With a larger dog have a helper to keep the dog from backing away from the prick of the needle. Last year my husband and I gave our 3 adult dogs the Spectra 9. They hadn't gotten the 9-way yet so we had to give the booster 30 days later. This was our first time giving shots. No problem after watching videos online and I called Durvet to confirm need for booster. Our dogs are generally jumpy, but this was quick & easy maybe because they were less nervous with us. They are now due for the vaccine and since they've already gotten the 9-way last time they will only need one shot this time. Rememer, if you are increasing/changing dosing it may need a booster. Easy to use. 4 of the 5 shots I bought were great. I noticed a air pressure thing in the bottles but I figured out how to work with it and get the vaccine liquid all out. The only issue I had really was on the 5th shot the needle was lose and I didn't notice. It popped off after it was in my dog's skin from the pressure of the liquid. All the liquid poured out and I had to pull the needle tip out of my dog. She didn't care much but I'll have to get her a new shot to get her up to date, but her puppies all got thier shots. This was prescribed by my vet and after a month and a half, so far so good. I have a 13yr old Aussie female and other than feeling a little pookie on the medication days, she is bouncy as ever. She was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma in the throat and the cancer was making its way down her throat. Palladia has stalled the growth as far as we can tell. First off, this product was shipped to me with every precaution against seepage, spillage or the bottle leaking (see photos). I order a lot online and was very impressed at how the product was packed for shipment. The bottle was encased in a bubble, sealed pack that I had to cut open with scissors to access the 32 ounce bottle. This product contains 1600mg of Glucosamine Hcl, 1200 MG Chondroitin Sulfate and undisclosed amount of HA (Hyaluronic Acid). The formula also contains aloe vera juice, citric acid, potassium sorbate, vegetable glycerin, Stevia and water. There are some cautions such as pregnant or animals intended for breeding that safe use hasn't been proven so read the caution section carefully. For my small dog, the directions stated to shake the product well, and measure out two teaspoons; there is a weight chart to indicate what dosage you should use according to your pet's weight. (Refrigerate after opening the product). I mixed the formula in with my dog's food, and she didn't seem to turn her nose up at her food, she is a very picky eater. She finished her food with no issue each time I added the liquid which was daily. I haven't used this for very long but after a few days, she seems to be moving with more ease. I will continue to give her this supplement because I believe just like humans, as our pet's age their joints begin to deteriorate and anything I can do to lessen her pain as she ages, I'm all for.Paige

This supplement is easy to administer, I just mix it in my dogs dry food. She did not seem to like the taste clean, but it mixed into the food really well. I'm hoping great improves very little ones. Puppies under 16 weeks old only need Distemper/Parvo immunizations, they usually have antibodies from their ma ma up to 12-16 weeks. Most shots at veterinarians office are 5 way or 7 way, which means it has 5-7 different kinds of viruses that go into that little pup at 6 to 8 weeks old, it's a lot for the guy to metabolize. Depending on the environment the pup is in, they don't need all of that, and if they have a reaction, it could be from any or all of them together. It is very hard to prove, when the little guy gets sick, that it was from his immunization shot, and most of the time it's not reported at all. I know the other reviewer was not happy with the dosage but I like to start my puppies off early with vaccines at around 5-6 weeks. If you are going to vaccinate older puppies or adults I recommend you buy the Nobivac Intra-Trac 3 which has the full 1 ml dosage you are looking for.
