Have had pain, aches and muscle inflammation for years particularly on my left knee, ankle and foot; to make matters worse about a year ago the Dr. diagnosed me with an osteoarthritic knee; before that time and since have used many products and devices (non-prescription) seeking to alleviate pain and inflammation. That is until about mid- August 2014 when I was introduced to Absorbine Liniment Veterinary Gel while visiting a cousin in Puerto Rico, of course I doubted its effectiveness. I put some gel all over my knees, ankles and feet that night; the next morning I was absolutely amazed at how fast pain and swelling had significantly been reduced and within a couple nights and days was relieved. I now use Absorbine Liniment Veterinary Gel once every other night and at times during the morning, as I find this regimen works best for my needs. This Gel is NOT just for horses. I was having a terrible pain in my shoulder radiating down to my elbow in my right arm from a car accident years ago (arthritis). The gel did wonders. Although this product is labeled veterinary liniment and recommended for animals only, I have used it for years for joint and arthritis pain upon the recommendation by my Hollywood Stuntmen friends as the only thing they use. I was pleasantly surprised at the immediate relief felt so have continued to use it since for my personal use and have referred it to many friends who also have become consistent users of this gel product. I prefer the gel since it applies more easily without a mess. I must caution however not to rub your eyes after application until after you have thoroughly washed your hands (and no that is not a word of caution based on personal experience…lol). My Dog has Chronic Kidney disease, which causes anemia. This was the only product I was able find for pets that I felt was appropriate. It did help my dog for a time, I am very grateful! It didn't seem to cause him additional stomach or intestinal upset (which is great for an iron supplement:)). I am only giving 3 stars because for my dog's needs, it simply did not give him enough iron and it does not contain vitamin C (helps the body absorb the iron), and he seemed to have some reactions sometimes. So, I had to find a different source. For a healthy dog, too much iron can be lethal so this is possibly still a great product for healthy dogs (check with your vet :)). Lastly, Iron supplements for dogs have been very difficult for me to find, and when I needed it, this product was there. THANK YOU!Manija

I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. I have no big toe joints left in my feet. Other than surgery, which the doctor told me I would have done, there was nothing I could do about it. My big guy isn't exactly what you might call graceful. He's a dork. A giant clumsy dork. So little aches and pains are just a part of our life together. I'm taking ibuprofen because he's nearly pulled my shoulder out of socket after trying to run and hide from the wind and he's taking his doggy aspirin because he tripped over his own feet while running and now yelps every step he takes. These really do help. They're easy to give wrapped in a little bread or dipped in peanut butter. I combined this with Charlotte’s Web Hip and Joint hemp for my dog with osteoarthritis. She could barely walk for three days. After two hours of taking this she is running and playing around even in the cold weather. I love this stuff!! My money earning barrel horse has a tendency to get sore after a race…which is no surprise given how hard she works! Once she is cooled out I put this gel on the areas she tends to get sore and I find that she has reduced soreness, her muscles recover quicker and she just a lot more comfortable. My mare's sports massage therapist can tell the difference between when I use it and when I don't so now I use it every race! In the summer I use the sore-no-more body wash and find it works wonderfully and the cold water helps keep her cooler too.
