Also get the Allerzip mattress protectors and spray alcohol and on carpet and mattress sprinkle baking soda and let it stand 3 days and vacuum after that and repeat the process and then wash everything in room in hot water and dryer and clean walls and all with Clorox wipes and have someone come do a deep clean on the carpet and watch them disappear. We placed the coasters up each of the 4 bed post. By the next day we saw a few little critters in the middle plastic slot just like the ad said. They could crawl up the first lip but can't go any further. These really do work!!! In our case we found out the problem when we bought a new mattress. We left the new mattress in our living room with the plastic on. I completely vacuumed the bedroom and washed the floor and bed railings. I then sprayed around the baseboard with beg bug spray. A few days later I caulked the base board top and bottom. I also read that double side tape would stop them so I rapped that around each of the bed post and also placed it in a few other spots + also taped any wall outlets. ** You should also gather all your bed sheets and blankets into a large garbage bag and at least run them threw the dryer 30 minutes (we did 40) to kill them off, they can't take the heat. Also, we have nothing on the floor in this room either. Next time we come back from vacation everything gets washed and our suitcases get sprayed before they come into our house.Jeff

It works. You must spray all the cracks and all rooms bugs may have traveled. They can travel on people, clothing, and luggage undetected. It can take weeks to fully eradicate them according to pest control experts. As I sprayed, there was 1 bedbug that was moving. When I sprayed it, it just stopped. Even removing it from the pillow, it never moved. I had seen other carcasses of dead bugs. I am reviewing this product for Walmart. I received it around the date after I was requested to review it, so this is only 2 days after use. I researched the product before I used it. The product is made from Neem Oil, a widely used plant based insecticide made from the seeds of the Neem Oil tree. Product is 5.5% neem oil, balance is "other" which I assume includes water. Anything else is a guess. Used on a variety of foods. I followed the instructions and sprayed on the mattress and box spring after removing sheets and mattress covers (I use a waterproof and regular covers for baby grand-daughter). Comes in a spray bottle, you use 1oz per 1 to 3 sq. feet, which was hard to judge. There was no caution , but I wore gloves and a mask since the smell was supposed to be strong. Not as bad as I expected. The instructions said to close off the area for 4 hours and then air out. I waited 5 hours. Easy to air out. You can reuse 1-2 weeks as needed. If you have bed bugs, this is a easy to use, seemingly safer option. Can't really say anything about results since its 2 days. It is widely used.Grandpa

First, I want to tell people that this is an insecticide. PLEASE open up the label on the back of the bottle and read AND FOLLOW the instructions inside!!! I am a Master Gardener and have been taught the importance of insecticides – but, mostly, to open the labels and follow the instructions exactly… Second, I want to say that the active ingredient in this is Cold-Pressed Neem Oil. Neem Oil is a plant-based substance that is also used to kill insects on food crops. I consider it safe as long as it is used correctly. I don't have bed bugs but I know that dust mites are everywhere. Especially on upholstered, fabric covered items. So I treated every pillow in my home which are on sofas, chairs, beds… (about 17). I didn't actually see any dust mites or see them dying but I have every confidence that this spray (made out of Neem Oil) killed them!!! The spray is naturally plant-based but the instructions call for an airing-out period after the item has been sprayed. So I waited for the pillows to dry for a period of time before allowing any people or pets to lay on them… The spray does have a strong (but not unpleasant) fragrance which dissipates while the sprayed item is drying. It keeps a slight, fresh fragrance after it is dried. My cocker uses this as a play mat in the living room. Since he is not allowed on the sofa or carpet, this pad is for him to sit/lay comfortably while he hangs out with the family. It's padded enough to keep him comfortable and happy on the hard ceramic floors of our house. I've noticed that it's not padded enough for him to sleep comfortably through the night. After 3 or 4 hours, he'll go to his plush bed to get real sleep. My dog loved the mat as soon at it arrive. He knew it was his right when I was taking it out of the box. The mat arrived quickly and packaged well. No damage and in perfect condition. Once I took it out of the plastic and set it on the floor, it was ready to go. As a play mat, it can't be better. it's stain and odor resistant. My dog has oily skin that tends to be on the smellier side and I don't really see it affecting the mat much. The mat is black so I can't see the oily shadow that would usually appear on other dog beds I buy for my dog. The bottom is slip resistant. My cocker sheds and I like that the hairs don't stick to it. I can easily vacuum the mat with the crevice tool on my vacuum. I've had it a month and other than the rawhide/saliva marks that are left on it after a couple long chewing sessions, the bed still looks new. I just take some water, a toothbruch, and baby wipes to the rawhide/saliva marks and after some light brushing and wiping, it's clean again. I want to get a smaller one for my car. Excellent product. Bought this to go with the crate. Winced at first when I saw the price but in the end well worth it. Comfortable and has a raised ridge to contain spills should you have one. Easy to clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. Have not put it In Washing machine. I had an awful fruit fly problem that came out of nowhere, for a couple weeks I was killing 40-50 flies a day with vinegar and sticky traps. I mixed this 1oz Gentrol concentrate in a gallon of Ortho Home defense, and sprayed everywhere, around door frames, baseboards, under cabinets, and around sinks (not on actual food prep surfaces of course). by the 2nd day I was down to single-digits for flies a day, and today I can say there are NONE remaining, aweseome! They are brown in color, have 6 legs and a oval body. Bed bug bites affect different people in different ways – some people don't notice they have been bitten, while others may develop swelling or itchy red welts similar to mosquito bites. Storage and Disposal: Storage: Store in a cool, dry area. Do not store above 120 degrees F. Disposal: Wrap and seal detector in a plastic bag and place in outside trash. Tips: Early detection is critical to solving bed bug problems. Look for bed bugs in tufts and seams of mattresses, behind the headboard and in cracks and crevices of the bed frame. If you see signs of bed bugs, wash linens, blankets and bed covers in hot water. Dry using the high heat setting for 30 minutes. For delicate items, you can use the low to medium heat settings. Vacuum carpet around the bed and furniture suspected to be infested. Remove as many bugs and eggs as possible, immediately wrap and seal vacuum bag in a plastic bag and dispose in outside trash.

The RAID Bed Bug detector and trap is honestly one of the greatest products I could have purchased. My first impression is that I would be able to know early on whether there is an infestation at home, while traveling, or elsewhere and it can be treated proactively. I awoke to a bed bug crawling on my queen sized bed and flicked it off onto the ground this morning after placing multiple traps on the floor and between the mattress and box spring. At first I thought the traps were likely not as effective since my mattress rests on the floor. So, I found the bug and steered it to the trap with my cellphone "flashlight" to make it want to hide in the trap. I watched for several minutes as it struggled to climb up to the raised sticky interior section, get too worn out, then walk back out and this was an ADULT BED BUG! I have used Raid products for decades as does my mother, but this one should go back to the drawing board. For those of you who just happened to catch them in your home, I wonder how many more might have gone free. There's no telling how many of those blood sucking fugitives are lurking about. I'm so glad they were on clearance and that Target only had one box left because I could have lost way more money had I stocked up expecting they would work well.
