Momma dog has 8 babies. I have never had to deal with a big litter before, reading everything I could find on how to be a good poppa. I have read reviews here and there about dogs having a hard time dealing with the side effects of this dewormer, so definitely keep an eye on your dog after you administer this dewormer. I have a 3.5-month-old pup and luckily he had no issues with these. No side effects and this morning he pooped a solid amount of dead roundworms. My dogs won't eat any meds. With this dewormer, I had to cut it up into 4 pieces and stir it into some canned food. Since they eat dry food 29 days of the month, the canned food is a treat. It helps to push the dewormer pieces into a nugget in the wet food. Smart dogs avoid meds. Mush the wet food around the dewormer into a pattie. This is one of the best dewormers because it has 3 active ingredients. Most come with just one of the three. Make sure you repeat treatment…. 2-4 days in row, or weekly, and immediately clean the yard often, and remove the pooping pads/newspapers. Its too easy for the furbabies to stick their nose into some and get the itchy butt parasites again.donutz28

My 7 week old tri color bully has vomited in his third day at our house, I googled and saw it said it’s normal for pups to do this sometimes, no worries. Two days later early morning(6:50am EST) he vomited then about 10 minutes later he pooped out about 8 long worms, found they were Roundworms. I immediately went to Meijer and grabbed two boxes of this 7 Way De-Wormer for Small Dogs and gave him a tablet which he happily chomped down. He passed loads of dead worms in each stool that day(like twice). The next morning his belly wasn’t bloated anymore but he wouldn’t eat much but drank water. By the evening he was felling great and back running through the house, he passed about 3-4 live worms in 2 of his 3 stools that day, the third stool had no worms! On the third day there were no more worms in his stool but I gave him the other tablet because I saw a very good vet recommend one deworming tablet day one, a second on day three then again in two weeks. It’s day 6 and he’s been worm free for going on 3 days! It says not to use til 12 weeks on the box, however if your pup is over 6 lbs then I think its okay to use. My little girl is a pit and catahoula mix and shes only about 7-8 weeks old and she handled the dewormer very well. She passed a HUGE tapeworm 🤢 we decided to deworm her due to tape worm segments being passed every so often which is absolutely gross. It took a little over 24 hours for her to pass everything. This is the single most effective and affordable dewormer for dogs. I will recommend this dewormer to everyone and use it for any puppies that I have in the future. Liquid dewormer from the feed store has NOTHING on this stuff and my puppy wanted to eat more of the tablet so I guess it was good. Seriously, get this for your pet you will not regret it.Sara

These worked right away for my 12 pound 1 year old dog. It took overnight to see the results. I snuck it into a chewy treat before bedtime and he didn’t notice it at all since they are super small. After receiving only 1 of the 2 pills (give second pill 2-3 months later for lasting results), he didn’t have anymore worms coming out of his poop and randomly out of his butt. He was constipated for about two weeks to a month and I don’t know if it had anything to do with the worms or the pill but he’s never had that issue before. It was a pretty quick fix by switching out his food temporarily for soft/watery food. Do not think twice about getting it for them as it is life threatening to wait too long for a vet visit. Gave this to my one year old cat and within an hour she started vomiting, she rapidly got worse and started having tremors, brought her to the vet and they said she had ingested something toxic but couldn’t see anything obvious either in vomit or blood or urine, I informed them of the wormer and all he had to say was well we used to use that but don’t anymore, 5 days later she died. I was reluctant if this product would work. I was concerned if the kitties would notice the taste or not eat all their food on the plate at one sitting. I put just a tad into some Whipped Cream (it does the trick every time!) and every cat not only ate the medication, the plate was licked dry. Have not noticed any fine pieces of "rice" so know its done its job. If you are lucky – Purchase from the best Seller on ebay "MTCMAMA1" and the product will arrive already crushed finely into foil packets and ready to put into something yummy kitty cannot afford to miss. If your dog is on a raw diet, or you live on acreage exposed to any wildlife then your dogs will have Tapeworm. Mine did, surprise stool tests don’t test for Tapeworm. I saw signs of the empty sacks, they look like the top of large corn kernels (hominy corn). If you look up Equine Tapeworm. It looks nothing like cat tapeworm! Praziquantel is the only treatment. I’ve been faithfully treating my three with Panacure (very $$) alternating w Pyrantel Pamoate, thinking I was doing great. Nope neither touched Tapeworm! The Triple Wormer’s are a mix of Pyrantel Pamoate and Praziquantel it treats Round, Hook and Tapeworms. Two sizes small-med and med-large, and then there is a weight chart for how many. For my guys I buy the 12 count of the Med-Large because they need 3 chewable each. So every 3-4 weeks I go thru 9 chewables! Today Walmart has the best price on Duravet Med-Large 12 count $42. Amazon is over $50! Beginning 2022 it was $35. But with one product it treats all three very nasty parasites and sadly prior owners had horses, so I do have hookworms in my soil! If you’re on Equestrian property you do too! I highly recommend a TripleWormer. My GSD’s are very sensitive but don’t get tummy aches, or show any distress after worming. Their first stool isn’t pretty, and you should scoop quickly. As you order you’ll know what is a good price in this 40 year worst economy, Hope you realize how great we had it! The Panacure C divided into smaller doses and administered over a 4 week period (as instructed by my vet) cleared our Schmutz right up. Stray cats arrived suffering from Giardia infestation. Symptoms are high body temperature (you'll notice the cat on your lap seems much, much warmer than usual) their eyes have a sleepy, squinty look- the third eyelid partially visible is a red flag for Giardia, another big telltale symptom and the clincher is the horrible odoriferous diarrhea and stool. A puppy was pretty much dropped in my lap several days ago, her belly was SO bloated as she hadn't had any vet care prior. Before even getting her home I pondered the wormers at our local Petco, selected this one. On day 3 the worms came out, though her poor bloated belly was reduced after the first day. Will use this again if worming can't wait for the vet. Due to her weight we did have to weigh out the medicine (half a gram ='s 1/4 teaspoon), and you must have an accurate weight on the dog and an accurate measuring device for it to be as effective as it can be without giving too much. I went with the Safeguard brand because I've been using the livestock version for other animals with success. She ate it fine with cooked chicken/broth mixed into her kibble.Mandy R

This is awesome stuff! I put a small dab (size of a dried pea) in some jam. My 3 year old rat ate it before she could taste anything bad. It almost immediately got rid of her mites. She is elderly and now acting younger and much more spunky. The mites were really stressing out her body, but are now gone and she feels great. I like Panacur overall, as part of a regular, strategic deworming regime.Compared to other wormers, this one is fairly easy to administer, as the tube is small, and the paste isn't so thick that it impedes the plunger. I have had trouble with using a single hand to administer some wormers, as the plungers are too long for my hands, but this is not one of them.It isn't "specially" flavored, but my horse is very tolerant of occasional injustices, and didn't object any more or less than he does with any other oral administration. I have started cutting them in two and putting the half tablet in Greenies Pill Pockets but even then he sometimes spits out the half tablet after consuming the Pill Pocket!

Not sure how well it works yet but the directions are awful on this package. I like to be 100% sure on something before I do it. Nowhere on this package does it say how to give this to ur dog, do u give them both at the same time? I’m assuming so and that’s what I did but what if I was wrong? I have used this product for 10 years. I really don't like giving my dog pesticides or chemicals, but there are times when it is necessary. I have never had any bad side effects in either dog I have treated and they were both healthy, muscular and happy. I used the product twice a year.bjsbeau

This product is exactly the same as the ingredients in Panacur. It has been around forever, and works perfectly well for the worms it is intended to treat. After getting a recommendation from the vet, we used this on our dog with very successful results. Tapeworms require a different product. Obviously, your dog should be diagnosed at your vet's office. Then you will know WHAT type of worms your dog has, and what treatment is necessary. It goes without saying that you must READ the directions as well as get instructions from your vet. I find mixing the powder with canned food or a glob of yogurt is all you need to do to get your dog to gobble it up. Your dog should also be on a heartworm preventative, and most of these products will have the added benefit of preventing several other types of parasites. Overall I highly recommend, just check with your vet that it is what your dog needs.annahudson

Purchased PetArmor first when I physically saw worms in my dogs stool. Weighted my dog and he was 27lbs so correct wight for what I got.. 2 weeks later gave him the second dose just in case. 1 week later still had worms. Then Bought this Safe Guard 4 and gave the 3 packets for body weight like directed. Week after giving him that. Still saw worms. So I took him to the vet to see if maybe it was worms that these 2 dewormers just didn’t treat for. Nope, he had tapeworm and both this one and the Safe Guard 4 supposedly treat for tapeworm. Also, before I started all of this I did treat my home and yard for fleas and our dog so he shouldn’t have kept getting tapeworm from fleas. Vet said his flea treatment was working so the dewormers from Walmart just don’t work at all. Don’t waste your money and just take your pet to the vet.Natalie
