One of my dogs sometimes gets itchy skin, no other issues with her skin she just gets itchy. I figured it would be nice if I could find a shampoo to help her out. This one does the trick. She seems much more comfortable after her baths and I love how clean it gets all my dogs. Its very easy to lather up and it rinses clean. The smell is great if youre into fruity…if you dont like fruity itd be best to skip this one. Have you ever had a Pillsbury orange cinnamon roll? The frosting this is the frosting in a bottle. It smells great and no wet dog smell after the bath and I wash everything but her face. She's an amstaff so she sheds but is very short haired not sure if that makes a difference. There is no skin irration or stomach irration (since we all know dogs lick themselves more after a bath.) We just towel dry no blowers here (she's a scaredy cat lol) followed up with the strawberry yogurt leave in conditioner (smells like Quakers strawberry and cream instant oat meal) and she is so soft. A very good moisturizer, maybe a little heavy for me in the summer months. I usually use the oil-free gel cream in the summer, Iâll have to give this a try in the drier months. I usually use it at night now before bed, it works well. I just find it oily for my skin type. So if you find you have oiler skin, maybe use this at night time only or use very little product. bought this in anticipation of getting our pup and have been using it ever since we got him. he is a golden retriever, who is now 5 months, and it works great. his coat is super soft and shiny, and we we get compliments on how fluffy and soft he is all the time (and also cause heâs one handsome boy!). it also isnât too perfumey, but just enough that he smells fresh and clean. will definitely continue to get this for him, wish it came in a larger, value size (or if they made refills for it so better eco friendly packaging) cause i foresee us going through a ton of it onceâs heâs fully grown!seattleL
I don't really believe adverts but this product does what it says. I noticed some comments saying that it's just a moisturizer but for some people like myself it took a long time to find "the right one". Most lightweight moisturizers end with my skin being back to dry in about half an hour max whereas heavier creams leave behind a very oily feeling skin. We used this on our French bulldog after he went swimming in an algae filled canal. We were advised in the shop that this would be better for sensitive skin, and would have a less strong smell. It lathered well, smelled nice and most importantly it got all the muck off him and left him smelling lovely and fresh. We also noticed that he was licking his paws a lot less. Personally I liked that it was too strongly scented, I do agree that the lid for the shampoo is a poor fit, but other than that I think it's a really good productkaty
The shampoo conditioner and fragrance all smell really nice. The shampoo and conditioner have a thick luxurious feel to them. It is a 16 ounce bottle, the scent I got was the [oatmeal. I really like these shampoos are tested on humans first! Not on our cute furry friends! This shampoo has a nice subtle smell which fades nicely after a few days and keeps your furry friend soft and clean. I found that it definitely keeps their coat soft and doesn't dry out their skin. If your dog is suffering from chronic skin allergies or infections this will not cure that! It is only good for soft fur and good smelling, clean pets! Her thick kinky hair holds in dirt and the smell. Bathing her ourselves she doesnât dry fast enough and ends up getting the wet dog smell. So I tired this and itâs AMAZING! I will be using this in between groomer sessions forever on now and maybe try it with our German Shepherd. Itâs be a little over 24hrs and she still smells great. Also, i feel like this isnât just for smell. This also cleans the hair and got dirt out of her hair. I had to use probably more than recommended but it got her clean. Used it on my German Shepherd Dog who is going through the shedding stage now. I normally don't bath her but three times per year, being she is a healthy female she doesn't have hardly any odor except if she gets wet. Then for some strange reason she smells like a dog. However, I had just bathe her with another shampoo two weeks prior to using DermAllay and it left her coat and skin looking dry and she had what looked like dandruff for the first time ever. (Other groomer had a different oatmeal shampoo she carried… this groomer buys one kind in bulk and special shampoos can be brought in) He did well in terms of the new groomer and this shampoo had NO adverse reactions to the most sensitive poodle of the 4 I've had! I am sure this shampoo would of been nice but the whole order and exsperience with this company was ruined when they shipped my several bottles of shampoo in with treats made from intestines of buffalo that smell like fecal material so strongly it permeates the plastic shampoo bottles. I still can't get the bottles of shampoo I ordered to release the poop smell that premeditated the plastic bottles. So disappointed they where mailed together in same pouch! My little morky is allergic to flea bites and if even one gets on her she will start scratching and all her hair starts falling out yntil we do something to get them off her which is usually a pill and a good bath to clean off the eggs this shampoo does exactly what its advertised to do and I hope they never stop making it.
