Hairballs are the devil! My baby boy Buttons, was suffering tremendously. We took him to our vet on numerous ocassions where he was given very strong laxatives. Though it worked all the time, my Buttons has a very sensitve tummy Lax'Aire helps him expel the hair in his digestive tract and eliminates the throwing up that otherwise occurs. I am so happy to be able to buy it online at a reasonable price because my vet stopped carrying the product. Don't waste your money buying anything else. This is the one!Rose G
This works great for our 16 year old tuxedo cat. She is still able to groom herself however she gets frequent hair balls and this helps her expel it. She also has scoliosis of the spine in which she is given meds to help alleviate her pain but causes constipation. Our previous vet started us on this and it works great especially if you use it either 2 hours after eating or 10 minutes before feeding. I hope Pfizer doesn't do something crazy again and stop producing this product because it works much better than the others we have tried.cyn

Reviews:
With my previous dog I used the HW protect. She didn't like the taste, and would not eat her food, if it was put in her food. So I bought a big bag of XL #3 EMPTY GELATIN CAPSULES online. I would fill the capsule with HW Protect, and put the filled gel capsule in raw ground turkey burger, then hand feed it, down the hatch. My current dog can smell it, and will suck the turkey off of the gel capsule and spit the capsule out on the floor. Trying to figure out how to fool her to get her to take it. I cannot get garlic or garlic tablets down her either. She hates anything with a stong smell. I love the HW Protect to prevent heartworms, just trying to figure out how to get my current dog to take it. The HW Protect is in the fridge for months but I cannot get her to take it. I give her NEEM capsules for preventing fleas, ticks as Neem has very low scent. I read that Hawthorne berry capsules, Black Seed, Hops Flowers, Apricot Kernal Extract, Sheep Sorrel and garlic help prevent heartworms too. I feed her Apricot seeds B17 and laetrile capsules for both her and me because a retired 95 year old doctor who was a very healthy active old man, said this has contributed why he and his wife never gets cancer. He said that ground up raw apricot seeds not only prevent heartworms, they also shrink cancer cells thru out the entire body in both pets and humans, and are used in Germany in the natural cancer clinics where the powerful elite wealthy rothechilds, rockefellars, carnegies, gov officials, and fda go when their families get cancer and they get Laetrile IV's that shrink cancer thru out the whole body, done daily for 4 weeks, and that is why these powerful elite all easily live into their late 90's and older. Wish this was allowed in the USA to save people and to save pets from cancer. But obviously no profit in health for the masses. So many supplements have multiple health effects. Thanks for the HW Protect, I just have to figure out how to get my dog to take it.customer
My cat has been plagued with constipation issues for several years now. She'll be 10 this year. Working to avoid western medicine via homeopathic supplements. Been using PetAlive's Natural Moves successfully for several years. She needs 1 pill daily, not the 1/2 pill per "dosage" instructions. However Natural Moves is 'on back order' everywhere, including PetAlive's website. I purchased the ingredients, and working to figure out the ratios. Now I purchased Laxa-herb. My cat hates the taste in food, water, esp. by mouth. Since she's good with pills, I now put the drops in a veg cap for her. That works. Still to be determined if it helps her, but the pilling makes it easy.Britt
I have given this to my 9 year old cat in a spoonful of wet food 3 x day for 2.5 weeks now. Cat has been suffering from allergies and autoimmune stuff more and more so as he gets older. The past 5 month has been a constant battle with rodent ulcers, biting his paws, overgrooming, and irritability. I switched him to all the special diets and have done months and months of trials of selected protein and hydrolyzed. I have done multiple antibiotic shots, flea medication, kept him inside, routine liquid steroids, and even antidepressants. My vets worse case scenario was that we have to keep him on steroids if nothing else could stop the bald spots and scratching himself till bleeding. It seems there are multiple unknown triggers, and we've tried so many times to cut back the Prednisolone and he could never go more then 2.5 -3 days without serious repercussions. I was starting to have to face that twice a week steroids could be a permanent thing. It has been a nightmare…until I found these drops. After a week of these liquid drops he went 5 days without steroids before he started licking again…After 2 weeks I have stopped steroids completely. I am freaking out with happiness. He licks his paws just a tad but as long as I keep up with the 3 x/ day he seems really good. I'm still keeping him on hydrolyzed wet and dry food for now. Everything has returned to normal, and his coat looks great. When he's happy I'm happy. I'm a more natural medicine kind of person anyway so it makes sense that I would take a holistic approach with my cat chid. The only thing im not sure about is that it has agave nectar in it. Anyway, I'm switching to a holistic vet this Fall, and can't wait to tell her about these drops.CJ

I foster for a local rescue and suggested this supplement for one of my fosters because I have been using many of the products with great success over the years for my own cats. "Snoopy" kept getting impacted stools and had been to the ER vet and other vets several times with very little improvement. I put him on a strictly grain-free canned food diet and it did get better, but he still had occasional problems that nothing the vets prescribed was helping. We ordered this supplement and for the first time in months his bowel movements were normal after just a few days. He is now finally able to be put up for adoption so he can find his furever home and live happily ever after! Thank you, Petwellbeing, for making such amazing products that I have seen completely transform the lives of so many cats! Highly recommend this supplement!Megan H.
My cat Zeppole has had issues pooping since I got him. I have been putting little pumpkin and Miralax in his food and no more dry food for him. One time he couldn't go and was so backed up vet gave him like 3 enemas and still didn't clear him out but eventually he did and that was quite a mess. Anyway read review on this product and another person did same thing about enemas not working and this product worked great. With this product so far he seems to be going little more often and that's good. I still put pumpkin in his food and sometimes the Miralax too. I will buy my second bottle of drops Ling as things go way they ate going.Michael G.
One of our rescue cats needed an enema under anaesthetic to relieve an impacted bowel. The operation changed her. She hardly went out, was nervous and not herself. It took 3 months for her to recover. She has eaten a Biologically Appropriate Raw Food Diet for the last few years and we think that the fur she'd swallowed whilst grooming had impacted for some reason inside her. The vet didn't think she had a physiological obstruction but we didn't want to go through that stress again, nor did Stripe! The vet said they'd managed to remove about 95% of the impacted material and did massage to help the remaining stuff. We started her on Smooth BM Gold and the Ultimate Probiotic 9 to help her digestive system recover. For the first couple of months she was still straining a little and taking over a minute to produce a bowel movement. We monitored it every day and could see she was still passing compacted fur mats. Once she started to venture out, she started eating grasses again and gradually the fur mats have become less compacted over 3 months. Yesterday, she produced a "fluffy" fur mat for the first time so we are very pleased. She is also not straining and producing zero anymore, so it's a big improvement. All of our 9 rescue cats have tried the drops, just so we know for future. They like the Probiotic in their food, maybe it tastes a bit sweet? so we are giving it to all of them, including Harry who has just had a course of antibiotics for a suspected abscess. I think we should try your Immune Sure, though, in case an infection is still lurking. It is very irresponsible of the vets when they give you a laxative and don't tell you the possible adverse effects before you agree to that treatment. You only find out when you've paid for the medication and opened the prescription at home. We know that neither humans or animals become ill because they have a deficiency in petrochemical drugs but we do know that a deficiency in phytonutrients can cause and cure illness. Your drops are supporting a natural functioning of the digestive system, not "purging" it. We are so pleased to have found a science-based natural pharmacy for our animals and are going to try some other drops. Thank you.Clive B.

My dog has a crush pelvis and the vet believes he has some nerve damage. He needs the extra help to go. This has been fantastic. I ran into issues with other brands creating a lot of leakage but this generates almost none and he can go right away. This has been a great product for my dog.

Reviews:
I received this product complimentary from influenster in return for my honest review. The Tomlyn Hairball Remedy gel for cats is a life saver! My eldest cat has the tendency to throw up hairballs quite often. I followed the measuring ingredients on the package and mixed it into his wet food. I have definitely noticed a decrease in hairballs since! The gel consistency is a bit odd, so i can understand if your furry friend does not like it. I do recommend mixing it with wet food or a lickable treat.hennah.h
I have six cats, and, out of all of them, only one really took to this gel. However, she is the one I was hoping would like it as she is a long haired kitty. She’s actually a 3-month old kitten, and she is quite fluffy. I am so glad she took to this gel, because it will help to keep her hair moving through her system and avoid future hair balls. She licks this stuff up like it’s mother’s milk, and she’d probably eat the whole tube in one go if I let her. Really glad I tried this out, and even happier my kitten loves it. It will be part of her dietary regimen from now on. Still trying to get my other cats to eat this stuff voluntarily without me having to place it in their mouths. Highly recommend this for cat owners!Angelcakes
Purchased this product first from my vet; later tried a different product found on line – similar size tube but only 2.5 ounces compared to the Tomlyn product at 4.25 ounces. My most recent purchase from Wal-Mart is the best economically based on price and size. Both products list themselves as remedies; neither is a complete remedy but they are a definite improvement over hairballs and cleaning up those messes. My cat has extremely long hair, and she loves this product. The vet told me to put some on my finger and swipe it in her mouth – bad idea. Figured out that sitting on the floor, squirting out a tiny bit and letting her curiosity take over, she tried it. And now will eat as much as I squeeze out.Susan

I've been wanting to upgrade my dog's meal from her usual, boring kibble that she happily has eaten for her entire life basically and this was such product was such a hit! I have a 7 year old 9 lbs chihuahua and I really wanted to provide the best I could for her and find her products that don't have added chemicals or anything unnecessary. I was worried she'd actually be picky about this but she loved it along with the dried chicken I add! Definetly a purchase I am happy with and will continue buying it for my girl!Nomi
I bought this product for the intention of helping my puppy prepare for a trip since she historically shown nauseousness when in the car. I started giving dose with each feeding about a week out from our trip; my older dog ate it too. This was too much for them, especially my older as he ate more than my younger puppy. I read the label after the fact; there wasn't any specifications on the amount, I adjusted to once a day. Unfortunately my little girl still got nauseous on our trip.Tammie P.
My 9 year old dog was troubled by alternately too loose or too firm stools. I'd been adding canned pumpkin to her food for a couple years, which helped. Now I'm using this pumpkin powder which is working well, and her digestion is in good order. The powder is so much easier to use than canned. I mix with water, then into her canned food and she loves it. No more open cans of pumpkin in the fridge. And much easier, less messy, to send along when I board her.Nancy B.

Reviews:
Works fantastic! It is VERY sticky, I suggest hiding it in some wet food, that worked really well for my kitty. I used it to relieve constipation in a 4wk old orphaned kitten. My vet recommended it. I also gave it to my long haired hair ball machine…worked great for him too.RhodaRunner
My older cat is a medium hair cat. He really gets a lot of hairballs, especially in the fall and the spring. My vet recommended this brand. He absolutely loves it! He wants it all the time. I asked my vet if it is okay for him to take a lot of Laxatone. He said that it is safe and since he is older, it helps him to have regular bowel movements as well. My vet said to not give him Laxatone if he gets diarrhea. My cat jumps on the chair and paws my arm when he wants some- and it's ALL the time. So I order three tubes at a time to make sure he NEVER runs out!Racquel M

Reviews:
I was excited to try this Loose Stool Remedy Gel 15 Firm Fast for the dog when he has some issues but I didn’t feel like it was his favorite thing. Here’s what I liked and disliked. It comes in a syringe style container that easily dials to the amount needed for the size of your dog which is great. Dial out the dose you need and dispense the exact amount into the dish for the dog to eat. It’s chicken flavored so I feel like most dogs would like the taste of it. I like that it helps support digestive health and bowel function so you can use it as soon as a dog shows some issues and get the situation under control. In regards to it working or not, I can’t speak for that totally since I couldn’t get my dog to eat more than some of the first dose he got. He wouldn’t touch the second dose I tried to give him. He can be picky sometimes and evidently this is one of the products he’s choosing not to like. That being said, the product has a 100% satisfaction guarantee and is made in the USA. If your dog has occasional digestive issues and loose stools. I recommend giving this product a try for the following reasons: it is easy to use, is a probiotic which is known to be helpful, and has the 100% guarantee meaning, you can contact them should it not work for your dog or your dog just doesn’t like it.Jamie M
My dog absolutely loved the flavor of this and loved the dispensing aspect keeping it from being too messy. However, my boy has always suffered from tummy trouble and loose stools and I was really hoping this would be my saving Grace but it wasn’t. He’s still having soft stool and it’s been a week since he finished the product. Some days are better than others, but I can’t say for sure if this actually works. Could work for dogs that don’t actually have any Gastro issues and just sometimes get diarrhea!taylor.e
I have the tomlyn firm fast 15 cc loose stool remedy this is an amazing product! My dog has been having issues with a loose stool and when I gave this to her it worked! Her next stool was perfect! And to top it off she licked it right off the tube with no problem at all. The ingredients are all products I can trust. It has Kaolin 0.6g, Pectin25 mg, Enterococcus faecium, 0.2billion CFU chicken flavor, powdered sugar, silicon dioxide, soybean oil. This product soothed her upset belly and gave her the relief we were looking for.SMetz

No its like everything else I have tried does not work I can't even get my cats to get it down. When I first got it I let my cat smell it and he literally gagged (should have stopped there)?then I put it in a syringe and gave it to him and he threw up right after I gave it to him. You know I just wish there were more products for cats that they would actually eat, drink, or like. There is certainly enough out there for dogs. This FHV is horrible and it breaks my heart that there is so little I can do to help my babies. Frustrating, upsetting and just sad.Sherry S.
My 20 y.o. senior cat has had upper respiratory issues since he was 1 year old, but had gotten so chronic and so bad that he has literally had a stuffy nose and sneezing for an entire year straight. It was really draining his energy. Even in the summer, he was spending all day in his heated bed. The only thing my vet knew of that might help was an off-label use of Cerenia, which is expensive and was hard to get him to take. Out of desperation I tried this, and that same day I could tell a noticeable difference in my cat's ability to breath and how he felt. Within 24 hours his stuffy nose was almost gone, and it has stayed mostly gone with regular use of this product. It felt like such a miracle after seeing my cat be miserable for an entire year! I was not previously a believer in homeopathy, and don't understand how it works. But, I just know that it does!
I've been taking care of homeless cats and trying to find them forever homes for around 8 years. A lot of the babies have gotten eye infections. I live on disability and barely get by, so I can't afford to take them to a vet when something is wrong. I have to figure out how to heal them and I really like to do things natural when I can. I've tried everything I've heard about from L-Lysine, to apple cider vinegar on the neck, to antibiotic cream in the eyes, to Terramycin. Terramycin works the best, but only 1 store has it, it's $17 for a tiny tube, it's not a natural medicine, and it has to be put in the eyes which can't be done to the ones that can't be caught, so I can't and don't like to use it all the time. I'm always researching on the internet and found this site. Boy, am I glad I did! There's grown cats here that sneezes a lot so they need this also. I used this on 2 seven week old kittens that had eyes in terrible shape and were cleared up after putting it in their food twice. Also, I had read an article years ago about how good Plant Enzyme & Probiotics are for cats and dogs and I bought some for my cat. I ran out and low and behold, they sell it. I'm a customer for life!

This product didn't work for my dog at all. It just changed the colour of her diarrhea. I think one of the problems is that the directions say to give to your dog every four hours. However, it's cherry flavoured, which my dog didn't find appetizing. The only way I could give it to her was by mixing it up in her food, but I can't be feeding her every four hours otherwise she'd be overweight.Jerome
This really is very good, given to my cat when necessary, really does help.jkel6256
This product worked exactly as it was described on the label. I have a 13 year old chocolate lab with repeated diarrhea. Our vets have tried many things, with varying degrees of short term success. This product was effective within 3 days and was very easy to administer. If you have dogs prone to diarrhea, I recommend having some in stock,Breda

My 10 year old cat was literally dying because she could not eat and was getting too weak to drink. She was getting palliative, hospice type care but I didn't want her to starve to death. I searched for high calorie nutritionally sound feline supplemental food that required the smallest amount to compensate for her lack of eating. I came across this and decided to give it a try. My cat was so sick I had to use a feeding syringe to get it into her but she tolerated it and sure enough it was enough to get her to gain weight and strength and start eating again best she can. Turns out she has Horner's Syndrome and half her face is paralyzed. Without this she would have died. I'm so thankful I found this product. Oh, by the way, there is enough product in the packaging to feed an entire herd of cats and the price is quite affordable (it's actually a very convenient giant syringe that makes accessing the product a breeze and with zero mess). I still give her a little bit every few days because it's keeping her fur beautiful shiney and soft. She's still adapting and hopefully will continue to get better but honestly, without this product she didn't stand a chance.Chelsey S.
My 13 year old lab/springer mix is in advanced stage kidney disease. We moved across country and the stress was just too much and he got very sick. He wouldnt eat or drink anything. After some antibiotics and subdermal fluids he still wasnt interested in dog food. We did some research and found this incredible product. Thanks to the Ready Cal he has bounced back enough to enjoy life again. Even if it's just a few more months we are grateful to see our baby enjoying life again.Cindy S.
I take care of feral cats and I Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) them in order to decrease the cat population in my neighborhood. When spaying a female cat, you have to keep them for at least 4 days for them to appropriately heal and have the affects of the anesthesia to wear off completely. One of the ferals that I trapped was a skin-and-bones female that was really too young to be having the kitten she was towing around with her. So I trapped her and her only surviving female kitten, had them both fixed and proceeded to "Fatten them up" and have them heal completely. "Under the Weather" Ready-Cal was the perfect supplement to give to both mamma and baby while they healed. I kept mamma in my care for one month because she was so pathetically thin. In that month, Mamma's coat changed from a rusty brown to a glossy black. She gained weight to where you could no longer feel her ribs poking through her fur. She did not like indoor life AT ALL and could not be socialized or handled, so she was released back to her outdoor home. I continue to feed Mamma every day, even built her an outdoor heated shelter in my fenced in yard. She is very content now. She now loves people, but cannot be picked up off the ground or lifted, but allows petting and head scratches. As for her kitten, she socialized very well, is awesome at vet visits and handling, and doubled in size very quickly because of the added Ready-Cal supplement and gained weight at a rate of 1lb/month. Her blood work came back from the vet as perfect. She was de-wormed, de-fleaed, and now is added to our family as a "foster-fail" which means that she is just too stinking cute to adopt out, so I kept her as part of our family. Under the Weather "Ready-Cal" is now expected on their food during all feedings. If I put their wet food down without the Ready-CAL supplement they sniff it as something is not quite right with the food. Once I apply it to the food, they lick the brown calorie-dense "goop" (as my husband calls it) off the top of the food first, then they dig into and eat the rest. I do not feel that the kitten and Mamma cat would have recovered so fully and have such good health now if it was not for the Ready-Cal supplement. I continue to give Mamma cat the supplement every day because she is an outdoor cat, and they burn more calories being outside. It's quite expensive, but seeing how healthy she is, makes it all worth it.Kaleigh

We give each dog one small pinch in their food bowl with each feeding. This can be used with cats as well. Our pets can’t tell us when they are sick so like a human they don’t always eat what they should. This only use a little bit or you might make them sick unintentionally.krissy .l

We have an older cat (age 14) and she has been having constipation. We do several things, give her olive oil (she likes) and belly rubs (she loves) to stimulate the bowels. We only wet canned food. We have also been using GNC Pets petroleum free hairball formula with fiber (psyllium). If no BM in two days, we use the enema and it works immediately. Highly recommend. We keep a few on hand.jinnia
This stuff (Pet-Ema Feline 125 mg, 6 ml) works! Only took 32 minutes from application for her to finally have a large bowel movement. So absolutely awesome and I am so glad I was able to have it shipped next day. Extra info: By the way I had recently taken my cat to a vet for previous constipation (just a week prior) and they had recommended Hydra Care which is excellent for getting a cat to drink more fluids but she still ended up getting constipated again (3 days of normal canned food but started eating less and less and having smaller bowel movements and then only wanted Hydra Care and goats milk). I informed the vet and they were unconcerned and actually told me she probably wasn't constipated and just hadn't eaten enough even though she had been constipated the week before and had all the symptoms of it. The vet even went so far as to recommend a drug to stimulate her appetite which is insane for a pet that is constipated (that would just lead to a mega-colon at the very least). So thankfully I was able to order this feline enema and used it and now my cat is no longer constipated [it had been 7 days since her last bowel movement (I took her to vet on day 4) with as I said 3 days of food and 4 of mostly fluids] and without any idiotic, unnecessary and dangerous drugs. By the way I had been giving her lactulose every 8 to 12 hours starting on day 4 with no results. And of course I am no longer using that vet (prescribing appetite stimulant for a cat that is clearly not wanting to eat because they are constipated is wrong). PS If you are here you probably already read some of the same stuff I have about this but never use a human enema for cats because human enemas are toxic to cats; just order this feline specific one. I ordered 4 of these in case I have to use it again and plus instructions on their website say if it does not work it can be tried again after an hour (which as I said for my cat only took one dose and worked after 30 minutes).BRADLEY W
This worked wonderfully to get my old cat "going" again. She had not had a bowel movement for many days. I bought 2 of these, one as a backup in case the first one needed a booster. In no time at all she was running for the litter box. Within a day she back to her normal volume and regularity of potty breaks. She's feeling much better now and eating well again. I'd use this enema on her again in a heartbeat.beadywhitedesigns

After being told by the vet that our beagle has severe arthritis, I knew I had to do something to help her out. I gave this product a try and she has gone from barely walking to trotting and sometimes running on our walks. She is 10 yrs old and doing well on this product. She loves it too.Cookie
Slippery elm helps heal the gut lining from gluten. Gluten is in wheat/barley/rye..oats/corn/rice. Rice is low in gluten. Wild rice has no gluten…is a grass. Gluten/Xanthan gum/carrageenan can hurt the gut lining so less nutrients absorb. The dog got all three in a canned food which greatly hurt him and he was eating grass. Slippery elm was great help to heal his gut lining. One squirt in his blended food and zero food that hurt the gut lining helped him heal fast along with other supplements. Slippery elm etc may also help humans after avoiding gluten etc also.Shasha
