Reviews:
I have been using these large Permate dog houses to house my Nigerian Dwarf goats for many years. They have made "affordable housing" for my goats. I will say that my bucks (boys) are much harder on the houses than the does (girls). Both genders jump on top, but the bucks crack the rain shield by jumping on top of the houses. This happens after a while, not right away. I don't blame the company that makes these because they are intended for dogs, not goats that love to climb! I do wish the tops would be stronger to prevent this problem from happening. Another area to improve design would be for the top to somehow lock on to the base. When my Great Pyrenees (GP) dog goes inside to lay down, the lid can lift/tilt off. The large size is not big enough for a GP. The price keeps going up, and I'm not pleased with having to pay more. I wait until the neighbor club coupon comes out to buy any needed replacement houses. Over the years I've bought countless Permate Large dog houses, so I know these pretty well! My Lab and Australian Shepherd love these large Petmate houses too.Farmer Johns
Looks very nice and hardy but it floods when it rains, I don't know how but the water gets inside and it is too much water. I put a crate pad inside for my outdoor cat to stay warm and went to check on my cat a few hours later after it rained, and the pad was soaking wet not to mention the house was full of water more water than what was outside . Walmart was very helpfulNA
The dog house comes in two parts – top and bottom. They do not snap together; the top merely sits on the bottom. No hardware is provided to attach the two and even if there was there are no holes through which one would thread screws or bolts (or whatever) to keep the dog house together. I use these for my goats because these houses are inexpensive but the goats knowingly and regularly have fun pushing up on the exit/entrance hole to "break" the house into two pieces. Yes, I laugh at their antics but I still plan to drill holes and use nuts/bolts to keep the top and bottom together.L McGaffey
2. Petmate 25944 Indigo Dog House, Extra Large
Product Details:
This is a top-of-the line igloo shaped doghouse featuring an extended, offset doorway for rain resistance and wind protection. made with structural foam that acts as insulation to keep your dog cool in the summer and warm in the winter. the heavy duty construction will help keep your pet protected from outdoor elements and roof ventilation allows for continual air flow. indigo is made with microban, an antimicrobial to fight the growth of stain and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. measures 51.5 x 39.3 x 30 inches.
Reviews:
It's not extra large, that's for sure. It's a large. My two Berner males at 94-lbs and 120-lbs don't go in because they can barely turn around in it. Nor my 88-lb Pyrenees. The material itself is great. But isn't the point that the dog can get in/out of it so they use it? My smaller 72-lb female uses her Ex-Lg. So is it really the size a medium dog should use? I spent $$ for 5 Extra Lg and 1 dog uses it. Not a happy camper.SCloudcroft
I own 6 of these quality XL dog houses for my Great Pyrenees dog, as well as, my pygmy goats. My goats actually prefer them to there fully enclosed barn. MINNESOTA Winter or Summer, they love to cuddle sometimes 2-3 per igloo. I have never needed to use the flap doors. I think the ventilation is more important. As a bonus they are a great climbing structure, even my guardian dog can be found balancing on top to get a better view of potential predators in the distance. One temporary drawback is the base can be difficult to disassemble from the top, for the first few cleanings. But a large screw drivers works well to pry them apart and they "break in" quite quickly. As my herd grows, I will keep adding these amazing shelters. Thanks Petmate!
Purchased a second XL house for our two Great Pyrenees because they no longer fit in one together. Our original is over 15 years old and is in great shape. Love the new design with the slight angle that provides more space and blocks the wind. Durable and strong material, yet still lightweight and easy to move.S Ringo

I love this. In fact, I bought a 2nd unit as a backup for when my current one dies. However, I learned I can't really use the "Grill" function for meat with the little guide that came with it. Tried an expensive cut of beef steak as first meat following the guide. Came out like a shrunken, dried up hockey puck. Use it mainly for air frying and cooking bacon on the single roasting rack. That alone makes it worth the $ spent. But I tried again last night with boneless pork loin chops, cut the suggested (lowest) cooking time in THIRD, and it still came out puck-like. At least we were able to cut and chew it. Would have not been possible had I went the whole time. ONLY thing I use the grilling function for now is charring / blistering my poblano peppers for stuffing and air frying afterwards. I don't even know how the writers of these directions can miss it by so much. Anyway, one of our fave meals is "re-roasted rotisserie chicken." Split in half, brush all surfaces with avocado oil, season each half according to person's taste (spicy, lemon pepper, etc), and "re-roast" on air fry at 300 for 20 minutes, kick up to 350 and go another 3-5 minutes and man, it's awesome!MO low carb cook
Bought this on 11/05/22, Got it by 11/08/22 Has been awesome, I've used it at least once a day. However it's 11/27/22 now and the fan is unbalancing (likely from poor placement of the fan on the lid that can be moved while fan is rotating, and shifting the axis) Fan should be in a fixed location unable to be tilted while rotating. It's now rattling as it's off-balance now. I'm hard of hearing so noticing the sound it's suddenly making along with the vibrations. It's disheartening. I'm also a certified electronic tech with mechatronics background. The design is poorly done, but not RC Willey's fault. It's a manufacturer defect. It happens because the fan is rotating still after it preheats, and wants you to add the food. When you lift the lid while the fan is rotating on the Vertical Axis, and suddenly change that, it exerts force against the shaft and bearings because the Rotating Fan does Not want to change from Horizontal to Vertical. Anyways sorry for the science lesson, hope this helps people understand what can cause this. Open the lid VERY slowly and change the rotation of the Axis SLOWLY, will help it last longer. However I was not Mistreating mine by jerking it open. I worried that this would be a problem in time… I had hoped for a much longer run. (It's still working just rattling as it tries to go up to speed for about 30 seconds, then slows down from rattling, then speeds up again and rattles….until it's done cooking)Caleb
This is the most handy small appliance I own. I've had this for almost a year. We mainly use the grill function, but also the air fryer from time to time. We do not have a covered deck, so when the weather is bad we can still grill without being out in the elements and we don't have to worry about smoke. I will say however, I will not be cooking steaks on this again. If you expect the same results when cooking steak as you would on an outdoor grill, you will be sorely disappointed. I assumed that going into it, but just wanted to experiment. Everything else I've tried has turned out very well. Chicken, burgers, salmon… The instruction manual that comes with it is helpful, but not completely accurate due to the sizing of meat. I mainly rely on the temps from the manual and then estimate the time. Also, cleanup is mostly a breeze. All attachments inside are dishwasher safe. But…if you like BBQ chicken (I REALLY DO), you will spend a little extra time scraping stuck on bbq sauce. That mess is sticky. Overall, I love this product, would recommend and would buy again.KScott

Your kiddo's doll will have a blast when you bring home this our generation deluxe dog house set. this doll dog house is the perfect size for you kiddo's six-inch pup ? it comes with a food bowl, collar and toys to make the perfect spot for your doll's pup. a food and water bowl will make sure that their pup never goes hungry, and a variety of toys will help their doll keep their puppy entertained. this our generation dog house set adds an extra dose of imaginative fun to their playtime.
Reviews:
I love how you get to write your doll's pet's name on the calk part, which makes it very realist compared to a real doghouse. The food and water bowl part is really cute and I love how it comes with a collar, in case you loose a collar for the pet. I love the balls and chew toys and most of all the dog bone, which is really cute and very realistic, once again. The rope toy is cute, too. I also like the bed a lot, though small, I love how colorful it is. I love the house itself, even though it's pretty small for all the things that the set comes with. I also like how the roof opens when in use. However, my absolute favorite part is the newspaper, because it's very creative and funny.rattlesnake547
From the time we opened this until bed time, my daughter didn’t stop playing with this. She even took it outside with her to play with. It was fun for her to use this with her dogs, and other little animal toys she had. Some pieces are on the smaller side so keep this in mind when buying for younger kids! It’s overall a great, well made toy that really adds more fun to some regular toys you may have!lseegs
This dog house is much larger than I thought and for the price totally worth it! OG has added some great thoughtful accessories to this dog house; including the newspaper. I like that you can open the one flap for easier play. This is very helpful for children with younger siblings that want to join in on the play. They can easily access the puppies being placed inside and enjoy the fun. Be careful with younger children as many of the puppy items are small and could be a choking hazard for the hand to mouth little ones. This house can go with any animal set from OG or AG and especially a dollhouse. Great job OG!FunWithAGDolls

This is my second Pit Boss. The first one was the Tailgater model and I've had it for several years and used the heck out of it. It still works but seems like the auger motor was starting to struggle to keep up when I turned the heat up high. I believe it can be fixed, but I decided to get a new one and give the old one to someone who wants to try and get it back in shape. The new Lexington is very heavy duty and well built. It has quite a bit more grill space and much much more capacity in the pellet hopper (15 lbs). The overall size is a little bit bigger than the Tailgater but only a little. I also like the fact that the Lexington has the firebox in the middle of the grill rather than on the left side like the Tailgater. I've used the new Lexington 3 times now and found that it heats up quickly and cooks like a dream. I hope it lasts as long as my Tailgater!Phillip
This Pit Boss and Walmart Customer Service, garbage. The box arrived with a huge hole in it and it was ripped up. I put it together, did an initial burn, all went well it seemed. Fired up per instructions, set temp to 225, for ribs. The temp never registered over 225, however, apparently the pellets never stopped pushing out and the whole inside caught on fire, it got so hot the paint bubbled and peeled. I called Walmart, they gave a return label but then stated I needed to put the over 100lb grill back into the box to return it, as I stated above, the box was ripped, I told Walmart this and asked if I could just bring it back to the store, was told no, just dispute the charge on your visa in order to get your return. I disputed the charge (as suggested by Walmart's Customer Service Department) it took Walmart over two months to reply, mean time the cut off to return was long gone. Walmart denied the dispute. Now I am stuck with a non functional, pellet grill with peeled paint. Walmart is about as useful as this grill!!! Side note: Pit Boss does not warranty paint and they will not replace Walmart's grills but they will send out repair parts, now I get to try to repair a brand new grill, if that doesn't work I will just throw this NEW non functional grill on the garbage pile.BestMema
I have made fun of these porch ovens for years. I’ve been using charcoal and logs my whole 34 years of life and I gotta say, these little pellet grills are on point. The temp control without baby sitting it is amazing. First thing I cooked was some ribs at 200-225 and honestly, the whole time I was thinking it was broke because I rarely saw smoke, but boy was I wrong. It had the nicest smoke ring ever and the flavor was just as good as charcoal and logs. Not having to baby sit it and get the flavor is everything. I also store mine inside, it’s electric so storing it in the elements is probably why people are having electronics issues. Shocker right? Lol another thing to note is pellets are substantially cheaper than charcoal and logs. Last thing, when you first start it up, yes, it’s supposed to sound like that. First time I started it up I thought I was about to set it on fire but I guess that’s just how it sounds, I’m used to it now. End of the day if you’re a old school charcoal/log guy, this thing is gonna change your mind. Buy it now.SquirrelHunter3000

Reviews:
These are nice dog houses. They are light weight & don't look like they are very warm, but they actually do a good job, my border collies like these a lot. The extra neck or tunnel entrance is nice to give them some extra protection and privacy. They stand up pretty well to puppies chewing on them to. I recommend this dog house.Iowafarmgal
I bought my first about 20 years ago, then shortly after bought another. My dogs passed, so I gave them to a neighbor, which still has them in use. I recently got a medium breed puppy, so I went and got another since I had such good service out of the first two. I would highly recommend to anyone with a pet outside. We get some snow where I live and my dogs always stayed warm and dry.
I mistakenly bought the Large doghouse for dogs up to 90 lbs. But my 5 month old coonhound was too large for it. I returned it and ordered the X-large doghouse and it is the right size. Unfortunately, the doghouse was broken in two places, probably due to the way you ship. These doghouses are delivered without any protection and will crack or break when sliding into anything. I will have to repair it to hold it together since I don't trust you are able to send another one without the same issues.Daniel

Reviews:
It took me several months and a lot of research before I bought the Cuisinart Airfryer Toaster Oven. We’re a two person family, pretty much cook meals from scratch and don’t eat a lot of fried food. I also don’t embrace every fad appliance that comes along and was hesitant to give up counter space for an appliance I’d only use occasionally, like an air fryer. But I keep rolls, bagels and French bread in the freezer and every time I turned on the oven to pre-heat so I could thaw and heat my bread to crispy goodness, I thought about a toaster oven. Same with the occasional frozen french fries, taquitos and egg rolls I’d fix. There were more expensive and cheaper ovens out there but I was sold by the easy to clean interior and exterior of this oven and the Cuisinart reputation. The oven is easy to use, very quiet and I love how quickly I can have warm, crispy bagels or fresh pita bread pizzas or a roast chicken breast. Half the time of my regular oven. I imagine I’ll branch out and experiment with other foods this winter but so far, the time savings and cool kitchen has me glad I finally made this purchase. My only negative comment so far is the oven light. It goes off with the timer or when you open the door and there is no option to turn it on to see to take your food out. Not a smart decision.Kari W.
I purchased this Airfryer Toaster Oven with Grill as a replacement for a toaster oven I had used for several years. While I was looking for a toaster oven with air fryer the grill has been my favorite feature and a nice bonus. This smaller oven is easy to use and does not take up a large amount of counter space. It heats up very fast and cooks food evenly. All the features work well. The crumb tray is easy to remove and clean. I agree with other reviews that the baking pan/drip tray is a bit difficult to clean. I recommend lining the tray with aluminum foil when using as a drip pan. I, also, find that the grill plate is easy to clean when sprayed with Pam before using. If you are looking for a fast, efficient, and compact counter top oven with multiple features I highly recommend this product! Enjoy!Rocketman
Since buying the Cuisinart AirFryer Toaster Oven, I have really enjoyed the air fry and broil functions. I use it for everything from heating up frozen burritos to roasting fresh vegetables. Unfortunately, one thing I can't do is use it as a toaster, since the toaster function on my unit was already not working when I unpacked it from it's box. Specifically, what I like about this item is: – It's very quiet when it is in use. – It heats up quickly. – It's large enough that I can cook an entire meal in it for myself, but still fits on the countertop. What I don't like about it:: -The controls feel extremely cheap. Plastic knobs and a mechanical bell on the timer. It's like being in the 60's again! – The toaster function hasn't worked since I bought it. -When I used it the first time, my whole house smelled like burning plastic. I would recommend running it at a high temperature for 30-45 minutes before the first use, to let any chemicals burn off before actually putting any food in it.Ruddy M

I was looking to replace my gas grill and my electric smoker as both were aging and took up a fair amount of space on the porch. Having no experience with pellet smokers, i wasn't sure about this route but I'm quite happy with this as the solution. Hopefully someone finds this helpful in the same boat. I've used this about 5 times now as a smoker including sausage, whole chickens, ribs, pork but and burnt ends. At this point i dont think I could have done better for $400. Plenty of space on the racks, though if you are smoking a bigger pork butt or turkey, the top rack has to come out. Temp control has a little more variance than a cabinet style chip or offset lump smoker, but it self corrects quick enough. I like to set it at 225, but found the temp got as high as 250 for a period of a couple minutes after a pellet burn. Not enough to over cook anything, but does accelerate cooking time just a bit. About a 20 degree variation between the gauge and the electronic probe, so probably will want to keep an eye on that when using it as a grill only. Internal meat probe(2 included) seems reliable. Pellet box is ample and is probably enough to run about 15 hours without running too low in a medim to high smoke setting. 8 different smoke settings that seem to cover the appropriate range between just enough pellets to provide heating fuel all the way to an excessive amount of smoke for fish or chicken. Overall construction seems solid, so I'm expecting at least 5 years out of this. We typically use the grill or smoker at least twice a month year round in Florida and keep it under a covered porch when not in use. Assembly instructions could have been much better, and some questionable packaging choices in my opinion made it more difficult which is the reason i went with 4 stars instead of 5.richard
First let me say this is my first pellet grill. so i was learning everything new. set up was 98% a 1 man job. needed assistance putting the barrel on the frame. went to5 really easily. just beware of the smaller bolts. they strip SUPER EASILY. with minimal force. aside from that pittboss walks you through first start up procedures. burn off. smoking set up. and initial warm up. cooked some pork loin on it came out amazing. got a nice sear on it from the flame broil vent. temps held steady and constant the whole time. then i went for my first smoke on it. 13 hour 14lbs smoked brisket. even with the tempuratures starting in the morning in the upper 40's and climbing to the low 70's it held constant steady temperature's. even when it dropped temperature fast and started to raintook less than 3 minutes for it to adjust back to temp. and got a very nice smoke ring on the meat. very user friendly and simple start up and run. i filled the hopper for my smoke run. maybe used 1-2 inches of pellets. max. so very efficient without using a lot of pellets. all in all very happy with it. looking forward to more smoking sessions.Adriana
I have had this grill for just over a year and I still love cooking/smoking on it when I get the chance! After this time I have come up with a list of pros and cons (very few cons) Pros: – Sturdy/durable construction, there is weight and a solidness to the design that makes it feel worth the hard earned money I spent on it. – consistent cooks every time. Whenever i use this grill I know where to put my foods to get the best cook. Like all smokers this grill runs hot the closer to the stack that you get. – multiple probs, I have smoked multiple pork butts on here at the same time and having two built in probs with constant readings have been a game changer. – the grease drip has a good channel to flow along and large bucket makes cleanup easy(recommend disposable inserts) – this grill gets to temperature fairly quickly and I live in a colder climate Cons: (mostly nitpicking) – curved shield makes placing a small pan of water for smoking pretty impossible – manual sear plate, forces me to use tongs or spatula to open/close over flame during cook – with the digital temperature read out there really isnt a need for a manual dial in the middle – emptying pellets can be a hassle so learning correct amount for cook time is vital – smoke leaks out of the sides, doesnt always make it to the chimney Overall: I have loved using this grill and will continue to use it as my main work horse! There are many more pros I could list but Im running out of characters I can type! I have recently been looking at the pro series and like the improvements made to the new systems. I would definitely recommend this grill for the price and would even push the pro series for those able to spend a little more.Mike

For the price, I guess it's ok. Very thin aluminum, maybe I overlooked the guage in the specs. I haven't used it yet but judging from the thickness of the tabs holding the racks, I don't see a way to put any meat on there that would weigh more than a few pounds. For smaller pieces, it will probably work ok. Turkeys are out of the question along with bigger meats (venison roasts, ribs, etc). The small pan used for the wood must use small chips/pellets. I have many apple trees and have 2 huge burlap sacks full of cut apple wood for smoking. No way to use it in this smoker. But I will keep it and will use it, it's just not quite what I wanted. So I'm building my own aluminum smoker out of heavier weight metal and a large wood burning box on the bottom. Like I said, I haven't used it yet but these are my first observations. The good thing is: It's aluminum and should never rust.c-moisee
The unit caught on fire after first use! I don't understand why the unit caught on fire but fortunately I was close by monitoring the smoking process and noticed dark smoke coming from the unit and when I checked the unit there were flames blazing inside. It burned the meat inside to a crisp! The inside of the box was severely burned from the fire in the box. I have owned one of these units for many years in the past and didn't experience this type of issue. Now, I'm anxious regarding using these Big Chief Smokers. This could've been a very dangerous and costly manner had I not been monitoring the smoking process. I had to dump water onto the top of the and allow the water to drain down to where the fire was burning to extinguish the fire. If, I had taken the front cover off I'm certain the oxygen in the air would've carried the fire!JJ
I like it as I had one before. I just wish the wire on the racks were a little closer together. Other than that works great . I have been smoking peppers and will do my jerky in a few days. What I like is is is a cool smoke. Does not cook the meat but dries it and the same for the peppers. I would definitly recommend it for all smoking where you do not want to cook the productEric

Do yourself and don’t buy this grill or any traeger product. Look elsewhere for higher quality less known brands. I wish I would have. My grill shuts off mid cook all the time deliver LER errors. Troubleshoot with traeger, Facebook, YouTube Reddit…. Tons of people with same issue. Smoke a pork butt or brisket overnight? Want to run an errand for an hour? Good luck. Your traeger will be similar to a 2 year old. You can’t leave it alone or take your eye off it or next thing you know it will shut off and your $100 piece of meat will be spoiled. Try to exchange it and upgrade for one with wifire? Traeger won’t stand by their product and you’ll be in a never ending rotation of replacement parts. Traegers are the Kias of the smoker world. Good luck.
I am no grill master pro which is exactly why I love this Traeger. It is so super easy to use, even a novice can make fantastic, tasty meals with it. This is where I land. The Traeger heats evenly though it does take quite some time to come up to temperature. The aroma of everything on this grill is so phenomenal that the neighbors come over to see what's for dinner at my house. I've been able to perfectly grill fish, steaks, chicken and ribs like I've been doing this all of my life. I would highly recommend. For sure, get yourself a Traeger cover too.longtallmamma
I purchased this for myself as a birthday gift about a year ago. Great quality and pretty much does as described. As with others, I have occasionally had temperature fluctuations and one incident of pellets burnt in the auger at the fire box. After doing my research and following instructions provided by Traeger, I discovered that the pellets that were left in the hopper and auger had adsorbed just a touch of the ambient humidity during a rare damp period (I live in the SW desert). I replaced the pellets and everything works very well. I use the grill cover religiously and leave as few pellets as possible in the hopper/auger as a pop-up storm during the monsoon season could be an issue. I love the flavor blends in the Traeger pellets and have smoked/grilled just about every kind of meat, poultry, and fish as well as select veggies. The cleanup can be a bit of a pain with needing to shop vac out the residue after each use but overall love this product.Kirsten V

Ninja seems to keep on coming out with very versatile indoor cooking appliances and this Foodi Grill continues that trend with great indoor grilling results along with the ability to air fry, roast, bake, as well as dehydrate. I used the Foodi Grill for grilling some steaks as well as some salmon and both turned out quite well for not being a traditional outdoor grill. During the winter months when I don’t want to step outside in the snow, this will definitely fit the bill for getting good grilling results without the need for a traditional grill. I can also see this being useful for someone in an apartment or just for anyone that doesn’t have a full-on outdoor grill. What I like about the grilling (and other cooking methods) is that you can actually put food on while frozen and with additional cook time, it can both thaw and cook the meat without making the meat turn out chewy. It seems like Ninja always thinks about how a product can be used in many ways and this Foodi Grill is the same where it’s very versatile in the sense that it can also double as an air-fryer, you can roast stuff like vegetables in here, there’s also a baking function, and you can also dehydrate. They emphasize a lot in the instructions to use an oil with a high smoke point and this is definitely important to keep smoke to a minimum while grilling indoors. Coconut oil worked well for me but I would not suggest using butter. They make it very clear that it’s not recommended and that’s certainly the case as I attempted to use butter with a steak and the smoke, although not terrible, was much more than coconut oil. You’ll have to stick with the oils they recommend such as canola, coconut, avocado, vegetable, and grapeseed oils. Clean up is a pretty easy process as well for the most part where nearly everything that could get oily is removable as well as dishwasher safe. They include a cleaning brush for the grill grate for any food remnants and also found that useful for the air fryer crisper basket. You can also remove the splatter shield that’s mounted on the lid but I did find a little portion around the splatter shield that you have to make sure to wipe down after use.gwtbike
After spending about 4 days with this product, I can honestly say that I will be using this product for a very long time. The build quality is rock solid – I love the stainless steel finish on the top, and the plastic body feels substantial, with no cheap rattling sounds. All of the accessories in the box feel high quality, and their included quick start guide and recipe book are super useful. Grilling The grill function works beautifully! My partner and I created some bacon jalapeno chicken on the grill, and the meat was super flavorful (photo attached). Keep in mind that we weren't even using fresh chicken, the chicken was frozen and then thawed in the fridge before grilling. So you don't need to go for top-tier cuts of meat to get a quality grilling experience. Usually I have to use a sous vide before grilling outside to get this level of flavor. Great stuff! Starting up the grill function is super easy as well. I simply put in the temperature I want the meat to cook at, the Ninja Foodi pre-heats the grill, and I'm ready to grill within minutes. Air Frying To test out the air fryer, we went down two paths. The first path was grabbing some frozen egg rolls and air frying them per the instructions on the box (photo attached). Surprisingly, I was very impressed by this compared to my Bella Pro Series air fryer. To put it in plain terms, the subtle browning and evenness of the heat distribution was truly unexpected. This isn't to say that the Bella is a poor performer, but it never did this good of a job with even heat distribution, and that's what separates the top-tier air fryers from the rest! The second path we tried was created some bacon-wrapped brussel sprouts and wow – these turned out amazing!! The air fried bacon infused the brussel sprouts with the perfect level of savory flavor, and it was sublime – I highly recommend others to try this basic recipe if they haven't already. (Photo attached, paired with the chicken dish) The air frying function is exactly like the grill function in terms of how you get started. Pre-heat the Ninja Foodi to the temperature you want, load up your food, set the timer, and let the magic happen. What's I really liked was how FAST the pre-heating process was. When I set the Ninja Foodi to pre-heat the air fryer to 400F degrees, I waited only 4 minutes or less. I didn't even leave the kitchen! Dehydrating The dehydrate function is one I plan to explore more in the future – specifically with venison. For the sake of testing though, I took 2 apples (ambrosia variety for the sweet flavor), cut them up, and soaked them in lemon juice and cinnamon overnight. In the morning, I took out the apples, set the Ninja Foodi's temperature to 145F, and let them dehydrate for 7 hours. The apple chips turned out perfect! I added another dash of cinnamon on top, and these made a wonderful snack for movie night with my partner. Overall, this Foodi is a champ! I see myself using this all the time, especially for grilling as the cold winter months are right around the corner. I'm excited to see how this machine performs with baking and roasting, but I'm quite happy with what I've experienced so far. With just one kitchen tool, it's practical and simple to create a variety of dishes and meals, and I'll be using this machine to prepare many meals going forward.Curtis
If you are looking for a quick and easy way to cook your food, then an indoor grill is the way to go. Indoor grills are convenient because they can be used in any weather. I've been a fan of Ninja Foodi appliances for while now and my fiance and I use our 11-in-1 Foodi just about every day — with the Air Fryer being the most-used function. While this appliance has fewer cooking functions, it has already proven to be more useful to us — proving that less is more. The cooking function that really stuck out on this appliance was the grill. I love steak and baked potatoes, but dread the winter months because there isn't a good option for grilling indoors. I was instantly impressed with how easy it was to cook a steak on the Foodi Grill. For starters, the appliance is already assembled. Depending on the function you might have to swap out the cooking crisper or the grill pan but other than that, the unit is ready to use out of the box. I knew that I wanted to cook a steak so I inserted the grill pan and set the Foodi to the high setting for grilling. There is a very easy-to-understand quick start guide included that outlines the settings to use with different foods as well as the timing to use. After setting the cooking function, temperature rating, and time, I pressed the start button. The preheat light turned on and little tick marks started appearing on the display. When preheating was done, the Foodi beeped and the display turned to the countdown clock for the food. I put the steak in the grill and closed the lid. Halfway through cooking the steak, the grill beeped again and the display read, "Flip Food." I opened the lid and flipped the steak and then let it finish cooking. After the steak was done cooking, I let it rest for a few minutes before cutting into it. I was impressed to find the steak was a perfect medium-well with a perfect line of pink in the middle. The steak was easy to cut, juicy, and it tasted great. I'm very excited to have this appliance in our kitchen. It's going to make cooking steaks much easier throughout the year.nickcal

Reviews:
I ordered this ACE-exclusive grill three weeks ago with free ACE assembly and delivery, and would caution others on this purchase based on my experience. In short, the grill seems to be great and high quality, but I haven't been able to use it yet due to faulty ACE assembly and lackluster customer support follow-up to resolve the issue, so I can't actually comment on the functioning of the grill itself. Upon excitedly evaluating the newly delivered grill, I was surprised and understandably disappointed to see that one of the torx screws on the lid was drilled in with too much torque/ speed and had completely stripped the interior threading (see pics). The individual(s) at ACE who improperly assembled the grill figured that applying a thin piece of masking tape over the screw was adequate, presumably deciding to leave me to tap new threading (which I don't have the equipment for) or to order the necessary replacement parts. I emailed customer support promptly upon discovering this issue and some other minor ones, and they were responsive over email before having the local ACE store who delivered the grill get in touch with me. After speaking over the phone to one individual at the store, and getting two back-to-back missed calls with no voicemail later the same day while I was at work and unable to answer a week and a half ago, I'm currently left completely in the dark on next steps or resolution for this issue. It seems that ACE is just waiting for the problem to go away on its own, and I'm left without the option to use the grill in the meantime. In my opinion, this lack of action towards resolution matches the lack of attention towards proper assembly. I would put both of these responsibilities squarely on the part of the vendor rather than the consumer, but maybe that's just me. At a $1k+ price point for this relatively premium product, I would expect much more from ACE.Tony
Update late July 2022 (I was unable to figure out how to update the original review) Weber sent me a new controller interface but it does not work any differently; I still have to unplug the 2-PIN connector to make the USB power work, which is very cumbersome to do. My advice to Weber is (a) fix the electrical hardware and (b) mount the controller in the exact same way, except extend the housing to so that the unit wraps under the grill and up on the side edge a little thus providing easy access to a USB-C connector. And finally, have an integrated rubber cover for the USB port. Purchased July 2022: If you don't plan to use a USB power bank then some of this review won't matter, since plugging the grill into an electrical socket works just fine. USB Power: Be aware that this product ships with a manufacturing design defect that according to Weber themselves and my own personal experience: (a) You must unplug a hard to reach 2-pin connector otherwise the USB power probably won't work and then reattach the 2-pin connector after grilling so that it doesn't rust – all according to Weber's own FAQ website. (b) The usb power bank is not something you leave connected permanently, which makes sense, but the usb type-c connector is near the 2pin connector – so both are cumbersome to reach. (c) The usb rubber cover is tiny so you will probably lose it as it's not attached to the grill. An integrated rubber cover would have been better. I bought this grill knowing I would not use an electrical outlet, but because of the poor design of the USB power it overrides any other feeling I have about this expensive product. If Weber at least came out with a component upgrade so that I don't have to keep reattaching the 2-pin connector I would be mostly satisfied save for the hard to reach usb connector. Assembly: Assembly was fairly straightforward and the assembled unit fit and finish is great. I took my time and completed the assembly in two evenings. I don't see it taking only 2 hours FYI but maybe if you had a helper that was also reading the next steps. A couple of the metal fascia trim pieces were bent as delivered because of the soft metal. I used a rolling pin to easily even it out. I used both the printed install guide and BILT 3d app since sometimes one supplemented the other. I will say it was excellent to be able to zoom into the 3d view of the grill and hone in on how something was connected. I found small little differences between the literature and reality about how best to thread a wire for example, or the fact that so long as you can sort of think through the assembly step you're on you'll be fine. It can be a mostly 1 person job except for lifting the grill top and bottom to their positions. Packaging: Excellent, well marked boxes and contents – minus one tedious issue: The stainless steel has the protective wrap melted onto it in such a way that the wrap even goes into creases and things were obviously screwed in after the wrap applied. So, the wrap was painful to pull off because it adhered almost too well and then it was somewhat difficult to get it out of the nooks and crannies.Web Are
This is my 4th Genesis in the past 30 years! I have tried other grills, which I keep outside unprotected, and they lasted a year or two. The Genesis seems to last around 8 to 10 years before I want my next one. Nothing wrong with the old one – I just want a new one! What I am most amazed by is how well your product management team continues to improve. The little things from the last version of the Genesis were improved in this model. The list is long, but includes; Locking wheels (that really lock), externally visible tank level, sear zone, longer connecting hose, better doors with solid magnets for closing, wider prep / store areas, simpler assembly, and the list goes on. The even heat, the cast iron grates, the heat controls. Weber makes it easy to grill! When I was living in Germany, one of my friends had me over to his house for "an American barbeque". He was very proud of his "German Grill". He assumed that because it was a Weber (German name, pronounced VEBER), that it was "the best". I informed him that this was a good old American Made grill – and yes, it is the best! Thanks to all at Weber for always pushing forward and making the best grill available on the market. One more thing… When we bought our house, they had a built in barbeque area in the outdoor grilling area. The very expensive ($4,500) installed grill was terrible. We bought this Weber and have it sitting in the open, and we never use the installed grill.Fletch52

Bought this grill less than 2 years ago and parts are rusting. I have reached out to customer service via email and every time they respond its a different person and seems that they never read the chain of email. Photos and video have been emailed and did not receive a reply back after showing damaged parts with rust. Flavorizer bars are extremely rusted and lasted less than 2 years. Grill grate has started to rust along with other parts. Burners won't ignite with battery ignitor and have to use match or lighter. When grilling and having all three burners on (ignited) there is times wind will blow out one burner and won't ignite again on its own. It's frustrating to he checking my grill for blow outs and having the fear of creating a gas cloud and having and explosion. I have to re-ignite the burner with a lighter when it blows out. Burners have been clean and still have same issue.Rpenaz09
Purchased the Weber E-310 in August 2017 with the Weber cover. I use it twice a week and it is covered after cooling when not in use. The grill grates were rusted and chipping and the burners got rusted through after the third burner stopped igniting. The bolts holding the burner securely in place were also rusted so I couldn't remove the burners. Being only 4 years old, maybe it's because of the humidity in South Florida. I worked with the warranty department but was nervous I would be out of luck. Gotta say Weber definitely stands 100% behind their product. There is a reason Weber is well known and a top quality grill. Originally had my overall rating at 3 stars due to the rust after only 4 years but changed to a 5 star solely based on the warranty and Weber standing up to the warranty and standing behind their product. I will definitely continue to buy Weber grills after the E-310 has had its last day.clmsntigr
Make sure you understand the "flow limiting device" before you fire this up for the first time. It took be a half hour to cook 10 burgers and I wondered why the grill wasn't getting up to temperature. I was ready to return it the next day, until I read about this feature. This is my first gas grill (I've alway owned Weber charcoal grills) so I was clueless about this safety feature. Anyway, this thing is built like a tank; is easy to use (now); and I don't have to fuss with charcoal. It's a whole new way of cooking so, if you're moving on from a charcoal grill, give it some time and be patient. It is very expensive compared with the many other gas grills on the market (I purchased it for the Weber brand) but I think worth the money. One more thing: upon the strong advice from a family member I had the E-310 assembled and delivered (it weighs 130 pounds and has many parts). Assembly and delivery was free from ACE Hardware and I probably saved 5 hours of labor and a lot of frustration. The ACE Hardware tech who assembled it said he's done "probably 50" says it still takes him 3+ hours to build one of these. One more thing: the little pictures of the grill on the 3 control knobs, while cute, are a branding item gone too far: What's wrong with arrows to show what the temperature setting is?Chrisste

We have not installed it in the door yet…but just looking at it, it looks sturdy and indestructible, which is good, because my dog literally eats and tears the doors with the flexible plastic. He's a monster. This should do the trick. Well put together and hard plastic tri-flex door flap. Best price I can find for these is here!!Kim
I have 7 dogs of varying sizes who use this door constantly. The only fault I find is that the rubber gaskets between the slats in the door wear out . Everything else lasts a very long time. I tweaked it by putting piano hinges between the slats and that has extended its use a lot. If I could buy just that part the door would last practically forever! Even with my over-sized pack!HappyKat

I bought this 4 months ago for Black Friday. We only have 5 of us left in the house and for the most part it's large enough for us. You will quickly realize, especially on fries it has hot spots. Mostly on the sides so definitely toss. We have made fried chicken, fried fish, french fries, grilled chicken and steak, roasted loins, etc. Nothing has turned out badly. The steak is pretty darn good. The fried fish and chicken isn't the same as deep drying but not terribly off and much healthier. We use this several times per week so it gets a lot of use. The bad. I know it's only one thing but for it's price I expect it to last longer than it likely will before everything sticks. The finish is coming off in the air fry tray and drip pan. No metal utensils have ever been used on it. This is normal wear and tear for this thing, I guess. Not I'm not sure I would pay that kind of money again for it to come off so quickly. Ninja needs to look at the durability of that as well as the air circulation for even heating. This is why I didn't go with the XL that would have better suited us but I saw too many videos and reviews of even less even cooking than this one and I'd rather cook in stages than have things not cooked right. This does cook most things well but you do have to watch and rearrange. It would be a 5 star if the coating didn't look so bad already.Momtocckcj
I was tired of grease splatters everywhere and filling my apartment with smoke when I wanted to cook steak (and was looking for an alternative for boring, baked fish), and this grill worked wonders! Living in NYC with limited storage, you want appliances that pull double (and in this case, quintuple) duty, and it has certainly delivered so far. It’s also been perfect for grilling vegetables and crisping up frozen fries, etc. It is indeed large (see image for context) and loud, almost like running a small generator (to be expected) – and time will tell if the electricity it requires will save on the cost of gas to use my oven/stove, alternatively – but as long as you use the recommended oils (i.e., no olive oil, if you use any oil at all), it’s indeed smokeless, and that is certainly worth it. The presets will take some finagling to cook things to your exact liking, so don’t “set it and forget it” until you’ve figured those out. (My first steak came out a little tough and dry, but adjusting the presets accordingly, the next batch was fantastic!) Salmon fillets came out perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy on the inside – I will never go back to baking fish in the oven again. Even sautéing bell peppers in a pan are no match for the slight char flavor you get from this machine, which is really what you’re trying to imitate on the stove anyway. I like that it beeps to let me know when it’s done preheating and when the food is done, and goes into a suspension mode when you open the lid to flip, stir, or just check on things – and goes right back to cooking as soon as you close the lid. (No fighting flames like on an outdoor grill!) I do wish the basic components (the grill grate and the crisper basket) nested together in the basin for perfect storage (unless I just haven’t figured it out yet), but, again, not the biggest deal. (Tip: if you’re soaking the components, especially for the first time before you use them, take note of the indentations in the basin and the grill plate, specifically, and make sure they’re aligned. Putting the grill grate in the basin any other way can lead to it getting stuck!) I also like that you can collect other accessories (such as the griddle plate, etc.), and can replace specific parts, such as the splatter screen, which I can see wanting to renew down the line at some point. I haven’t used the roast, bake or dehydrate features yet, but if they’re anything like the grill or air crisp functions, I cannot wait to get cookin’!Spence
This small appliance gets the job done! We use ours constantly and I just bought one for my elderly parents to help minimize the time they have to stand at a stove. It’s particularly helpful because it prevents burnt pans from someone walking away from the stove and forgetting about the item being fried. The food comes out perfectly cooked and delicious. It is easy to clean. My parents read the manual and were able to begin use right away. They love it too. One thing I disliked is that the times the manual gives for cooking are usually a few minutes too long and will overcook the food so you have to start checking ahead of the time you set to make sure you don’t overlook the food. Once you figure out how long it takes to cook the food the way you like it, you can mark the time down and in the future use that time instead of the manual’s time. I love that you can open the oven while it’s cooking and not disrupt the time or the cooking, it just goes right back to cooking once you close the lid again. For me the ninja was an expensive purchase but it gives you value and so was worth it.Amanda

This is my first propane BBQ in 30 years as I love charcoal and enjoy my NexGrill charcoal BBQ so I went with this as charcoal is currently banned due to forest fire regulations for the summer. I absolutely love the stainless steel grills and the overall BBQ itself but I can see the stainless steel heat plates over the burners starting to rust on the two right side ones frequently used so I'll be wanting to replace those but that is not unexpected. That being said they are probably under warranty and those I see warning people to buy a Weber which is triple the cost and any metal exposed to flame and rain will eventually rust. I would like to see the grates/shields available at Home Depot for purchase and when I do get the next set I will only use them for cooking and use the old set to keep the water off the burners. I'm not sure why the opening is on the back or why it is so large as that lets quite a bit of rain in without a cover which I'm not buying as I would rather replace the stainless plates as the BBQ looks too good to hide.Andrew_F
Cooks very nicely but you might want it assembled as it does have a lot of pieces. we also recommend you use the cooking sheets so not to make a mess inside. my only complaint it would be that it does not move easily and you have to make sure the battery is in the right direction'louh
Been using the BBQ for about 4 months and like it.
Nexgrill marketing doesn't specify the grill area. Instead, they dance around it and state that the "primary cooking area" is 462.3 square inches and the “total cooking area” as 626.8 square inches. These measurements are totally useless for most of us. I measured the grilling area and it’s about 15.5 x 25.5 which gives a grilling surface area of nearly 400 square inches. I guess bigger numbers equal more sales – even though it’s misleading. But who cares about ethics?Lynn S

We just got ours 2 days ago. It was deklivered by UPS during the aftermath of hurricane Ida. The UPS man needed help unloading it and when I actually got it out of the weather I noticed the box was damaged. Got the wife to come and take pictures of the damage as I unpacked it. It wasn't actually too bad except for the roof being cracked, but not beyond what I can possibly repair. Multiple places there are either screws lost or obvious cracks in the material. I will repair it as well as I can and then trrow a few coats of Epoxy paint on and IN it to protect the wood. The kennal itself was in stock and went together easily. As my pups will be spending only a few hours in it I decided to keep it and repair it. I know there are at leaast 10 screws and bolts missing because the hardware packet was partially opened and some parts had obviously fallen out of the shipping container.Bogey1
I give five stars because for the price I believe it is a nice dog house. Steel framing seems sturdy and it comes with a composite floor that will not rot. I found it easy to put together, but I could see how others may not think it is easy. Parts labeled very well and squared up well on assembly. I recommend putting together on flat concrete and only move after installing after all self tapping srews are in place. Only negative thing I would have to say is that the walls are a little thin for my liking. I feel they could be a little thicker. Also i like how it attaches to the retriever kennel. Other than that, great buy!DoggE
This dog house is a huge waste of money. I plan on returning mine today. First off, the wooden panels are paper thin and the floor will bow under little weight. I'm actually afraid my dog would chew out of the house very quickly. There were some parts of the instructions that didn't say which way smaller parts should be facing, and you would go through all the trouble to put it together then find out that one small part had to be flipped, but the instructions were not clear about some parts. I rebuilt this dog house probably 5 times because parts just didn't fit well at all for some reason. Oh and you DO need a drill because part of it want's you to drill screws through the metal frame because for some reason the holes were not included in the frames? The metal frame is cheap and easily bends under little weight. The only reason I even got this doghouse is because I have the retriever kennel that goes with it. Do yourself a favor and get a better quality dog house or build a good one yourself.James009

Extraordinary item!, well thought and designed along with the high quality of materials at it's construction. At glance It made me thought if I should do the purchase as it comes at a price that makes wonder if it's really worth it or not compared to other brand models or even from the same brand. I took it and I'm convinced is totally worth it, I enjoy how practical it came out to be. The gas line attachment for kicking off the charcoal is perfect or for even raising temperature when needed in extreme urgency. I hold using the charcoal chimney to accelerate a bit the startup but is really not required as it brings baskets to do so. I've made Tomahawks and Ribeye's almost 3 inches wide, with great precision, searing and finish up as the top cover seals superb and reaches 400 degrees with ease (of course, larger amount of charcoal is needed for this), the thermostat at the top is key for this process. The grills are high quality materials, easy to clean after use, is also convenient the basket at the bottom to dispose the remaining ashes while the table helps organize the event to set up utensils, condiments and plates. Really enjoy my new BBQ and i highly recommend it to everyone. The BBQ becomes part of the talking points on each ghater! I really hope you enjoy as much as we do at home.Gilberto - Puerto Rico
If this lasts as long and "performs" as well as my first Performer Deluxe did (bought April 2004 / retired January 2022), this might end up in my will. Ok, maybe not since I'm only 48 since I don't think this is built quite as well as the original, but there are two (2) things that are way better on this version that the original, and 1 thing that I'd like to have seen carried over. First, the improvements. The original had those stupid, proprietary, 2-gallon propane tanks that were a miserable pain to fill because their certification not only expired long before the grill died (meaning you could no longer get them filled at any reputable dealer), but they also had a proprietary fill / output nozzle that was not compatible with just swapping it for the standard sized LP tanks. The new grills being able to use the little disposable bottles are a huge win. 2nd, the ignition system, to include the amount of flame / heat delivered to the charcoal, is a big improvement in this generation. My son accidentally left this on for 30 minutes and it drained an entire bottle of propane. I say that's a good thing, because it also lights solid lump hardwood charcoal far faster than the older version, even after I replaced the innards with a newer grill's ignition system to be able to use the disposable bottles after my 2-gallon fill certification expired. Now for the one area that would need to improve. I think the original was built slightly better. This one seems a little more wobbly than the older one. Not a lot, but just a little. Time will tell if it lasts as long. If it does, it deserves 5 stars for sure. I've cooked on it a few times, and other than getting used to using a stainless steel grate again after having used a cast iron grate for a few years, this is a massive improvement over my very way past retirement age original Performer grill.CTG77
This grill has every conceivable charcoal grill option. There's nothing left to add except perhaps a personal chef. That said, some of the stuff is semi-worthless. The timer thing is hard to read. I usually use my phone. The gas starter is nice, but not really any better than the chimney-type starter. In fact, I may go back to that as I have already burned through a couple of gas bottles and ran out on Sunday. The most frustrating part was when the plastic knob on the top MELTED. This "feature" is standard on the top of the line models. However. if you heat the grill up to Warp 9, as I like to do the sear steaks, the knob overheats and melts. Fortunately, Weber's first-class customer service FedEx'd me a replacement top the next day. FYI, the plastic knob can be removed easily (if it is not melted). Knowing what I know now, I would probably buy one with out the starter. However, if that is your preferred thing, then this is hard to beat.
