About 6 months ago, my cat, who has feline leukemia, stopped eating, was constantly vomiting, sleeping, and cringed whenever I touched her. I adopted two very rambunctious puppies and bought many bottles of Grannick's Bitter Apple to deter them from chewing on things like furniture, shoes, etc. I tried other deterrents as well as puppy chew toys. In my opinion, Grannick's works the best. I gave this product four stars because the pump strayer was defective on a several bottles and did not spray. The liquid just dribbled out. I had to buy a spray bottle to properly apply it. Note: The product may stain. I used it anyway because I did not want the puppies to destroy my sofa. The directions are very vague for product usage given the inclusion of tea tree oil. Can it be used 2-3 times a day when your dog is scratching or should it be used once a day? Also should it be used on open wounds? And what about licking? Should my dog where the cons of shame once I have sprayed him with the product? I highly recommend this product for all dog owners! It is truly a lifesaver for my dog when his paws get itchy- when I see him gnawing on them and getting uncomfortable, l spray a little on him and he instantly looks relieved. I got this spray at my local small business pet store (Carter's Pet Mart in Stockton, CA) because he's prone to itchy skin when the weather gets hot. It cost $6.99 and they had a multitude of other scents and sprays for various needs. I've always liked how tea tree oil smells so I knew it would also help his coat and skin smell better after he came in from being outdoors. I like to spray it on his coat and then use his coat brush to work it in. He doesn't seem to mind it and his itching had subsided a bit. It's made with all natural ingredients and the company is based in SF.

I received the chews and immediately gave my puppy 2 of them. She really liked them, she itches. most of the time. But the vet says she needs some type of injection to stop it completely. I don't like to give my puppy any shots but her yearly Injection for rabies. After a week of giving her 2 chews per day as per the instructions I've noticed a big reduction in the amount of her itching. She likes to eat them so apparently they must taste pretty good. I used this on my golden retriever hot spots . It’s allergy season , and I normally use a cream on my dogs . This product wasn’t messy , and my dogs didn’t mess with their hot spots again . My pet Koko is a 4 year old Cooker S and he has certain spots on his body that will itch until the fur is gone and the skin is broken. The hydrocortisone didn't seem to be doing enough. Even though my dog will eat the Omega bites, I still have to crumble them up in his food (they are soft so it's very easy to do). He can be very picky so I am figuring they must taste pretty good and not smell bad or he wouldn't eat his food with it in there. So that's a big win!! My guy will be 12 in December so I feel like he needs this in his diet. I will start off by saying that my senior dog, London, can be picky about her treats and she really enjoyed the Zesty Paws Senior Advanced Omega Bites. I haven't seen a huge transformation in her skin or coat, but I feel like a supplement like this takes at least 3 months to show results. I do like that it has omegas, collagen, and flaxseed. I wish it didn't have pea powder but that's better than lentils. All that said I also feel it's very expensive and I would have to see amazing results to pay $35 for a supplement considering I'm already paying out the nose for required medications. Keep this on hand for trimming our guinea pig's nails. His front nails are clear/white, so it's pretty easy to see the quick, but his back nails are dark and once we (my GF, I hold him) got his quick. Luckily we had this stuff on hand, and it stopped bleeding basically as soon as we dipped his nail in it. My GF is going to school to be a vet tech, and she prefers the powder form, so that's what I bought. We have an older 14 yr old bichon/pom. His teeth had plaque and tartar and his breath smelled like poop.
