Whoever has had a problem with PetSafe products? Ok, maybe my dogs do if they sneak out of range setting 6 on the collar will make your dog come off the ground like a bass breaking water setting 4 is definitely enough. I have never had a problem. This wireless system is absolutely amazing and expandable. Going strong 4 years in.McKee Ironworks
I have been using PetSafe for at least 15 years. I wired a half acre lot and I just open the door and out my 2 dogs go and I know they are safe. We live in the middle of Dallas. I really like how it has worked over the years except….. Using the 16 ga. wire supplied, I used to get failure in the system. The receiver box would be beeping and not working. I would have to rewire sections of the wire for it to again work properly. This happened 5 or 6 times until I rewired the whole yard perimeter with 14 ga. wire. The system has never gone down since I did this 6 or 7 years ago. I give this a 5 star rating using 14 ga. wire.Lake
This collar works well with our older Instant Fence unit. We purchased it for our small (9lb) 9 month old pup. It fits her well, and is not to big for her. There is plenty of adjustment in the collar for different sized dogs. The battery life is excellent and she has responded well to wearing it in our yard. I only wish that it had an additional mode for a vibration alert as well as sound. It would also be nice to have a louder sound for us people. When training a small dog I had to bend over to try and hear the alert as we approached the boundary. But in the end, as long as the dog hears the sound, that's all that matters. Great way to keep your pet safe in your yard. When I called pet safe for information, the customer service rep. was very helpful in choosing the right collar for our needs. That helped a lot.3 pines

Only took 2-3 sessions and 2 mild static corrections to have my frisky Doberman trained! She loves to bolt into the woods at the first sign of this stray cat and nothing has been able to prevent it until now. I even let her out without the collar and she stays in the designated area. I heard that the battery dies quickly on the collar so when she is not outside, I take the battery out of the collar to lengthen the battery life. It's been 6 months and still on the original battery. If you live in a condo/townhouse, you may have to get creative with the base placement since the radius is a circle.dgoleno
This system of pet containment is one of the best things we've purchased and have been using for years. We have 2 transmitters at home and 2 more at a vacation cottage. 2 allows for a larger area for dogs by over lapping fields of coverage. This transmitter purchase was to replace one that finally failed.denistonsfeldt
We currently rent our home so putting up fencing is not an option for us. This wireless fence allows us to let our dog enjoy some perceived freedom. The system works very well and keeps our pup confined to our yard. Batteries in the collar have to be changed on a regular basis. If not, you may find yourself chasing down an overjoyed dog who intentionally runs through every puddle in your neighborhood. I highly recommend this product especially if fencing is cost prohibitive or not an option for you and your pet.kathie5172

We did not receive a set of instructions. It is hard for us to dial in in a good parameter for our Chloe. Some areas of the yard the collar works & some of them do not. One time she can ride in the car with no problems & other times the collar went off 1/2 mile from the house while in the car. It would be nice to have a set of instructions.MeMaw T

We have a 2 year old friendly lab who loves to walk in the road and go visit neighbors. This wireless fence has been a great solution and has kept her safe as well as save our sanity. She has plenty of room to roam in our yard but we no longer worry about her going in the street or running up to neighbors out walking. Took 2 days to train and has worked perfectly every day since. We also travel frequently and can take the system with us and keep her contained in other yards or at a beach house, etc. All you need is a single electric outlet. We have the collar batteries auto-delivered every other month, as the one on the collar seems to last a little over 75 days. PetSafe Response Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We are so happy to hear the Wireless Fence system is working so well for you and your pet. I have a pup that is a large breed, he looks like I been feeding him steak and potatoes cause he's so dang big. He is ALL puppy though. Chews on everything loves running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Been trying to train him to chill with me, yeah, right. He wants to play. And because he wants to play, he wants to run every stinkin where. Decided, for my sanity as well as his safety, I'd get this thing. Put the flags out, set it on a low static charge, and it didn't take long before he figured it out. You DO have to WORK a dog with this. It's not just a plug it up and watch their hair shoot up when they get popped. Walked him around the perimeter for 7 days, he sees and sniffs the flags. After that, I let him run around, and he got popped maybe 3 times, and figured it out. Now he's pretty dang happy, and I can let him rip around with zoomies while I work in the yard. He likes the freedom of being off leash in the yard, and like the fact that he's not road burger.SlimslowShady

I have a 2 yr old LARGE French Mastiff that weighs 180ish! I bought with the (red in color) “stubborn” collar. We previously installed a wired underground fence. (Which I have to mention took 2 FULL DAYS TO INSTALL AND READY TO USE!!) My Bo would realize he was close to the boundary, take a step or two back then take a run right through it, with no second thought!!! We watched him do this several times. I guess he was thinking, well this is going to hurt but only for a few short seconds. Idk?? But it did NOT phase him one bit! I had talked to 4 or 5 people that had this system, so reluctantly I decided to give it a try. I thought to myself well if it doesn’t work I will simply return it, no harm no foul. My boyfriend had it installed and collar on Bo in 30 mins flat. We walked ole hard-headed Bo around maybe 4 times to show him the boundaries. Once he heard the beeping, he kept walking then he felt the shock 1 time and that must have been enough because he never ventured close again! It has been about 2 months of use and I would give it 100 STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION! We live in a subdivision where houses are fairly close. I was ultimately worried that the zone would lead into the neighboring yard. (which was the #1 thing we are trying to prevent) And although it may, Bo doesn’t even attempt to go that far. I believe he now understands to stay in his own yard! Living in a subdivision, many people take walks and Bo just sits and watches them now!! Matter of fact, just to see, we have sent him outside WITHOUT the collar and ironically enough HE STAYS IN OUR YARD!! The ONLY complaint I have is the small clear piece on the collar broke off the first time I went to adjust the strength of the shock. So far it hasn’t effected anything so fingers crossed on that! Just an FYI, we set ours on a level 3 to begin with and my boyfriend was ready to give up, so I told him to have some patience and we just kept adjusting the level on the collar and we ended up discovering for Bo he needed to be set on a #6. Again, I repeat he weighs 180 lbs, and the Mastiff bread is KNOWN for their stubbornness. I would suggest starting at the lowest level for a smaller dog PLEASE! But, if you are hesitant as myself, about this system just give it a try AND I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SO SURPRISED!!!!! I love this system, and just hope that it lasts!!!!!!Owner of French Mastiff

We installed the in ground wire around the perimeter of our property. I have one dog that digs under our fence and one that climbs the fence. These collars keep our dogs away from the fence and keeps them from running out into the street. We have had our fence for 5 years now and only replaced the collars once because I misplaced them. Batteries need replacement every few months. I like that the dogs get a beeping warning once they are within a few feet of the perimeter and only get shocked if they cross the boundary.fldolphinmc
I have a lab / hound mix that is 11 years old and she weighs about 85lbs. We began usin this collar since April 2017 and within 3 months, one of the prongs broke off. We contacted petsafe and were told that this is an uncommon problem and that the only way this could happen is due to "rough play, hitting it against an object, over-tightening the probes, etc." I have a hard time believing our senior aged dog plays rough enough to break the prongs of a durably made product. If you have a larger / sporting breed dog, i would steer clear of this product and go with Invisible Fence or the SportDOG brand from another retailer. They seem to cater to larger / sporting breeds. PetSafe Response Thank you for taking the time to share your review, Robert. We are sorry to hear you have experienced this issue with your In-Ground UltraLight Collar; we understand how frustrating this can be. Please know that this is not a normal experience and that our products do come with a full year warranty. We want to work with you to provide a fair resolution for this issue. We have reached out to you privately to discuss the best replacement options for your collar. Hopefully we can work to make you feel better about your product and get your dog back out in the yard!Robert
We've had our fence under a year, no problems with the actual fence. We have 2 dogs on the fence, 1 is an English Mastiff and the other is a Cocker Spaniel. The Cocker Spaniel's clip/closure cracked and broke off so we had to go out and search almost an acre of property to find it. We did find it but it is a PAIN to have to go out and search for a collar that you would not expect to break. Recently our English Mastiff has been strolling off the property, she has never done that in the almost year we have had it. First think I did was check the battery and decided to be safe we would change it!! That didn't work so I decided to take off the collar and check it to make sure it worked and it does but there are certain times when it don't. I have it on the highest frequency and I'm hoping this works, I will keep you informed. But us like others are missing the clear caps that cover the button to change the frequency. I don't understand how these pieces can come off unless we take them off, this tells me that there is a malfunction in your manufacturing if we are not the only ones missing these caps!! Then to top it off, you sell these clear caps and expect us to pay for them, something doesn't seem right. If you know these clear caps come off, shouldn't you be trying to fix this issue and offer those caps or free? Rich T

This took my husband and I about a couple of evenings to install. You bury the lead wire around the perimeter you don't want your fur baby to cross and the collar is light and works nicely! I have a jack Russel/Chihuahua that likes to snoop and sneak out of the yard and this little device has solved that problem. I only needed to use the tone mode and that worked fabulously. I bought an additional collar for my blue heeler. She is a bit more strong willed and faster, so static mode worked for her. I'm thankful for this! It gives me peace of mind that my furry loved ones are safe.Ohosford
I installed this fence for my dog on a town lot that was around .25 acres. I must say you should definitely read the instructions fully before just starting this installation as you have to do some prep work, and this is not simply a plug and play fence if you want to trench it in. I think if there was an existing fence or something you could probably get away with just hanging the boundary wires directly to it but chances are that is not the case always. In my case I used a spade to kinda make the trench on my laid-out boundary line. I did this after a heavy rain as that made the task by hand much easier than the ground being rock hard like it is when it is dry. I stepped on the ground with my body weight after the installing the wire to kind of tamp the ground back in place and let mother nature do the rest over time to get the ground to settle. I did have to cross my driveway and really just shoved the wire in the expansion joint and shoved it down as far as I could. I just have to be conscience that I do not pierce the wiring when doing my edging. For my lot it took quite a bit of the 500 feet of included wire even though I consider it to be a pretty small lot. My dog has used wireless electric collars before so the training was not so difficult, but I did put out the included flags on the boundary line during training to make sure the boundary training went smoothly. The collar fit my dog nicely. As far as hooking up the boundary lines to the transmitter it was easy. I installed the plug-in wall unit in my garage and actually drilled a hole through a brick wall to get the boundary wire outside. I used caulk to seal off the hole with the wire to protect the weather and critters getting into my garage through the access hole. As I mentioned that since I have used wireless systems with my dog before the training was minimal and the system is working nicely.Country Man
We do not have a fence in our backyard and have to constantly leave our Poodle on a 30 foot leash when she runs around backyard. But I hate that she is even on a leash and can't run and live free. This fence is a perfect solution since we can not afford to install a proper yard fence. We set up the boundaries and it was easy to follow directions. I purchased the cat collar since she is a 8lb poodle this collar is much more soft and less bulky for her to wear daily. We put on vibration mode and she has been trained easily to remain in the property boundaries. I love the PetSafe Classic in ground fence. I highly recommend.Orlandomama

One day is all it took for my escape artist to stay in the yard. We now know that our fur-babies are safe in thier own area, Sure beats running home several times a day to round them up. Very easy to install, took us about 4 hours from start to finish. We did not bury the wire (one is a digger) but put it into PVC around the yard. It protects the wire from lawnmowers, weed eaters and digging. The wite PVC also serves as a reminder to the dogs that it is the line in the sand to not cross. It was easy to put the wire around a herb garden to keep themy from jumping on it, My big guy will bolt to the corner of the yard but hits the brakes hard within five feet of the line. I set up the white flags around the yard so they will know where to stop. The directions were easy to understand and online had pictures to give us ideas and how tho set off areas. I would recommend the stubborn big dog to anyone who needs to contain their babies.jamieladie

By far the best price that I could find. The UltraLight Receiver Collar was in perfect shape and in excellent working order. The only condition issue was that the battery was nearly dead. I installed a new battery and it's working great a month later. Money savings will buy a life time of batteries.19galaxie66

Our dog has a thing with getting up on our cupboards so we decided to get this to try and see if it would keep him off. I have to say the results are amazing. We put the wire on the edge of our cupboards and ran it along to the plug. The installation was very easy. I have to say it is working flawlessly. The first night we heard a yelp in the middle of the night, assuming he got shocked and some of our food from the cupboard was on the floor but by day 3 he learned his lesson and did not get on the cupboards. It is so awesome to be able to leave our bread on the cubpoards and not have to worry about the dog getting to it (our dog loves bread). We will be leaving it ont the cupboards for about a month just to make sure he doesnt get on it and then we will be putting it outside in the front yard to keep him in the yard. I love that we can use this without having to put in an actual fence. I love how this comes with everything you need and that it is rechargable. Its great quality and works perfctly. I definetly recommend it.jen2k
This fence works great, but it was finicky to set up. The wires have to be inserted just the right distance, but not too far or the box thought the wire loop was broken. It took us a while to figure that out. In the process the spring popped out of one of the wire clamps so it was useless, but we found the spring and my husband was able to fix it. I really wish there was just a screw we could wrap the wire around and tighten, which would feel much more stable. Everytime we moved the thing, the wires popped out, up till we got it into it's final resting space. We're a little worried the box will get bumped and a wires will come loose again. I will say that when we thought the device wasn't working, the PetSafe team replied to my e-mail within minutes, and on a Sunday. I was super impressed with the fast customer support. We've been using it for almost 2 weeks, counting training time, and our hound foster now stops about 8 feet from the fence he was previously jumping, which is about when he should be hearing the beep. We keep the collar next to the back door and turned off, unless we're putting the dog out. We haven't needed to charge it yet.Erin M
After being in our new home for around two months now and finally had a weekend free my husband and I decided to set up the inground fence. We have one femal dog roughly around 65 lbs that is fairly obedient and really just loves going outside between early morning and late evening. This kit comes nicely packaged with instructions and seems fairly understandable to figure out. You can also look up any trouble shooting online which I highly recommend along with training your dog before hand as that plays an important roll. It comes with everything needed to get started and you can purchase an extra collar or wire on line per animal if needed. I'm really only focusing on my backyard so this is more than enough to get me started as were literally going along the yard with no trees or bushes in the way. It also states that you can place it to an existing fence which I thought was pretty nice. I suggest two people working together as one digs and the other places the wire in the ground behind them. We layed the wire on top of the ground to determine were we wanted it to be and make any last adjustments before we started and we were able to finished in a day and a half with my son helping us towards the end. My husband took care of hooking the wire up and let me place the collar on our dog. We started out slowly and she did really good but started to follow her dad around front while on setting one which is just the tone so we went back and read directions and realized our mistake. We will start at two and up it one at a time during the next few weeks till she gets the concept and doesn't do it again. I can tell you at two when we first tried I don't know what she thought but it did take her by surprise and wasn't something she was use to so I think shes realizing not to go past the flag zone. The good thing is it's enough to startle her but without harming her or make her hate me. I'm still in the training mode and with her being an older dog I'm going a little slower since she gets so scared easily. This is going to be nice letting her out while I'm getting ready in the morning and giving her more room to roam and come back in on her time. One good thing to is thankfully we have a window that we can run the wire through at the corner to connect to the transmitter since it has to be connected indoors. The fence transmitter has a piece that's slides off so you can screw to the wall. Overall we made a few simple mistakes but it was fairly easy to set up and I feel better knowing she can enjoy the outdoors having more space to sniff and not run off! I highly recommend as it doesn't hurt your animal and gives them more freedom to move around!Amberrose1980

I have had this for 9 years. I had to buy a new receiver, but other than that it is working every day as it should. We breed and raise Chocolate Labs, and even the hardest head is discouraged from going through the field. The radius adjustment works just the way it should. I have just recommended this to my brother-in-law for his golden retriever. Also we live on a hill and it works even when dogs are about 10 feet below the transmitter.Yonko
We have purchase 2 of these units fairly pricy units (the work as advertised) in the last 2 plus years, but they don't last. Both of the previous units stopped working just past their "limited warranty"!!! Now we are forced to drive to Petco this evening and purchase a 3rd unit due to our investment in additional collars for our dogs. We can't leave our dogs unprotected. Very Disappointedgleifester
Instructions were unclear. The test light tool is poorly designed, very awkward to use. It didn't beep when trying to set up the boundary, and if the test light was supposed to light up at some point, it didn't. But the indicator light on the collar flickered a little, but results weren't consistent. I crawled around on the lawn for a long time, trying to keep the collar at the level of a puppy's neck while trying to hold the test light in place. Why didn't they make it so the test light clips onto the contacts? I tried using a variety of F words, but that didn't work, so I gave up and took it back.

Works just perfect for my little Chihuahua.morrius_hrb3zzyf
I purchased 2 collars for my small dogs. 1 of my dogs is yorkie size, the other a bit larger. The fit seems nice for the 5 lb dog. Since I have 3 dogs, I have a few concerns: 1.) I'm worried the rubberized collar will get ruined because they like to tackle each other by the collars (their regular collars). Petsafe said I should try the Cat collar which uses the same receiver and has a nylon strap which "can" be replaced if it should become damaged. Little Dog version is all one unit and you'll need to replace the whole collar and receiver as one unit. 2.)I set our boundry up using a Comfort-Fit collar for a big dog. The boundry is different for the two types of collars. My little dogs have to be almost on top of the wire before they get a tone compared to my big dog being almost 8 feet from the wire. So the flags are not a consistent distance for the little dogs. A Little Dog collar would have been fine for my big dog given his temperment. Not sure how long the battery life will be. Seems cumbersome to turn the receiver on after rotating it off to conserve battery life. Then, to be sure the collar is on after I rotate it to "On", I press the small control button to see if the light flashes which will let you know the receiver is on, you must be certain the level of correction did not change. Not too big a deal if you don't mind your dog getting a stronger correction. See, I want to take the collars off from time to time and then turn them off. But if you are in a hurry to let doggie out to go, you will have too much to do…at least for me with multiple dogs. Another concern is the dogs pressing the small control button while they are playing. Not sure on that yet. They may get the shock of their lives. I think this collar is a nice solution for little dogs. But also take a look at the Cat collar for your little poochie…Petsafe collars work with almost all Petsafe trasmitters (exception is the wireless and "Invisible Fence" brands). I'm going to give the cat collar a try, but it seems only avail. on-line. *I've called Petsafe customer support about 5 times and have had short to no wait times. The reps were informative and polite each time.ForeverFriend
I have used the wire fencing for pet containment. Excellent collar for small dogs.stombaughbl

Reviews:
I bought this for my Great Pyrenees, I have had sooo many issues with the collars. Either not holding the charge, turning off randomly or the shocking feature just not working. My dog will never learn to stay around and the boundary without the collar because it’s in their nature as a breed, so without it he would be running all around. I still check on him often because I do not totally trust the system to not fail. I try to have it on the largest setting for him to have ample space- but the hills of my yard, and the metal roof mess with it constantly. Some days he has a nice size area, other days he walks right past the house and gets beeped. It’s okay- I am hoping for our next house it won’t need to be used. With all the issues I’ve had with the collars- thankfully I was under my warranty so I got replacements, it’s not worth the price, and even though it’s working fine right now- it’s still not worth the price since it doesn’t give him the freedom I hoped for since the land and the roof seem to get in its way, per customer service.Martin16
This product works! It does shock my dog when he gets too far out of range, which is great. My only qualm so far is that the range on my system seems to fluctuate. I walked the perimeter a few times for the initial setup and placed flags down based on when I heard the beeping from the collar, but when my dog wears it, he can go another 10-20 yards before finally getting shocked, while I was getting shocked just outside where I placed the flags. Also, the beeping sound on my collar is probably loud enough for my dog to hear while he’s wearing it, but it is too quiet for me to hear while we are walking in the dried leaves with the wind blowing through the trees, and this has made training very difficult. It would be really helpful if the system came with a remote option so that I could have the collar beep or shock exactly when/where I want it to (e.g., when he’s getting very close to the flags and if he continues to walk beyond them) I know this would seem to defeat the purpose of training to the system, but I do think that training would go a lot faster bc I’d have more control in getting him to understand that when the collar beeps, he just needs to pull in a little closer to home. The system just doesn’t cause the collar to start beeping at a consistent radius, and since I can’t hear the beeping, I’m not giving him the immediate feedback he needs in order to understand how to react to that beep. I know this review definitely reads like it is a negative experience, but I will say that when my dog does get shocked, he doesn’t run away, so it works in that regard.Call
My back yard is partially fenced in. We got a new puppy auggie back in February, we named him Tatoe cuz he just looked like a little potato and I like potatoes haha. He has high energy and hates being on a leash of any sort. We tried one of those 30' lines so he could stay outside while we're at work but he hated it, yelped all day, and would get tangled up, poor little guy. My neighbor had complained about his yelping. We've had such a problem with him staying in the yard. He'd dart out the back door and wonder the neighborhood. It was so exhausting chasing him down every time. We contemplated for months to put up a fence. That was going to cost us around $1500 and that was just for the one side of the yard with the treeline "fence." I noticed one day when I was chasing him down that a neighbor's dog was sitting in the front yard watching and not attacking him (that was a big dog). I thought it was odd the dog wasn't running off the property after Tatoe. I saw the collar and it clicked… "I bet that is one of those invisible fences or something." I saw this one and was so excited! We were going to order it online but then I saw it at our local pet store. I love buying local and having it in hand right then. It was so easy to figure out and set up. The instructions said it'd take about a week or so to train the average dog. I set the boundary to 50', set the collar on 3, and put it on Tatoe that night. He takes off outside and hits the boundary. It starts beeping and then I hear him yelping. I see him running to me from the neighbor's back yard. That's seriously all it took. When I went out with him the next day he was very cautious when walking around the yard. At the very first beep he immediately flipped around and came back. I am amazed at how great this is! I'm sure all my neighbors are so much happier now that he's not pooping in their yards or yapping all day. This is the best! I am thankful for it every day. I don't worry about Tatoe outside anymore. It's so worth every dollar!DStewy

Even though I had marked & walked the ½ acre perimeter with Jaxn, our dog, several years ago … I don't understand why he will no longer go under the fence nor will he step a foot outside the raised garage door but I am fine with it! His 1st collar & unit did not stop him but this Rechargeable Collar with the 1st unit does! It will pay for itself in saved batteries during the 1st year. We Thank You and the Neighbours Thank YouChigger2350
I bought this collar about a month ago to go with the base that my husband had. I debated between this one and the battery collar. I chose this one for the charging convenience and the fact that his dog never broke the boundary, despite her testing it regularly and being a bit more of an aggressive dog. I knew it would be a good collar. Recharging only takes a few hours. That is a plus, as I can charge in the evening, quickly, and get the collar back on him. He’s very well trained to the tones and turns right around and backs off as soon as he hears it. I expect to get even longer life from the collar because of that. I’m very happy that he is contained and will not be wandering where he shouldn’t!Susie19

20. Petsafe Stubborn Dog Fence – 20 Gauge Wisewire

Reviews:
We recently got a new Bernese Mountain dog puppy and we have a 7 year old Dachshund mix who we rescued 4 years ago. I received the kit very quickly through the mail. The instructions were pretty simple and I was able to run the cable around the perimeter of my property very quickly for testing it out. Our puppy got corrected about three times before he truly figured it out and learned to stay away from the perimeter. Our Dachshund, who is known for bolting as soon as the door opens, didn't take to it as quickly. "Can't teach an old dog new tricks?" That was not the case. After she ran through the fence a few times, she was scared to go outside at all. Being a rescue from an abused family, this is understandable. After working with her for a week, showing her the boundaries with the shock correction turned off just utilizing the audible correction and the vibration alert, She started to get comfortable outside again and also stayed away from the perimeter. The beep and vibration was enough to get her attention and she returns into the property. At this time, I spent half a day with a spade shovel and buried the fence a couple inches into the ground. I found that the signal was a bit less, so I took advantage of the signal strength dial and turned it up and tested it again. It took a bit of trial and error, but I got it dialed in pretty good. This has been an absolutely fantastic device for the dogs. They can go outside and run around like a dog should be able to do! Now I just have to figure out how to stop my Dachshund from digging up critters around my AC unit, LOL. I think I am going to build a decorative fence around my unit for this. Quick summary: Fast delivery Good instructions solid design Customizable for you needs Fantastic product!Kinger
I purchased this system about three years ago. It worked great for my GSD for about two months.. then he learned he could run through it.. and did so on a regular basis. If you have smaller dogs.. would highly recommend this fence system.. for bigger dogs… Not so much. Oh and i recently acquired a Caucaision Ovcharcta… she is now 8 months old and goes through it like it wasn't there. For me it was a waste of money. I also upgraded the burial wire to the max available… still runs through it. Out of options.Voodoo
I have two pit bulls and a bull terrier. I bought this in hopes it will keep the dogs in the yard without a physical fence. At first the dogs were very scared to go outside but after a little training and some play time in the yard they have learned their boundary. Be sure to not adjust the width control while the dogs are wearing the collar they may get an unexpected shock. Be sure to read the instructions and then read them again before trying it on the pets. Show them the boundary on level one which is just a vibration and a beep. Then set it to level two which is the lowest shock. Follow the instructions and be patient it took about 2 weeks for our dogs to get adjustedDonnyd123
