I was skeptical about purchasing this pet brush even after reading the reviews. However I said to myself that $7.99 isn't that big of a loss if it doesn't do what it said it would. Well for once I was proven wrong and this simple lil rubber brush worked on my Pity's dog hair in my car. I've spent hours with duct tape/masking tape just trying to remove as much of her hair from my carpet with little success. Vacuuming did very little as well. I was super excited to try this, as we have SEVEN animals in our home. That excitement quickly faded while unboxing this. It's poorly made. The battery compartment was hard to take out and put back in, after installing the batteries. The piece on the handle that should slide out to hang it, didn't want to come out and broke off when I used tweezers to pull it out. I followed the instructions exactly as written with a quick back and forth motion and all it did was pick up a few dust particles. Not a single strand of fur was lifted off any of the five different surfaces I tried it on. When I pushed the button to release the compartment to empty the contents, it didn't want to close back properly. The light is okay but not a huge loss if It doesn't work or the batteries die. It only makes a difference if you need to use it in a dark room, but it's not even that bright. I found zero benefits to using this. It was a total waste of time.AMOmomOF3
With a lot of fur-babies, I was really excited to get this. It's very cheap plastic. Like other reviewers, I couldn't understand the necessity of the batteries or the light and I still don't. I thought perhaps the roller rolls but it doesn't or at least mine doesn't. I had to scrape off the fur from the lint brush or it fell on the floor. It certainly didn't go inside the collector area as it shows on the instructions. One portion of the brush kept falling out of the roller and this was on the first attempt at using it on a simple side chair. In addition to that, I found my thumb kept naturally going to where the on/off button in a grip and it would turn it off. This is something you should be able to purchase at a dollar store. As my title says it does technically work, but it's not a wow and I didn't find it saved me any time over a regular roller brush or even a bathroom squeegee which I have used in the past for this type of thing. If I could give this product more stars, I would. I have two cats, a short hair and a long hair. The shedding is so bad that a regular vacuum doesn’t do the job. I was skeptical at first about this Shed Sweeper ,by Kurgo. We have three dogs and a cat , so we are constantly vacuuming and Lint rolling our floors and couches , yet we never quite get all the hair picked up. My wife is a clean freak ( in a good way), and is always trying to find the perfect tool to make cleaning easier. This Shed Sweeper is amazing! We used it on the carpet and sofas after we vacuumed and were able to pull up quite a bit of hair and lint . We love this thing! It even fluffed the carpets and made them look so much better . We tried using it on our pets too, but it didnt work as well for that. Honesty, we wouldn't have used it that way anyway. We are very satisfied with this and highly recommend it!!MrBigE
I received this Shed Sweeper several weeks ago and am very impressed with how it works. It is made of very sturdy but slightly flexible plastic. I tried it on the arm of my couch (which is where my dog loves to lay her head) and was amazed at the dog hair it had on it. I love that it does not damage the fabric of my couch. Works great for me. I have 2 dogs, a blue doberman and a mix that is pitbull, australian and german shepherd. She sheds hair like crazy! I have 2 car covers on my back seat with towels underneath. Her hair gets EVERYWHERE. Vacuuming my car every other day was a killer. I am so glad i took a chance on buying this. It cleaned all the seats in my car, the carpet and both of the covers. I had one of these previous different brand that worked so great, unfortunately this one didn’t work as well for removing pet hair. It couldn’t seem to actually pull it all off the fabric, some would be able to be pushed into a pile and I could pick it off with my fingers. But it never actually went into the roller to be removed out the back like it is supposed to. The smaller fur it didn’t really help with too much.Heather
While it does do an okay job its no different from the one my grandmother had 30 years ago from finger hut for a fraction of the cost. Not impressed by it honestly just when it begins to pick up the rubber blades prevent a long roll from being picked up. I like this roller very much. I use it more on car seats and carpet then anywhere else. I have a black lab and a huskie mix. Both dogs travel with when I make trips and one of the trips I make is 230 miles one way. I usually take part of the seats out to give them more room so they get hair in the carpet. Habe mir etwas mehr für den Preis vorgestellt. Er funktioniert soweit nur geht leider auch die Klappe (wo man die Haare raus nimmt) beim reinigen ständig auf. Ansonsten erfüllt er so wie günstigere Hersteller seinen Zweck. Nur, dass er stabiler und schwerer ist, ist ein Pluspunkt mehr.

Buy it. Just do it, if you’re looking at this review it’s because your dog is shedding and you’re tired of cleaning up the fur. It’s worth it. I used two other deshedding devices immediately before trying this for the first time and it removed PILES of loose fur that the other de shedders left behind. It works so well beyond the competition that there is truly no comparison. It is a hefty price tag, but worth the investment. This deshedding tool has become my absolute favorite! The Furminator is a must-have for me. I have a German Shepherd, and I swear that my house, furniture, and clothes have more hair on them than she does. She sheds daily, but twice a year, she "blows" her undercoat. The fuminator has been a life-saver for me. Since I have started using this on my girl, her shedding has cut way down. I use this on her 2 or 3 times a week normally, but during the coat blowing I use it pretty much daily. It really get down into her undercoat and grabs hold of all that loose hair. My girl doesn't mind me using this on her either. Most undercoat tools seem to hurt her, but not this one…she actually seems to enjoy this one. OMG TAKE MY MONEY! I had the original furminator years ago. I now have a Pomsky. I have to brush him every day otherwise its a fur storm in the house. I really like the rubber grip of the handle and that it doesn't slip when brushing the cats fur. My cat didn't squirm when getting brushed and was thoroughly enjoying it. When you push the fur releaser to get rid of the fur, you have to continually keep pushing it to get it to release. But eventually it will come out when you shake the fur loose.Karkey
When I first saw ads for the brush, I wondered if it would be any different that the many I have used over the years. It is truly the best brush I could use on my dogs very stiff fur. Its not that he sheds so much, its that there is so much of him. You can brush it or sweep it. It is al most like a mini clipping.
