When these first came out on QVC my husband and I got it for our puggle dog Butchy. Half pug the daddy Sir Manny and beagle mama Dam: Misty. We got Butch from a reputable breeder in Southeastern Indiana, a lovely farm and happiest place on earth for puppies to run and play. 🙂 Butch got a lot of his Amish mama's traits laid back most of the time but at times ornery full of energy and running after critters mostly squirls that he pulled his ACL jumping off the deck and running after one and had to have his leg in a special cast and had to wear the cone of shame for a few weeks lol. Did he learn his lesson nope lol! Over the years we tried many harnesses, but none would work only but this one. I can't thank you enough for your product how it helped train Butch when old enough to walk with a harness lead to be more calm and more in control and a happy walker instead of tugging and pulling or he would have a tantrum sit and not budge lol. Years pass quickly to be suddanly mid 60s and senior and the harness was used often and is still in good shape after 10+ years and tucked away. My husband and Butch recently passed on 2 years ago a few days from each other of cancer and are together in heaven. Thank you again for putting love and care into your harness. My awesome dog is a firecracker and tends to pull when she goes for a walk. This is the easiest leash I have ever used. It does not choke her; it is designed to go across her chest not her throat. My dog is a yorkie mix, 11 pounds. Based on his measurements I ordered a small harness, however, while the neck strap was the right size, the chest strap was too tight. He must be right at 18” where this harness hits on his rib cage. I returned it for the medium. This one the is too loose and cannot be tightened enough to be comfortable. The chest piece is pretty bulky and sags between his legs, making walking uncomfortable. His frame is definitely better suited for the small size. It’s a shame there isn’t a little bit of overlap in the length of the straps as I really liked the features of this harness and it is good quality. Unfortunately I can’t return the harness because I removed the tags before realizing the larger size wouldn’t work.
I previously bought, The Everything Harness Water-Resistant, Splatter Design, Which I love! I also have the matching Fanny Pack! I was searching a ton of sites looking for an Orange Hunting Harness, not realizing that Canada Pooch had the harness in the Mesh Series! It is perfect for my 11 month Boston Terrier Mix. I especially love the fact that you don’t have to put these harnesses over their heads. Neck clips and side belly clips make it so easy to get on and adjust. I had been looking for a soft harness for our adopted senior English Cocker Spaniel, something that would give her totally freedom in her shoulders and not mat her lovely fur. Favorite things its super soft, flexible, washable, fits comfortably, stylish, does not mat her fur, not a step in harness, and allows her totally room to zoom with her shoulders. Cons it runs a tad bit small my lass is on the more petite side of English Cocker spaniels, at about 27 pounds I got her a medium and when adjusted it fits her quiet comfortably but if you Cocker was any larger say 30-35 lbs I would definitely get a large harness. I love the back leash clip haven't used the front clip as she is a lady on walks. That being said this is not super heavy duty so if you have a really strong puller I don't know if would hold up for a long time but my lass is gentle so I expect it to hold up very well. Also bonus its a nice car harness. Super happy with it and would buy another when we adopt a friend for Isabelle.Caroline

I am very particular when it comes to dog 'stuff', especially collars, leashes and harnesses. I purchased this harness to use when my dog does dock diving. I needed a waterproof harness and she is insane about the sport so her training and manners go by the wayside so she pulls like a plow horse! Usually, we get a size large harness for our dog (50lbs, Australian Shepard). However, this large was too big, but would be fine as a normal XL harness. It does not get small/tight enough with the one adjustable point it has. It comes with a d-ring in the front, which is nice to help combat pulling if you’re going that route. It runs large, so keep that in mind if looking at this brand/style.MarisaC

This harnass lasted exactly three minutes. I put it on my dog, adjusted it, and she chewed it for a second and it completely tore. The company acknowledges that it can not withstand even a quick nip from your dog. Ridiculously poor quality. Their answer is for you to spend another 12.99 for a warranty to get another harnass which will do the same thing. Awful product that is expensive. Dismissive and unethical customer service. There are many other good options for harnesses out there. Save your money and aggravation .Kerri R
I really like the product. The two connection points give me more control over my reactive dog. A few months after purchase I noticed some of the nylon was unraveling near one of the box stitches. I contacted the company and provided pictures and they replaced it right away. Great product and great service.
Just know that this isn’t a miracle product that will completely stop your dog from pulling. It’s not a replacement for training. YOU as the owner have to teach your dog proper leash manners. But if you want more control, or you have a reactive dog, I definitely recommend this.Rachel Cormier
This has been a major breakthrough with my crazy pulling dog! We have tried several other collars as well as a harness that had more of a collar and only attached to the leash on the back.
