I adopted a dog 2 years ago and she is great. I noticed right off the bat though that my dog's bladder would leak when she got excited which I know can be common so I didn't think too much of it at first. Then I noticed it would take her several tries when she would go out to empty her bladder so I expected that the inability to empty her bladder was symptomatic of a UTI. When looking for something to help before another trip to the vet I saw that these bladder bites had high ratings and gave them a try and they worked great, all of her issues even the exited leaking stopped. That was right after I adopted her a couple years ago and during our recent move with everything packed and hard to find she wasn't getting these regularly within a couple months she had started the little bit of leaking again when excited. I turned to this product for my cat after everything else failed. She has a chronic sinus infection that did not respond to multiple rounds of two different antibiotics. She stopped eating and was losing weight. I put drops of this on her food twice a day and she seems to tolerate it. My Pomeranian suffers from BSD and has lost a lot of his fur. I have tried treatments from the vets but with no avail. I am a vet assistant, and I see all kinds of animals coming in with different skin conditions or allergies and always felt so bad for them and their owners….. then I got a dog with allergies and then I found out what it's really like…. it is devastating watching your dog itch and scratch to the point of pulling their hair out, then when the hair is gone… then there goes their skin…. they will make themselves bleed and still won't stop. I tried benadryl I tried EVERYTHING, had to even do skin antibiotics and steroid Injections and still he was itching…. so… the dr tried him on this….. now… first thing I will say is this medication isn't cheap especially for bigger dogs (if you have a 10lbs dog it's not going to be too bad) but my poor dog had to start off taking 2 16mg 2 times a day and it was roughly 300 for the first month, however from there you taper down and after a few months I got him down to half a tablet once daily…. anyway…. this medication worked like a dream for him. He hasn't had any issues for over a year now and although sometimes he scratches its more of a normal itch. This medication literally saved him and my sanity. Ever since I adopted my little Angel a few months ago, I've wanted to get rid of her overly flaky coat and large amount of shedding. My vet first prescribed the standard fatty acid capsules. They were too large to administer by themselves and with pill pockets. Squeezing the liquid into Angel's wet food was out of the question as well, as she is EXTREMELY picky when it comes to supplementing her food with vitamins, medicines, etc. and refused to touch her dinner if it had the liquid in it. Exasperated, I purchased Ark Naturals Royal Coat and crossed my fingers, hoping she wouldn't reject it. Success! Angel actually seems to like her wet food even more with Royal Coat mixed in it. For certain deep blemishes, these were great at keeping them from becoming for reddened and painful. It felt like it sped up the time for healing for “true” pimples. For some other blemishes that were deep and more cyst-like, I tried multiple days of application over the same spot with no big change to the size of the blemish. The benefit I saw was that the blemish never worsened and is going down without any further irritation. It is very satisfying to see the little pad change in texture and coloration the next morning, seeing that it does draw out some oil and gunk. I really like these micro needle acne patches. They're similar to the zit sticka brand but these feel a little less heavy duty. When I have a larger pimple or one that's below the surface of the skin I start using these along with other products. I don't think these patches on their own are enough work a pimple miracle and yes you do usually have to use more than one sticker to get the job done, BUT that's just the nature of acne. I think they work effectively without irritating my skin and it does shrink the size of my pimples within a couple days. So for that they get a win in my book. My skin is mostly clear but I do get some pretty deep, stubborn, cystic-like acne that always take forever to heal and leaves behind hyperpigmentation. I had three of those spots along my cheekbone and near my nose. One of them had inflamed, swelled up and was starting to open. It made my cheek puffy and painful. I bought these on a whim and out of desperation. I applied overnight patches to the two worst ones, including the inflamed, swollen one. By the next morning they were significantly better. I honestly did not expect to see the results that I had. The redness and inflammation was gone and the blemish was literally half the size it was. I have used these little babies for a few more nights and those pesky, painful spots are nearly gone. These micro darts significantly reduce the long cycle and healing process involved with deep, cystic-like acne. I wish there was more in the package though. I read that some people say they don't stick well or at all and I can see how that could happen. You get one really good stick and after that the stickiness kind of decreases. So basically one shot to get it right, maybe two on clean, bare skin. I personally didn't have any real issues with them sticking because I put them on shortly after I took a shower. I would suggest applying these right after a shower when skin does not have any products on or consider using a cleansing micellar water on and around spots before application. Also, once applied, be sure to push somewhat firmly on and around the spot. I did that to make sure the micro darts kind of penetrated the spot.
