I've known about IAMS for 30+ years and has been around since 1946, it's small sized food bits and ingredients is the best dry dog food I've given my puppies to go into for years. The 44lbs bag feeds my 4 large dogs 2 times a day of 2 cups and lasts me about 28 days. Visit the Rams website for information to help choose your IAMS food needs based on your breed and size of dog. FYI – for new puppies, feed them small amounts through out the day for the tummy to adjust to the food and work your way into a 2 times a day feeding of 1 cup and then graduate into 2 cups+ a day as they get to 1 years old. Keep them hydrated with clean water at all times.

I've known about IAMS for 30+ years and has been around since 1946, it's small sized food bits and ingredients is the best dry dog food I've given my puppies to go into for years. The 44lbs bag feeds my 4 large dogs 2 times a day of 2 cups and lasts me about 28 days. Visit the Rams website for information to help choose your IAMS food needs based on your breed and size of dog. FYI – for new puppies, feed them small amounts through out the day for the tummy to adjust to the food and work your way into a 2 times a day feeding of 1 cup and then graduate into 2 cups+ a day as they get to 1 years old. It's hard to find a dry dog food that seems to satisfy our five year old Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix and fill him up, so we have tried numerous different brands of kibble. I stumbled upon this one after purchasing the puppy formula of the same brand for our new chihuahua puppy. We have now been Iams food for both of them for nearly a year now. Our big dog loves this food, and we like it because it gives him all the vitamins and minerals he needs to keep him healthy. It is more expensive than other brands, but we don't mind paying a little more to feed our fur-babies because they are not just animals, but family. We get the 15-20 pound bag to feed our big dog. My small dog was absolutely enticed by the packet of Iams from the minute it was delivered. I tried to slowly incorporate Iams into his diet but I found he was eating all the Iams and leaving his other food, so I switched him straight away. Overall my dog loves it and I noticed that he has been in a good mood and has stopped 90% of his bad habit… ( I say this because this weekend after a good two weeks without him marking in the house, he had urinated). I've noticed hes a lot faster aswell.. Lets say he has a lil bounce in his step. In the beginning I was concerned that he will not go back to his diet. But its been a hit from the start for him and I can see it has benefited him, even if it is just small things. I am happy to continue with IAms. I have a small dog and he will eat a cup full a day. (Food is always accessible in his bowl) I believe he was saving it until later as, I also found little pieces of food around the house and I have personally watched him taking one little piece and placing it in his favourite spots around the house (some he would eat, the others…me and the children most likely stepped on and complained lol). I cant give a complete 5* and this is based of – I am not a dog (haha) but honestly just the accessibility of IAms at a good price local to me. I felt I had to write an honest review here as I couldn't give the product 5 stars because of Iams alleged animal cruelty during testing. I love animals and cannot feed my dog a product that may have caused the suffering or death of other animals. It would have felt very immoral and dishonest of me if I did not include these concerns in review. I previously boycotted Iams due to a public investigation that was organised by Peta which exposed the alleged, horrendous treatment of animals in laboratories used by Iams. However, I read the report that Iams had agreed to stop using this facility and style of testing so I fed my dog the samples I received free from Influenster and she seemed content with the product as long as I mixed it with water and added some scraps or she got bored with the taste. This is the same for most dry food I give her. I did contact Peta directly to find out if Iams are still involved in inhumane animal testing and unfortunately they told me that Iams do still test on animals and gave me sources and links for further info. I have attached screenshots of my email from Peta for validation. Therefore I cannot recommend Iams until they stop allegedly testing animals in contract laboratories or carrying out any form of inhumane testing. This includes all species of animal. It’s always a good sign when my dog (a bouncy boxer) is excited for food. As soon as I opened the bag she started running in circles from the smell. When the bowl went down, her head went in. She absolutely loves it and finishes every last piece. It helps that it contains real chicken, one of her favourites. The packaging tells me everything I need to know about how good it is for her. I love that it has no fillers, artificial flavours and it’s wheat free. Boxers are prone to skin complaints so all this helps. It’s always on our shopping list when dog food is needed. IAMS have always been a trusted brand and this product is testament to why. I can’t recommend it highly enough. My dog is happy, healthy and continues to bounce!dawn.h

My senior bulldog is very picky with what he eats. I have been a Pedigree user for years but as he gets older I know he needs extra nutrients and minerals to help him live as long as possible. This particular brand was great. The pieces are ideal for older dogs with less teeth, made like mini pancakes he had no issue chomping them right down. I noticed he was very chipper when it came to feeding time each and everyday. He seems to be getting up more and moving around outside enjoying the fresh air and even running a bit with the younger dogs. When placed beside a bowl of his previous brand he went to this one and ate every piece. We will continue to use this and hope he loves us out a while longer.Roland70707

We did have her another “top” brand but she's started not wanting to really eat it. Being picky as she does. We tried her on Iams because it's another brand I completely trust have my girls wellbeing in mind. She loves it. Had to actually get her bowl that slows her eating down because she wanted to scarf the whole thing in minutes. Pros – trusted brand. Good price. Good ingredients. I decided to have my parents' Senior dogs try this. They are getting picky in their older age and completely turned their noses up at the last bag of dog food my parents decided to have them try. However, they seem to really like this food! I like that it is specially formulated for older dogs. One of my parents' dogs has always walked with a limp – he was a stray that wandered onto their property as a pup and they think he was injured by his former owners. I've known about IAMS for 30+ years and has been around since 1946, it's small sized food bits and ingredients is the best dry dog food I've given my puppies to go into for years. The 44lbs bag feeds my 4 large dogs 2 times a day of 2 cups and lasts me about 28 days. Visit the Rams website for information to help choose your IAMS food needs based on your breed and size of dog. FYI – for new puppies, feed them small amounts through out the day for the tummy to adjust to the food and work your way into a 2 times a day feeding of 1 cup and then graduate into 2 cups+ a day as they get to 1 years old. The price is nice and can sometimes find it on sale, I usually get it at Meijers or Kroger for $1.50 ( I think). I've always used Iams regular or small breed for my pug and she's always done excellent with it. So when we got our yellow lab puppy I wanted to stick with what I knew- and was so glad that I did! He's a large and growing boy but he's been doing great with it. No issues what so ever, eats normal and even shares with the pug when she's around. My small dog was absolutely enticed by the packet of Iams from the minute it was delivered. I tried to slowly incorporate Iams into his diet but I found he was eating all the Iams and leaving his other food, so I switched him straight away. Overall my dog loves it and I noticed that he has been in a good mood and has stopped 90% of his bad habit… ( I say this because this weekend after a good two weeks without him marking in the house, he had urinated). I've noticed hes a lot faster aswell.. Lets say he has a lil bounce in his step. In the beginning I was concerned that he will not go back to his diet. But its been a hit from the start for him and I can see it has benefited him, even if it is just small things. I am happy to continue with IAms. I have a small dog and he will eat a cup full a day. (Food is always accessible in his bowl) I believe he was saving it until later as, I also found little pieces of food around the house and I have personally watched him taking one little piece and placing it in his favourite spots around the house (some he would eat, the others…me and the children most likely stepped on and complained lol). I cant give a complete 5* and this is based of – I am not a dog (haha) but honestly just the accessibility of IAms at a good price local to me. I felt I had to write an honest review here as I couldn't give the product 5 stars because of Iams alleged animal cruelty during testing. I love animals and cannot feed my dog a product that may have caused the suffering or death of other animals. It would have felt very immoral and dishonest of me if I did not include these concerns in review. I previously boycotted Iams due to a public investigation that was organised by Peta which exposed the alleged, horrendous treatment of animals in laboratories used by Iams. However, I read the report that Iams had agreed to stop using this facility and style of testing so I fed my dog the samples I received free from Influenster and she seemed content with the product as long as I mixed it with water and added some scraps or she got bored with the taste. This is the same for most dry food I give her. I did contact Peta directly to find out if Iams are still involved in inhumane animal testing and unfortunately they told me that Iams do still test on animals and gave me sources and links for further info. I have attached screenshots of my email from Peta for validation. Therefore I cannot recommend Iams until they stop allegedly testing animals in contract laboratories or carrying out any form of inhumane testing. This includes all species of animal. It’s always a good sign when my dog (a bouncy boxer) is excited for food. As soon as I opened the bag she started running in circles from the smell. When the bowl went down, her head went in. She absolutely loves it and finishes every last piece. It helps that it contains real chicken, one of her favourites. The packaging tells me everything I need to know about how good it is for her. I love that it has no fillers, artificial flavours and it’s wheat free. Boxers are prone to skin complaints so all this helps. It’s always on our shopping list when dog food is needed. These baked treats satisfy my little toothless pup's desire for a crunchy treat, without choking him on a hard biscuit. They break easily for smaller portion sizes, and they crumble when he bites down on the cookie with his gums. Little gobbler is so excited when we give him his crunchy cookie and probably more excited that he can still eat crunchy treats. I haven't found any other hard dog biscuits that match this perfect balance of hard and crunchy in the box while breakable by hand, and evenly crumbly under pressure. My pup prefers the peanut butter flavor by far over the chicken for these baked treats. A little pricey compared to the national brand perhaps but, we can't use those anymore now that this aging pup is a toothless yapper. My dogs are very food motivated and although they may love a lot of different foods, it doesn’t mean all are good for them everyday! Iams Advanced Health Healthy Digestion doesn’t have artificial flavours or preservatives and boasts full body health. My dogs really enjoyed this food and they tend to enjoy anything with chicken in its ingredients! Some foods will effect the stomach of my one dog as she can experience some allergies. She loved this food and had no dietary issues with trying this food. Good to know this is a food that my dogs can enjoy and that it’s good for their overall health!santi.o

We often purchase dog food from Iams but this was our first time trying Iams Advanced Health – Healthy Digestion. Evie (our dog) was excited and sniffing around the bag the second I opened it. Evie seems to enjoy the flavour of the food and I am glad that this product comes with some additional benefits for her. I bought this because I have 2 dogs to feed. One of the dogs will eat anything we put in front of him and the other one is very picky. This is one of the few foods our picky dog will eat. Its made in the USA and uses natural ingredients. This are the two biggest concerns when I buy food for my dogs. It is a pureed food and scoops out of the can easily and mixes with dry food completely. This food smells like real food and has no chemical or artificial odors to it. It is minced finely and wont be a choking hazard for smaller dogs. When I find a high quality dog food that our picky eater will eat, I stick with it. Great product.Ed 41

I have three pit bulls and they eat everything and anything ! All three smelled this product, gave me a look before taking and they spit out, sadly I tried a couple more times and my poor boy broke out in hives in middle night and it attacked his whole body and these dogs live outside and enjoys mold and what not! I was shocked and so angry and sad because even now he still has a lot, I can not find a part in your application that would assist on a situation like this at all, we shouldn’t have to wait and luckily I have common sense since I can’t afford the $300 vet, if not better by tomorrow I will be forced! My two girls wait for his approval thank god! But very dissatisfied and will never try any of these brands again period! Also I’m searching for the warning label your company says should be on all bags and that’s a lie unless you make it a good warning I am not seeing it at all! Losing patients, even more mad I can not call my phone broken and I live by myself with no car now!!!! Just felt this needed to be said! Reach out please if any solutions you could supply.

My English Bulldog, Buster, loves these bones. I give him one every night before his bedtime. I make a big deal out of it; we have a little routine. About 10:00 p.m. he comes and sits in front of me to tell me it's time for his bone. I take him outside, then back in for his bone. Before I give it to him, I have him do three tricks he has learned: he rolls over, speaks, and salutes (his Daddy is retired Army). Then he gets his bone. He gets very excited at bone time. Once he's had his bone, then it's time for bed. He jumps up on his spot on the couch and goes to sleep. I always make sure I have plenty of these bones on hand; we never have a night without one!Debi H

These are my Siberian Husky Dempsey’s all time favorite biscuits. I can get them for a great price pretty much always on sale from Chewy’s website. If I need to buy them in store, I purchase from Petsmart use their price match offer. I purchase these religiously always have a bag on hand since these are pretty much his all time favorite treat. Since he’s a large dog, I go for the large biscuit size. But they also make a mini version which is great for puppies a small size if the large ones would be too big for your dog. Dempsey specifically prefers the Peanut Butter flavor, but they do make a handful of different flavors. Lastly, they also sell 6 pound boxes of these for a discounted price. You can get different sizes like the you can with the bags, and you can also get all one flavor or they offer a variety box which is typically a mix of 3 different flavors. I also introduced my boyfriend to this brand of biscuits now he avidly purchases them for his two Boxer’s. Definitely would highly recommend picking them up testing them out for your dog. They seem to have better ingredients than a lot of other treats on the market I definitely do my best to avoid giving my baby treats or food that have crap ingredients.morgan.h
