As I previously stated I bought two of these harnesses in two different sizes. A small and a medium as I was not sure which would work. The small is a great fit for my 13 lb Shih Tzu. But this is summer and she is shaved down. I am going to use the medium size for winter to go over her sweaters and coats. I've tried numerous harnesses and never loved any until this one. I have a miniature rat terrier who is 13.5 lbs. He tends to be too big for mediums and way too small for large sizes. Finally, this harness fits perfectly in Medium! There's even a little room to spare in case he gets larger. We wanted to take off pressure from his neck and the v neck design and light weight, soft mesh is great! It's by far the softest one I've ever felt, and I've tried every one at multiple stores. It's so comfortable that it could be left on all the time even in summer since it's so breathable. My dog lives it too! He seems to feel safe and calmer in it like a thunder shirt makes him feel. The first time I took him on a walk he seemed to feel "free". He was so happy to pounce around without worrying about a jerk in his neck. We give this one 5 stars!!!! I got this in black, size medium from Amazon. She has a 12" neck and a 19" chest. This harness is adjustable around both neck and chest. My pup has a high chase drive and will sometimes pull suddenly. I like that the x-shape doesn't put as much pressure on her throat when she pulls, and the double d-rings and buckle closure feel very secure for her leash. I bought this in a medium a week ago and I've used it around 2-3 times already. I have a maltipoo and she has a tendency to pull and try to go faster/farther and it would cause her to choke in her previous harness. However, not a single time since I've started using this has she choked/gagged. The sizing is a bit off for her though, since a small is too tight but a medium is too loose (but the medium isn't loose enough for it to be unsafe/falling). This harness is true to its name and is so helpful for dogs that try pulling and end up choking. It's also super softer than her old one. I also bought a small for my yorkie and I think she loves it! Normally she hates harnesses but this one she doesn't seem to mind! I feel like it makes her more comfortable when she's walking as her previous ones weren't the most softest like this. This is my third Gooby harness. Small size worked well when she was a puppy. She outgrew the Small we got her a medium and there was a small sign of tearing on this harness when we upgraded her to large. We got her the large pink and the fabric tore in half. The black fabric on the edge was the only thing keeping it together. Our dog weighs 18lbs but she’s built like a tank. If you have a dog that pulls I wouldn’t recommend this harness. Will be returning. Our Yorkie mix weighs 10 lbs and measured 14 inches around her chest. Based on the size chart, we ordered her a size Small. We paid extra for shipping. When it got here, it looked tiny. I adjusted the straps and tried putting it on our pup but it’s too small! It barely went over her head and wouldn’t close even at the largest adjusted strap point. Either your size chart is wrong or your product is mislabeled. I will be returning this harness. Which is too bad because I love the harness she has from your company but it is stinky now and the smell won’t wash away. I won’t be ordering another harness from you because I won’t be paying shipping again and it may not fit and I’ll have to return.LoveBlueDiamonds
I like this harness! I have a mini aussie and he is a chewer. Sometimes with these he will somehow find his way to nibble around the edges of the harness and tear through it. (We’ve been through 3 harnesses) Anyways, I wish it were a little easier to out on with the clip that has to go through the strap but I guess thats why he is so secure. Still would recommend this product though as its better than collars for dogs throats!sarah.a

Overall highly satisfied with this harness. I measured my dogs before I ordered and the sizing chart is true to size. Medium for my chiweenie and large for my pug sized mix-breed. This Voyager dog harness is great for my pup! I am training him to walk on a leash and this is so helpful so that I don’t pull on his neck. I got the size XXS for him as he was 4 lbs. He is now almost 8 lbs and it still fits him but I am going to buy another one in a bigger size so I can keep it until he is fully grown. They are adjustable so I will probably get size Small. I abdolutely feel in love with this harness (by far the easiest to get onto my puppy). I love is so much that I jought 6 of them in the past 4 months. Why did I need to buy so many one may ask…becauae that is how many the puppy chewed through in that period of time. I ended up switching brands after the 6th one. The ease of the new one does not compare but the duribilty was just not there for us on this particular harness. If you dont have a chewer it is highly recommendedMooncat84

This is such a cute harness. Very easy to put on since it's a walk in to type and then just click closed. I had a bit of trouble unclasping the attachment but I think it is because it is so tiny. *Please note the picture currently showing is NOT the harness – it appears to instead be a collar made of the same material, snap closure, and branding* As I hope you can see in the pictures, this is actually a harness (not just a collar) that fits around/in between both front legs and clasps above your dog's shoulder blades. The material is soft, but thick and durable, and double-stitched so securely that the material would likely rip before the seams holding the (what appears to be stainless steel) rings. In other words, this harness can hold up to a ton of abuse and still look/function like new. I would have given 5 stars but for the placement of the cute but annoying brand label that prevents me getting a perfect fit on my dog – IMHO a better place would be on the material between the front legs on the chest – but otherwise can't highly rate it enough.Bueler
Very nice Harness! The harness is very well made and a beautiful shade of bright blue….like the shade of blue you see with Duke University or University of Kentucky colors. The size XS is for a very small pet. The measurements are stated to fit a pet 11-15 inches in chest girth and approximately 5-10 pounds. For reference, I have a Cornish Rex cat. She is 15 years old and very thin. She weighs approximately 4 pounds. The harness fits her pretty well. I took a few pictures so you can see how cute she is in it and I do not have the adjustments as small as it could go. I have it about in the middle, so it could go larger or smaller than you will see in my picture. I realize that most people use this harness on a puppy but it is difficult to find a strong nicely made harness for a cat. This one works perfectly! My cat really doesn’t like for me to put any clothes, harness, collar, etc. on her. But when we go places, I cannot let her go free because she will take off and get herself lost. This harness is really great. I will make it smaller before I taker her outside with it. I do not take her on walks outside. She is strictly an indoor cat, but I sometimes have to travel with her and this will be very helpful. This harness is made for a very specific kind of dog, if you do not have that dog then it probably is not for you. I have a 7 year old rescue who is very traumatized and touch sensitive. We are still working on touch and I have absolutely no desire to push her past her limits, but I live in an apartment complex so she needs to be harnessed to go potty. This is the FIFTH harness that I have purchased for her and by far the best one yet. It is as easy (and touch free) to put on as a slip lead! To me, this is a miracle. I can take her outside without compromising her neck in a slip lead and without worrying she will wiggle free. I am going to do my best to explain how we put it on. First, I slide the tightening strap to it's loosest (all the way up). Then I pull the middle of that strap all the way back so the part that is usually in contact with the metal rings is touching the leather strap (where the leash attaches). This is key, because it keeps the loop as wide as possible for getting the dog's head through. Then you just slip it over the dog's head (head goes in between the felt part and the opening that you just made). The ENTIRE felt circle should be on your dog's chest. Then if you ask your dog to take a couple of steps forward, they should just put their arms right into the hole! Once their arms are through the felt hole, you can tighten. I would just go as far as you feel comfortable (if your dog is snappy). This harness functions like a slip lead so you can use tension to make up for it being slightly loose and they shouldn't be able to slip out. When you are slipping it over the dog's head, you have about a foot between the dog and your hand (if biting is a concern for you). My dog is wearing a size small.scoutgalash
This harness and leash set is amazing. It was to small for my large breed dog but fits my cat perfectly. Ots very easy to get on by design. The harness itself has an extended leash attached with an adjustment piece. So you can make the harness a bit bigger to put on an tighten to fit your pet. It is a good tightening piece that stays in place. No hard buckles rubbing on your pet! The leash is also good quality and good length to keep your pet close. The leather looks stylish with good stitching. The handle is so soft and flexible. The maroon color is kinda a brownish maroon that looks great with the brown accent. Highly recommend. I bought this for my senior dog who is a 7lb Chihuahua, she’s about 12yrs old and I put it on her without it being difficult, I like how you don’t have to snap it like a regular harness, because she gets scared of the snapping noises. The only thing that wasn’t convenient was the large metal piece that you can use to hook and unhook the leash. I put it on her for a walk and I picked the leash up and the metal hit her little head and she got scared. I felt so bad that happened, I love the harness and I’m going to keep it. I’m just going to purchase a smaller leash that doesn't have the bulky metal to use with the harness part.Ash12345
