Made with heavy duty nylon the anti slip collar is impossible for my dogs to escape from making it great for training and everyday use. A 6 ft leash is perfect for nature walks however when we are in public the "traffic handle" is just the right length to ensure safe walking in a crowd or near traffic. Whenever I buy collars online I’m always a little hesitant because I’m never sure of the quality. Once this collar came in I was pleasantly surprised and extremely happy with not only the superior quality but also the color. The greens are a stark contrast to the black, and it’s incredibly pretty in person. My pup was able to wear it for the whole day and she didn’t try to chew on it like she has other collars in the last. It's hard to find a decent fitting collar that doesn't become loose from being walked on a leash or just moving in general. I really like the martingale style. It says put and doesn't become loose. I have purchased a few of the martingale in different designs. The only downfall is that the collars become worn and fade fast. I purchased 3 total collars, one for a rescued mom beagle, and 2 for her beagle/dachshund mix pups which are all indoor/outdoor. The collars have faded and become tattered within a few months. They are either inside, or go outside to the kennel or use the bathroom. They don't go off running in the woods or do anything super crazy. Maybe it's to be expected due to the material it's made from. But paying approximately $15 for a collar, I would hope it would stay in good condition. I just rescued another pup and will probably purchase another for her just because I love the martingale style. So giving it 4/5 stars due to the fact that they become worn and tattered rather fast.Kim

I rescued a 70 lb lab who is leash-reactive to other dogs. This presented a huge issue as we live in a very dog-friendly complex and we would come across numerous dogs anytime we went out. After he pulled me down 3 times (injuring my wrist and ribcage) I decided to give this a try. I had no idea if I needed a 1 or 1.5 inch collar but decided to err on the side of the wider one. We have only used it for 2 days and it has already made a huge difference. It offers so much control that it is easy much easier to get him to move away from the other dogs and I am able to keep him under control so that I am not worried he will knock me over. I've been looking for a collar that can handle my super strong dog for months. I ordered a collar from Amazon and he literally snapped the cheap metal where his leash was hooked. It took me forever to find a collar that looked like it might be strong enough for him. This one seems perfect so far. It's hard to find a decent fitting collar that doesn't become loose from being walked on a leash or just moving in general. I really like the martingale style. It says put and doesn't become loose. I have purchased a few of the martingale in different designs. The only downfall is that the collars become worn and fade fast. I purchased 3 total collars, one for a rescued mom beagle, and 2 for her beagle/dachshund mix pups which are all indoor/outdoor. The collars have faded and become tattered within a few months. They are either inside, or go outside to the kennel or use the bathroom. They don't go off running in the woods or do anything super crazy. Maybe it's to be expected due to the material it's made from. But paying approximately $15 for a collar, I would hope it would stay in good condition. I just rescued another pup and will probably purchase another for her just because I love the martingale style. So giving it 4/5 stars due to the fact that they become worn and tattered rather fast.Kim

Likes: My dog doesn’t mind this collar! It is not too chunky or itchy. It’s a beautiful olive green collar! I am going to be using this collar in addition to a harness. Dislikes: Like any collar, it gets dirty! The light green part gets noticeably dirty but I just wash by hand and it’s back to normal. You have to loosen the collar on your pup to remove it. hi absolutely adore the colors of this color! It's very on trend for right now! I love that it has two shades of green, and makes it very unique! It is great quality that I know is going to last forever! My dogs neck is about 17 inches, and on the smallest setting it's still slightly too large, like 1-2 inches. Even though it's slightly too big it's not like it constantly falls off! not a huge fan of martingale collars in general, but like I said the colors make up for it! When we were first still working on training our recently adopted at the time pup this collar was great. Loved that this Martingale collar came in nice shades of green, before seeing this at Target we had trouble finding ones that were not black or camo due to supply chain issues so that was a nice surprise since the green fit our dog’s personality a little more.
