Love the jacket but it did not fit. We returned it to exchange it for a bigger size. We can't wait to receive it. Bought a medium for my Chihuahua and a large pink for my spaniel. All within the guidelines of the size chart. Previously bought 2 gooby winter parkas. They fit M and L, but were on the small side. Seeing these with expandable knit on the underside seemed a good idea to give both pups a little more room. The Medium is hamster sized (a bit of a exaggeration, but you get the point). The large barely fits the Chihuahua, who is 10 pounds. The small needs to be returned, always a bother, worse yet we do not have second coats in the very cold New England winter. Terrible.Lillian H

This sweatshirt is so cute! I got it for my 12 year old terrier mix who is low to the ground but big in the chest – roughly 27lbs. We went for extra large. It fit loose and comfy the way a sweatshirt feels best. He likes to wear them inside like I do for extra warmth in winter. It's adorable. So this is SUPER cute, nice and soft and well made, however it's either poorly designed or I have a defective one. I bought a small for my 12# chihuaha. It litterally hurt him to put it on. Bought my 5lb toy poodle one in small. Loved the idea of the fleece vest with a ring to attach a leash so you don’t have to put a harness over it. However, the sizing is weird. The leg and neck openings are very big and the chest fit is snug causing it to bunch and gap. It runs long also, but I don’t mind that. I’ll keep it, but I am disappointed in the fit. The 2 stretch fleece vests by Gooby without the leash ring that I purchased in small fit my dog perfectly. I’ll stick with those, the sizing is accurate.Jody J
I have bought these vests in multiple colors over the past two years (have 3 rescue dogs). They are warm, fit well and do not drag on the ground, have a sturdy loop to attach a leash, and wash up very well and can be put in the dryer. I wish they would make even more colors than they do! XL fits the average cocker spaniel up to 25 lbs. while Large fits a small cocker up to 17 lbs. So for anyone with a truly large dog, these sizes will not fit. They also go on the dog very easy and stay in place. There is another variant with a hood as well.1eshaness
