My cat has had repeated uti's involving emergency vet visits and a lot of stress. When the antibiotic wears off, the infection returns. I was at Petco on Sunday and saw this product and decided to buy it in case there was another infection. My cat had a crisis 2 days later with very extreme symptoms. I gave her 5 drops and noticed no change. So I did it again in 15 minutes and she began to calm down. Then she sat quietly for awhile and then went upstairs to sleep under my bed for the rest of the day. The next day she acted like nothing had happened. I was amazed! Time will tell if she will have more problems, but this is way better than dragging her crying to the vet, if I can even find a vet who will see her the same day. While I am not really one to normally write a review, I research other reviews diligently and thought it was time I started- especially to brag on this product and hopefully help someone else. Case: Mittens is a 3 year old female never with any previous UTI issues, Food: ate frisky crunchies and was happy, Fast forward to 2 months ago- she started with always being wet on her bottom. It kind of threw me off because I thought it could be a problem with her rear and not bladder, it progressed to constant going in litter box and barely having anything come out. Through this time 700. was spent at vet, ultrasounds, urinalysis' , lab testing, all showing nothing but antibiotics were administered as it was obvious something was wrong. The vet was insistent about stress thought I was skeptical as absolutely zero had changed in our household and buying the 50. food just was not an expense I was ready to do at that moment. The antibiotics has slight improvement but never fixed the issue. Mittens also has to be put under aneasthesia every time we go as she is very sweet, but not a good patient. During this time I was also an my witts end not wanting to put her thru another battery of testing and my house issue. In that I mean everywhere she went she would leave wet spots and a terrible smell which simply could not go on. So I went to do what you have done if you are here, online research and came across this product. I ordered it and went to bed as it was late and would be ready for pick up the next morning. I was hopeful and excited that this could be 'it'- a cure. So we picked it up and went to work. I followed dosing as directed for an acute condition as that is what we had. I had to administer via wet food because a syringe simply does not work with her. We did 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and went on as directions said the whole time via food, 2nd day three times a day 10 drops each meal, and 3rd day back to initial dosing of 10 drops every 15 minutes for the first hour and 2 more times that day. I was not seeing the 'immediate result' some people had at that point. I will also say I was feeding her uti proplan wet food only during this time. We started Sunday morning and I did not notice relief until Tuesday evening- We were getting a stream of urine. I was so happy I could cry! Now we are at Thursday and we seem to be almost normal. Absoulutely AMAZING, have patience this stuff works! I am going to continue dosing twice a day and maybe even once a day for prevention going forward. I am also going to find some uti dry food, most likely Purina One uti to keep with prevention as that is my motivation going forward. Cannot be happier with the $6 price tag and the miracle inside. I got this after I noticed my kitty using her litter box repeatedly and licking herself constantly. I added it to her water yesterday and today and have been giving her the drops directly in her mouth. It’s easiest for me to hold the bottle in front of her until she starts biting on the nozzle… every few bites it gets deep enough to squeeze and spray… and viola! She almost seems to like it. As you’ve read on many other reviews, this product is dangerous and potentially deadly for cats. We gave our cat, Loki, this product and not even 4 hours later she started displaying signs of progressing toxicity… she began to present tremors, antisocial behavior and discomfort. She could not find comfort at all, and she seemed to be agitated and had problems walking. So we took her to the ER around midnight and they kept her overnight to stabilize her. The next morning she was discharged – but still presents this behavior. I fear that if we hadn’t taken her in, this product would have killed her. Only time will tell if it leaves irreversible neurological damage…

This company has a bad history of product related deaths and damages – and I see they’ve faced a few lawsuits and recalls as well. This company needs to compensate for all damages, and shut down immediately! This has gone on for 7+ years to no avail.

Within hours of pouring this down my dogs back it started to affect her nervous system causing her to continuously rock side to side in a sitting, laying, and standing position. It caused extreme discomfort and she became very anti social. Luckily a member of my family is a veterinary and she told me to give her a bath immediately with “DAWN DISH SOAP” and purchase some “ SPRING VALLEY ACTIVATED CHARCOAL SUPPLEMENTS” and give her 20!!

If you’re experiencing any of the sort I would wash my pet immediately and give him/her the correct amount of pills based on their weight.

I was on frontline for years but when I thought I saw a couple fleas on my dogs in September 2020, I decided to make a switch to Advantage II for my cats and Advantix II for my dogs— BIGGEST mistake of my life (seriously, like over any horrible exes). I have $515.97 in receipts I submitted to the company (which was as horrible as the experience, which I will get to) and spent an additional $70 in store (in which I cannot find the receipt) since September 2020 to December. I followed every tip on the website and insert and my animals were still covered. I applied perfectly. I applied initially weekly, vacuum daily, steam cleaned, wash bedding constantly, etc. I don’t even have carpet but on the stairs and have treated the stairs and couches with Predcor. I even bought those flea traps with the sticky bottoms. I am not including any of this in that total I spent– that was all on the flea medications themselves for the 6 animals. I have saved some, not all, of the vials so on 11/13 I called Elanco. They denied my request for any type of refund. They questioned my exact dosage dates and frequency more than a doctor wants to know about your menstrual cycles but I took my best guesses, for all 6 animals although I did know what schedule they were on but didn't have it in front of me. Then they said that the product was probably not working because I bathed my dogs initially at the beginning 48 hours before application?? Their website TELLS you to bathe them before application (see 2nd screenshot posted)! I stopped bathing them after the 2nd application as it wasn't working and the dogs were miserable and only tried 2 cats (and really only 1 successfully because we all know how that goes). They then told me that I didn't give the product long enough?? Their website states (see 3rd screenshot) and is the same for Advantage II "K9 Advantix® II kills fleas within 12 hours. New fleas that jump on the dog from the surroundings, such as grass, carpet and pet bedding, are killed within 2 hours with protection against further infestation for at least 4 weeks." I tried their products, $600 worth on 6 animals, as scheduled, no missed doses for 4 months. I can’t blame it on just one animal or one batch—it didn’t work on 6, or one batch! I am very upset. Not only have I wasted money on these but I have bought corresponding products, sprays for the beddings, flea traps, etc. I FINALLY called Terminex and had to spend 12 hours clearing out under my beds, closets, getting everything off my floors, moving furniture etc. (time I will never get back) and getting my children and pets out of the house and went back to the brand that works: FRONTLINE! NO MORE FLEAS– what I should have done in the first place. I am so upset not by the fact that the product didn't work but by the way the company handled it, dodging any responsibility from blaming it on the baths they recommend to the length of time I gave it when they could have just refunded me and had someone that isn't going to not only post this review every place I bought it (not just here) but every other place that allows a review to include social media.Intelhottie

We bought Advantix liquid application anti-flea and tick treatment because it is effective, was less expensive and did not require a prescription. We had easily and successfully used liquid Advantix for years with our Plott hound mix. We now have a beagle. Beagle hair is different; it's thick, coarse, oily, kind of water proof and difficult to part in order to properly apply the liquid to the skin. Advantix is a very good product, but pet owners may want to assess their pet's coat to determine how the liquid application could be applied.Gary

My dog was getting ticks so I purchased this. I have used it in the past with great success when it had the Bayer logo on it . The one I received has the Elanco brand logo on it. I used 1 bottle and It was like I used nothing at all. Mind you I walk my dog and when he comes in the house I would find 2 or 3 live ticks walking on him. So I figured ok maybe it didnt work or I didnt wait long enough. After about 10 days of this I applied another bottle and again nothing. He still kept coming in the house with ticks every time. So I'm not sure exactly what's going on but the package I received appeared to be authentic. All serial numbers matched and packages were sealed well. My dog had an allergic reaction to the antibiotics he was on after having a few teeth pulled. The itch was driving him crazy. Purchased this product with not much confidence made a huge difference in my GSD allergies. Sprayed on the area he was chewing when he would begin chewing. It gave him instant relief, he now comes to get the area sprayed when he chews. I am going to use the same product which is an ointment to see how well it does. Rosebud was biting at her nether parts due to itching. This applied liberally relieved her jitters. I got this because we had two other dogs several years ago who were both affected by itching in different doggy-parts (stomach, behind, etc) and I used a similar product for them which also worked well. I believe a Hot Spot Anti-itch Spray is an essential for any dog's care kit. This product does the job to ease a dpog's constant itching well.MarkD2

I been used this fore many years until my husky pass away. This product was a great shield from the ticks since we leave in tropical weather its normal the dogs catch some. Applied to all 5 of my dogs after bathing and drying them thoroughly and I have to say, for about a week, it actually worked but after a week it stopped working. I have had no problems using "Adams flea & tick spot on" treatments on my dog for the last year. My dog is a large dog. He weighs 85 pounds. He has had no negative reactions to this product. My dog is mostly an 'indoor dog'. The amount of time he is exposed to ticks and fleas is very limited. My only dislike with the Adams is that it seems a bit 'greasy' and can be difficult to applyimg to his upper neck behind the shoulders. Some of the liquid seems his dense hair and maybe not enough to his skin, which could be a waste. I shall soon transfer to a less greasy brand. If your dog does not have such dense hair this should not be a problem. Just follow the instructions on the box.dadm

This flea and tick treatment is a great deal. Bio spot defense kills fleas, the methoprene in it also kills their eggs and larvae as well as ticks and mosquitoes. It's water resistant, so you don't have to worry about your pet being in the rain. The ingredients are similar to other products. The best part is the applicator. Open the applicator, stick an unopened tube in, and close it. It automatically snaps the tube open. Then to apply, you just place the tip on your pet, press the button and move to another spot, press again, and once more. Remove the tube and discard. You can then reuse the applicator with your future treatments. I got none on my hands and it applied the treatment deep within my dog's coat. Does it work? Well I haven't seen any fleas or ticks yet. The price is great so I will continue to use this throughout the summer and fall.ella.c

My dog seems to be doing fine with this product. When i first applied it, i had given him a bath just 2 hours prior. I found out that giving a bath 48-72 hours prior to application of a topical flea preventative is best instead of 1-2 hours because bathing a dog will naturally strip the skin and coat of oils, oils that are needed for the flea product to distribute itself around the body of the dog through the process of Translocation.Anyways the first time i applied the product i still saw fleas. I waited about 2 weeks after the first application and reapplied a 2nd one due to my concerns that bathing him right before i applied the 1st application made the product less effective. It seems to be working now. Great price (Especially on Amazon). The fact its not as waterproof as Frontline Plus kinda irks me, but i only bath my dog monthly anyways (Somehow he remains clean even though he's rolling out in the dirt everyday!) and he rarely gets wet so no bother to me.You should also take into account that after you've applied Bio Spot or any other flea preventative if your home is infested with fleas and ticks, then they will still end up on the dog, but eventually be killed. I purchased this product specifically for killing Japanese Beetles. The moment that I started spraying, these Japanese Beetles started getting very agitated and dropping off of the plants. The amount of these beetles have been reduced by almost 3/4 of the population in my yard. I use this spray on my roses, lilies, tomato plants, 2 apple trees, and my Red Bud tree. This concentrate is super easy to mix up. I measure 4 ounces of the Sevin liquid with the included measuring cap into my 1 gallon sprayer, I fill the sprayer with tap water up to the 1 gallon line and that’s all there is to it. I have tried many brands of garden spray in my lifetime and this is the first one that I have ever had good results with.Mark

We desperately wanted these ADORABLE Wellies to work with our pup's paws, but we found the molded material a bit difficult to get a good fit in the 'toe box' compared to Canada Pooch's more pliable Secure Sock Boots (of which we bought two pairs in the end). Definitely worth trying the Wellies on your dog first though, as the single-piece construction makes them a completely waterproof fashion statement that will keep even the worst mud and grit at bay! These just didn’t fit my bully mix feet at all, he’s 50 pounds. I tried two sizes and the width of the booth even at 5xl was not suitable. The 5xl I was able to get his paw in but then length of the boot was too big which caused him to trip up. If your dog has a wide, short paw avoid these boots. I also noticed the boot material was sticky, so sand and road dust did stick to them. The build quality was nice though.Maggie M.

I ordered these orginally for my 82lbs bernedoodle 11 month old pup. Living in upstate NY, both him and my 45ish lbs medium sized Labradoodle wear boots regularly. I typically buy from my local pet store… although, I find they are thin and cheaply made. The velcro almost always breaks off and they are thin material. So I decided to try the Canada Pooch unlined wellies. I measured my Bernedoodles paws exactly as recommended as he typically wears size XL in pet store brand. (And based off size chart for Canada pooch I knew it would be far too small) Based off Canada Pooch size rec and measurements that i did do, he should be 4xl. Decided to order 5Xl just to be safe and that I'd rather have them too big than too small. Immediately upon opening I triple checked the size on the box. Just because they looked soooo small. 5XL. Just to find, they wouldn't even go over his paws. I am sooooo sad. They are AMAZING quality. The velcro is thick and sturdy, the material itself is so nice just for some unlined wellies! They fit my labradoodle perfect so I will keep them for her. I wish they made a bigger size so I could buy them for my Bernedoodle… just buyer beware they run very small!Marissa P.

I bought this for mine and my daughter’s cocker spaniels. Her 1 year old loves them! We break them up and mix them with her kibble. We pour the kibble on top & she’ll nose through it to get at the Stella & Chewy freeze dried pieces first! My dog is 12 years old, has kidney disease and has ALWAYS been an extremely picky eater. She liked these patties for a few weeks, but eventually she rejected them. I was so happy just to have her actually enjoy something for a few weeks— she usually rejects in a day or two. Marie Moodys Stella and Chewys brand has gotten so bad it should be on the grocery shelf next to Rachel Rays dog food. The Stella’s essentials dog food kibble are so small that my pets have a hard time trying to chew it. It’s more like cat food kibble. I stopped buying the chicken Shredrs because it smells like tuna and others have noticed it except for Emily who answers through contact us on the company’s web site. she claims it’s chicken when it’s not and ignores checking into it from where they make and bag the brand. Marie Moody has decided after all the years being in business to slack off on quality and misrepresent her pet food. The freeze dried Pattie’s have been hard as a rock and what she’s doing is non sense and she wants to be well paid for the bad quality she’s putting out. My dog is allergic to fleas. And they leave nasty red bumps and rashes around her private part, chest, and under her arms. I applied this cream and in a couple of days I noticed a reduction of the redness and it was drying the rash. I will definitely purchase again.Christie H.

I am happily writing about how ZYMOX Hydrocortisone Cream helped my dog from a discomforting itch. My dog had irritating skin. She had red bumps on her stomach, it was an environmental reaction. Once I gently rubbed the cream on her, it soothed her and she didn't scratch. The redness has cleared and she feels so good. She's playing and she's happier. I needed to use this product for some time to appreciate its abilities. My dog likes to spend time outside rolling around and doing dog things. This leads to her coming into the house, tracking dirt and the pesky fleas. We've done well to mitigate it in the past, but PetArmor helped in the process. Within a few days, we noticed that she would not be scratchy when coming back into the house, then we didn't have to treat her bedding as much. Very nice! In the past, I have given my dog oral medication to prevent flea and ticks. It worked well but I was never comfortable with the fact that he had to ingest the medicine. I decided we’d use a topical solution for this summer and this is working great so far. The application was easy and the the applicator worked well. I’ve had to apply a different brand on foster puppies in the past and sometimes, the liquid would just all flow right out during the first contact, leaving no medicine for the rest of the dog’s back. It wasn’t the case with PetArmor. I had good control to dispense the product with their applicator. My dog had no discomfort whatsoever on the application sites. The product didn’t leave his coat all oily or smelly. I love that you can scan a QR code in the box and the brand will send a text 30 days later as a reminder for when the next dose is due. Finally something that works consistently. After trying probably 10-15 brands of flea and tick stuff for my Dogs this is the company I come back to. Ive tried expensive stuff, Ive tried dirt cheap stuff. This works and works FAST. I actually have to put my dogs out if they have fleas on them at all. Within 30 minutes they are jumping off to get away and die. Weve had issues with super fleas here in northeast USA where the only thing Ive found to work is old fashion dawn dish soap and salt.Ive literally spread salt on all my floors so it looks like snow and left it sit over night then vacuum it up and then mop with dawn dish soap, everyday for over a week straight. This stuff not only took care of the fleas on the dogs and cats but the ones in the house would jump on the dogs would die to. Havent had an issue since.Corvet08

I have a 97 lb. German Shepard. He is in a wheelchair/cart because he has no coordination or muscling in his hind legs. Because of this, he drags his feet and knuckles over, causing scrapes and bleeding to his hind feet. I have tried a wide range of items including my own protective foot wrap. ALL have fallen off in the first few strides. PawZ are a dream come true; they stay on, protect his feet and are reusable. Currently, I only use the boots on his hind feet. He takes a size Large and just like our own shoes, you need to get the correct size for you dog. *******IMPORTANT*******DO NOT LEAVE THESE BOOTS ON YOUR PET’S FEET FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME!!! They are snug around the neck of the boot, so I would suggest removing them immediately after you return from walking. I wouldn’t suggest using them for indoor traction for any period of time.Eli12

We got these for our parents dog because everywhere they can take him out in the winter has giant chunks of salt that really bother his paws. The top of the boots are very tight! Be very careful if your dog has sore legs or paws, don't put these on unless you cut the tops to let up some pressure. I bought the Lg size for a pit bull and they fit well besides being tight at the top. Unfortunately the dog we got them for had a bad experience, within a few minutes they were hurting him, and even more to get them off. They should be fine now that we cut them but hoping he will have forgotten the unpleasant experience by next winter. We tried the same ones on our small dog and they were tight on his legs which were half the size or less of the pitbulls. If your dog has very arthritic legs or paws, or even if they're sensitive you may want to get the more permanent type boots that are more gentle to get on/offcatelynprovos-0

I had been struggling with a slight flea problem with my dog who is routinely treated with K9 ADVANTAGE II topical flea protection. After a vacation we came home with some fleas and my dog was scratching himself crazy. Topical meds were obviously not working. I tried vinegar and palmolive baths (with essence oils) there werent a lot of fleas but only a few are too many. Vaccuming and household sprays were not eliminating the tiny fleas i saw. I finally decided a medicated ‘dip’ was what i needed…found this shampoo at Walmarts and noticed it had a higher % of pyrethrins than anything else so i gave it a try. I followed the directions,used rubber gloves, lathered up good and let it sit about 7-8 minutes. I saw a few fleas wash off with the rinse….hours later my dog is sleeping peacefully and i cannot find even 1 flea no matter how hard i try. I love this shampoo! You only need a tiny amount to lather the whole dog and it doesnt smell horrible. If you have a flea problem try this shampoo (but dont forget your house must also be flea proofed).Fav

I really like that it uses a natural ingredient to kill the pests instead of a strange chemical that could endanger my pet or the environment. This shampoo can be used on horses, ferrets, dogs, and cats. Puppies and kittens should be twelve weeks old to use this for control of fleas and ticks. It is not to be used more often than every seven days. Synergy Labs makes this product. The instructions are to wet the animals coat first with warm water. Start lathering the shampoo in at their head and ears first. Then lather the neck, chest, middle and hindquarters. Finish with the legs last paying special attention to the foot pads and especially between the toes. Be sure to get the under body areas well. Make sure to keep out of the eyes as it will cause discomfort. Leave the lathered shampoo on for five minutes before doing a careful rinse. I have been battling fleas on my inside/ outside dog and 2 indoor cats. I have had little to no results with just about everything. I did my research and bought this shampoo based on reviews and that I could use it in both the dog and the cats. Both cats are older and I’m scared of the topical monthly flea meds. This seemed like a more harmless option. The first cat seems to have done well. My second cat started foaming at the mouth and drooling heavily. I immediately rinsed her and wrapped her in a towel. She seems to be recovering okay. I’m watching her closely. There were very few negative reviews but I just wanted to post my experience with it. And I’m all fairness it may very well be that she was so stressed by the bath that it was a stress reaction. I’m not sure. Just be aware and watch your pets closely for any signs of stress.Pamela

I have been using this product for years. I live on a cattle farm so flys are a guaranteed to be around. I have the sprayer unit in my living room and one in my bedroom. The old farm house does have air leaks where my apartment is. I have also used it in my horses stall in the sprayer units.Horse owner in SE Wisc

I'm a truck driver with 2 dogs. They stay outside when I'm gone. One of my potties has sensitive skin and allergies. One flea, one fly bite, one mosquito bite, will have her scratching and in no time she is scratching her hair out. I've tried so many things , but country vet mosquito spray works. One weekend I came home and she was covered in wells from mosquito and fly bites. I put the country vet timed dispenser by the dog kennel which is outside but is us a screened in area. This works FABULOUS for my American Bulldog. So softening for him. Lathers up great and rinses off well too. Smell is wonderful. I use the spray for the home as well. Use it in my car too. My dog has never had fleas in the 7 years I've had him…all of a sudden he had little buggers all over him. Tried this product because it said maximum strength. Nope…creepy crawlies still on him. The fleas are annoying my baby. With corona virus, getting to her vet for prescription medication is not an option right now, so I was looking for a very strong AND safe/gentle shampoo to help ease her suffering. This product fills the bill. It smells herb-y and fresh, really delightful. Best part, fleas were gone. After racing through the house, drying off…she fell into a peaceful long nap.
