamed bladder due to chemotherapy he was taking for cancer. He went from never having an accident to completely losing bladder control. These have been a life saver! My only complaint is that they do shrink a bit after washing, so I had to order the extenders in order to be able to use them after they’ve been washed a few times. Our Hava-Tzu started marking about three years after having him. He was fixed but out of the blue he started. Had him to the vet and he was physically great! But we endured him marking on the stainless steel frig, the bottom drawer of our stainless steel stove and the front of the dishwasher not to mention to many baseboards to name!! Got this as a free sample. Great size for small animals. The slicker's wires are not too long and are relatively soft and gentle. My cat Buttercup even seemed to like the feel. Thomas, our rescued rat Terrier REALLY enjoyed it. He lost and leg and can't scratch so this was a welcome treat. He also now battling cancer and COPD so it something makes him happy we are happy and its much easier scratching him with the brush than with our fingers. I like the GROOMER'S BEST slicker brush for cats. The shape is better compared to the rectangular brush I have. This brush is best for a light daily grooming. I have a longhaired cat, so it wouldn't glide easily through the thicker part of her hair. During the spring and summer, she gets so many knots in her hair that I have to use a special brush that is more sturdy for removing knots and undercoat. I wanted to love this so much. The light cream works well and zaps the pimples. My skin doesn't get dry and flaky from use. The initial smell when applied is of tea tree oil, but the smell fades within ten minutes. Unfortunately, what's left behind is the lingering smell of sulfur (like mild rotten eggs). It's aggravating my nausea, which is such a shame because the cream itself does work well. With my nose as sensitive as it is right now, the overwhelming smell of sulfur is in the blankets and pillow, and with every fluff and movement, I can smell it.
