I was so happy to find this item. The description states "Recommended for pets 65 to 110 lbs" but I wanted a dog bed with more body so I purchased this for my two dogs to share – one weighing 45 one weighing 55 pounds. They both take turns using it. I have a few beds at different places on the floor, and was looking for one that was waterproof. This wonderful item is thick, but comfortable enough for my senior dogs, and has a nice cover which unzips on TWO sides making removal and putting back on so easy. (If you have struggled with those pads that require stuffing in the inner pad you know what I mean.) The outer cover washes nicely (I zip it almost completely closed and wash on gentle, being careful not to catch any loose threads into the zipper.) There is a separate inner cover made of a plastic type material which also zips on, but you probably would not be taking that off as you could wipe it clean if needed. This water resistant liner is a must have!! I was washing my 130lb Great Dane's bed cover almost weekly but also would put the memory foam mattress on porch to air out because it would start to smell like sweaty dog. Since putting this liner on, no more sweaty smell. Biggest plus is how easy it was to put on and how much easier it is to put the bed cover on over the mattress. These beds are great quality. I have 2 springer spaniels that used to eat there beds. They also like to go out swimming in the ponds and come in soaking wet. Their current beds are 2 years old and when they get dirty I hose them off and they look great. No chew holes, but after 2 years i thought they needed some backups when they come in all sloppy. The bed is well made, washable and durable. But it stays "inflated" to the point that my dog is afraid to step on it. The inner filling creates an air pocket and the solution to making the air pocket deflate is to leave the zipper open and push out the air. But as soon as I zip it back up, the air pocket is there again. Not sure the answer but my big dog doesn't like the instability or wobble created by displacing the air pocket. Our puppy loves her waterproof round dog bed! At first, I was worried because she dug at it repeatedly. I thought she was going to ruin it quickly. Nope! It's find and she eventually stopped the digging. You can see some of her nail marks but maybe those will disappear when washed. Excellent quality waterproof cover with zip. Somehow it traps quite a bit of air in it and our dog didn't want to lay on it as it slowly deflates when you put pressure on any part of it. It reinflates once the pressure is off… Our indoor bed hadn't arrived yet and we needed him to use this for a few days, so we took off the outside waterproof cover, which had been exacerbating the deflating issue and we covered it with a towel. The deflating decreased by half and made for a very luxurious pillow to sleep on. The $70 "waterproof" liners are NOT waterproof. A spill right in the middle of the XL bed went straight thru the cover and "waterproof" liner and got the foam wet. The foam does not dry out once wet!! I went on their website to order another "waterproof" liner thinking maybe mine is defective. I saw that it was $70 so I decided to look for a promo code.
They texted me that I left my item in the cart and here is a $25 promo code. I went back to use it and it didn't work.
I messaged them that it didn't work and they said it's because there's a $105 minimum. I told them that they messaged me saying they saw my cart and here's $25 off. All she said sorry for the inconvenience. I told her the liner isn't waterproof and instead of complaining I was going to order another one.
Her suggestion was to add more to my cart to use the code she sent.
I told her I was going to post screenshots and a review and she said, "okay, let me know if you need help"

My Miniature Schnauzer 7 month old puppy loves this bed and she loves sleeping in it in our living room. We bought the large size not realizing how big it was but our dog still loves sleeping in it. We also bought the large pad for the bottom of the bed and now it seems very warm and comfortable for our pup. Our dog is very rough on her beds…she likes to pick up and shake and toss her beds around. This bed is heavy and not easily tossed. I think it will last her a long time.
