This is a good product. It is a really long harness so it bunches up in the middle when my dogs sit and when we are walking sometimes. The quality of the material is good and I do not feel like they are going to pull out of the harness. I do have an issue with the sizing chart. I got a large because that is what I normally have to get for my labs and then after the order looked at the chart. It showed that I should have gotten an XL at least. What a fantastic harness! My 90 pound dood is a consummate outdoorspoodle and now he can pack his own water, snacks, and frisbee thanks to the bungee cord feature. The harness is wonderfully customizable. I have a Huge, deep chested giant pal who is wearing the 2-3X size. The straps are incredibly adjustable at the shoulder, neck, and across the girth to fit a wide variety of pup shapes. The material is extremely durable, seems to resist staining (I give it a quick rinse when my mudpuppy has really had fun), and most important, the harness is lightly padded for comfort. My pal literally jumps for joy when he sees it because he knows he's off on an adventure. I also love the bright yellow which pops at night when we are out exploring. It looks like a great dog halter. This is the third halter I ve gotten for my cairn terrier mix. This one looks like he might not be able to escape. Unfortunately, it is way too small for my dog. There is only one size smaller, and I expect it is too big, also. The receipt was illegible, and I have no idea how to send the halter back. I plan to donate it to the animal shelter. I am still looking for a halter he won t escape from.
Wrong size. Trying to exchange it. The sizes are not correct. They fit large.
The harness isn't working for me but I can't send it back. My dog is a male and the back strap rides directly over his, uh, spout. He soaked it pretty good the first time out so we have to keep it. But he didn't like it either – it is pretty heavy and made him overheat. Might work for winter but I have to figure out how to modify the back strap so he can pee free.

Overall I am happy with this backpack. The fabric and stitching seems strong and well made. I was excited to try this for our very anxious dog who has difficulty walking because of anxiety. I used the backpack both empty and with water bottles for weight. The straps held in place well, and the weight did not shift the backpack around. I didn't like how awkward it is to get onto the dog, you actually have to make your dog step into it and fit it around the torso. With an extra added buckle the backpack would be able to lay across the top of the dog and then buckle under the torso instead of forcing an unwilling dog to step into the harness. But, that's truly a minor inconvenience. I'm not sure if the weight actually reduced my dog's anxiety, but I'll keep trying it and see! I received this product free in exchange for my honest review
Love this harness backpack! I wish it came in more colors though. It's a nice way to have my dog with endless energy carry a few items to add a bit of resistance. He has high energy who could run for miles, while I have some disabilities. Got the XL for my 72lb muscular Shephard Mix. At first I thought the straps were too small to wrap around his chest but finally figured out how to lengthen the straps. Great backpack and he loves wearing it because Vic knows we're in for a hike. It's very fashionable and has nice reflective material. 2 big side pockets are great for carrying items (it says has 4 pockets & access to poop bag but that's inaccurate but I like the 2 pockets better). Carrying a water bottle is really useful but vest tends to slide slightly to the side due to uneven weight of bottle. Doesn't seem to affect him though. Minha border collie esta muito chique, não só reflete luz na frente como o detalhe ma costura do peitoral. Seu bixano fica seguro e você tem controle sobre ele sem machucá-lo (não enforca, acho uma crueldade as que usam esse método). Peguei a 3 para minha border collie (o tamanho recomendado pra raça) mas ela vai fazer 5 meses e veste quando ajustado. A minha cachorrinha não deixava eu por um outro peitoral nela, ficava assustada, mas esse ela coloca tranquila. Não dá pra puxar pela frente, ela ficou com medo de um bueiro e não consegui fazer com que ela andasse apenas puxando, mas como estava perto da rua, pegar ela no colo foi a melhor opção.

Deixo apenas um alerta para quem tem cães SRD ou misturas de raças: antes de escolher o tamanho, sugiro que vocês sigam a tabela de medidas e não a referência de raça, pois pode dar diferença. Meu cachorro é um mix de pastor alemão ou belga com golden retriever. Pelas raças foi sugerido o tamanho 4. Não serviu. Pela tabela de medidas foi sugerido o tamanho 5, que é o correto.
