Our dog enjoys this bed! The XL fits our 170lb mastiff comfortably. I was happy to finally find a pet bed large enough to fit him and the price point for such a large pet bed can’t be beat. It took a few times of coaxing him to get on, but once he discovered that it was stable and safe he now happily lays on it. We use it outside so he can avoid laying on our concrete patio. Talk about an amazing bed for dogs! I purchased one of these to try out in hopes my picky dogs would enjoy it. Boy was I surprised that all three of my furry babies fell in love! It's design is simple yet durable inside and outside……which is great in our hot desert climate!! My older dog loves that it's elevated off of the ground so that it's less of a strain on her joints to lie down. My little two enjoy snoozing on it together, and using it to hop up onto the "people" lounge chairs lol! Another bonus is that the material allows air to flow through the bed which keeps it much cooler than normal pet beds, and it's super easy to hose down if it gets dirty. Very well made, easily constructed, and exactly what our pup needed for these sultry summer months BUT I never looked at the dimensions, if they're listed, before ordering the XL. I expected it to fit a full size dog reasonably well but I couldn't stop laughing after I opened the box, unfurled the mat and commenced to building what is practically a twin sized bed frame (exaggeration but see pic) lol. we all love this raised bed. this is our second one, the first one we purchased several years ago and is holding up so well (it still looks new!). we take it outside during the day for our two fur-babies to sit on it and then move it all over the yard if they prefer sun versus shade. the second one will be for inside the house in our hu-man seating area so they feel like they have a seat that's just theirs. great design with the legs, they never collapse when they jump on it (and one of them often uses it for added height when they play)….unlike other raised bed designs that fold like a beach chair but then collapse when jumped on. easy to assemble.Stacia

For Europe, you have to register on the Canada/USA site and of course the form is geared for zip codes not UK address formats. I ended up on a chat session with them and still have no confirmation of the registration of the purchase. Although it says small its bigger than the small travel cot from other makers. Its not too big or too small. Thats quite Okay with me and the cats. Three of them can get on it together, which they do. The Terra Cotta is a perfect color for me, I love it because it blends in with the decor. The mat portion is mesh all around, the frame is metal and comes with the single tool needed to screw it together. They can be used indoors or outdoors. I have another one in grey outside and its been fine through two summers and winters. Once put together its designed to stay together so i wouldn't say its a travel cot. I think did see a replacement mat available when i ordered this. I may go ahead and order the replacement mat portion for a few years down the road while its available because the cats love it so much it going to get a lot of wear. My dog is crazy for this bed. I have now purchased 3. One for my bedroom, living room and downstairs office. During the winter I put a quilt in them and the summer when it is warm I take them out. I have 3 regular beds for her that she will not use. She is just 1 year old and a 70 pound English cream retriever who loves to spend a great deal of back time and this cot is perfect. I purchased the first one and was moving it each night because she is crazy for this. We have had no problem with her chewing these or ripping them at all. They all look new yet. She also no longer wants her kennel because she wants her cot. After 6 months she no longer used her kennel, but we do leave her in my office and living room when we go and have had no problems. She is a huge chewer, but actually sleeps in her cot when we are gone. She is crazy when we get home, but I am so happy she is a good girl when we are gone. I believe this bed is perfect for my girl. We got a puppy. We wanted a place for her to lay down or rest out when we are outside. I read in another review this would probably be the size needed when their puppy is grown. I purchased two of these raised beds (large size) for my two large 8 year old Labradors (55 & 60 pounds) about 18 months ago. I am impressed on the durability of the mesh and very happy with the strong, yet light weight frames. These beds keep my dogs clean, and are easy to keep clean and fresh with a spray of my garden hose. I can easily move them inside when night time temp drop. They support my older large dogs, (cradle them) keep them comfortable, and off the ground. One of my dogs likes to scratch the surface before she lies in her bed, and has shredded many CostCo and Sam's Club plush beds at $40-$60 within a couple months. After 18 months of daily use, she finally tore a few small holes in the mesh cover…I was very pleased that the replacement mesh covers were only $11 each. I cannot tell you how much I like this bed! The value for the price is tremendous! Friends have purchased similar but much higher priced dog beds that have not held up nearly as well. After 5+ years of use and abuse by 100+ lb. dogs, 80+ lb. kids, and a few cats (one of which loved to sharpen his claws on the cover) I have finally had to replace the cover. The new cover went on easily and looks great. I would recommend this dog bed to anyone with the caveat that it may rust and the screws will 'freeze up' if left out in the weather. Mine has spent most of its life outside, but under a deep eave. It gets wet, but not soaked. It gets direct sun, but only in the very late afternoon. Two of the 4 screws would not budge when I changed the cover – luckily, only one on each end – but I suspect a little WD-40 would have solved that problem. Knockoffs have wrong sizes, they don't last a year in the AZ sun, poorly made, cheap materials. That is what you get when you DO NOT buy OEM! The Coolaroo OEM cover costs maybe $3-$5 more than a knockoff, but lasts 2-3 years, compared to 6 months, so do the math, how many do you buy in 3 years? SIX? or ONE? Coolaroo covers are heavy duty, well stitched, still hard to install, but that is a condition of the design. When I finished installing two new covers, the dogs circled me during the assembly, waiting to see which one could get the first one! As soon as I put it down, they were on it and when the winner got his, they came back to me, circling as I replaced the second cover. Wash, rinse, complete! On it!! I don't know how many of these beds I have tossed once the cover wore out. Finally, someone got it right and sells a replacement cover. The metal frame lasts forever, so it's crazy to have to buy an entire new bed when the cover gets worn. Shipping was fast (my dog was skunked, and rubbed it on the bed), since it is so hot, we needed a new cover asap…thanks for getting it here so quick, he is back to being cool once again.Donna

we all love this raised bed. this is our second one, the first one we purchased several years ago and is holding up so well (it still looks new!). we take it outside during the day for our two fur-babies to sit on it and then move it all over the yard if they prefer sun versus shade. the second one will be for inside the house in our hu-man seating area so they feel like they have a seat that's just theirs. great design with the legs, they never collapse when they jump on it (and one of them often uses it for added height when they play)….unlike other raised bed designs that fold like a beach chair but then collapse when jumped on. easy to assemble.Stacia
This is a good quality product that I am hoping will last a good many years. Was quite difficult to assemble in terms of getting the last bolt in and required two pairs of hands. I don't know how the assembly process could be improved as the bed surface needs to be under tension which is what makes the final assembly a little problematic. The biggest issue is around registering the product to take advantage of the guarantee. For Europe, you have to register on the Canada/USA site and of course the form is geared for zip codes not UK address formats. I ended up on a chat session with them and still have no confirmation of the registration of the purchase. A very frustrating and time consuming process for something which should be a lot easier.Stuart F

I just received the dog bed. The minute it came out the box, my dog was interested. My dog is getting old and has difficulty getting off the bed and couch. His hips hurt him and this is just the right height and length to accommodate him. He is 75 lbs and almost 3 ft long. He loves his bed. I also bought a plush pillow which I lay on top as an additional cushion for comfort. The bed opens up fast and easy and it can be stored away. It closes up to a 2 feet tall height.
