I purchased this originally for some additional run space to my chicken coop, which it works great! Super easy set up. However, I do not recommend this for a dog. My 10 week old puppy climbed right up and over this in about 10 seconds. I have a huge backyard and a new tiny pup who will not get very big. This product worked so well for me that I just ordered a second set to expand the yard and make it permanent and keep the pup within boundaries that we can observe and maintain. The panels go together extremely easy. My only very minor complaint is that the gate latches tend to stick until you look at them close and see what has to be aligned to make the work easy. This looks to be a very good and well made product and the 18 panel set ships in a 62 lb box so I just had the UPS guy drop it on the porch and opened it right there. It is exactly what I expected and is perfect for my dogs. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is, every time I try to adjust the panel that has the gate in it, the gate comes off in my hand. My sight isn't what it used to be and hitting those little holes to reattach the gate has become annoying. We used this product as an indoor dog pen for a litter of 5 in a very large concrete-floored room. We bought enough "pieces" to be able to create a big space (see photos). Initially put whelping box right in pen, then moved it out. Lots of room for pups and mama to play, for sleeping and play area and "bathroom" area. The "connectors" between pieces were hard to put in at first but once I got the hang of it — a breeze. They're designed to stick into the ground outside. For inside, we needed some things to keep the pen "stable." We nailed a few large staples holding the pen wire into a wooden wall in some places, and tied the pen to a heavy object (exercise bike). That worked well. The pen is a good height to keep in med/large dog pups. Mama dog could jump over to enter, or enter through gate (she generally didn't like to jump the whole wall, and we wanted something that didn't require us to open it but that she could come and go from — an old ironing board on its side was a good height to keep pups in, but let mama in more easily). Easy to assemble and disassemble — but make sure you have it "right side in" vs "inside out" when you start. Well-packaged for arrival — safely packaged, but not more waste than necessary. Now that pups are grown, I will use the "pieces" outside to fence in parts of garden.
I used these to make a pen inside the house to keep the dog on the wood floor while we aren't home. They work great, and they look night. They are a good height, too. We can step over them if we want to quickly get in there while the gate is closed. But the gates are really nice. I was worried that I'd walk into it in the dark and break my neck. So, I put a string of Christmas lights on a dimmer (dimmest setting) along the top of the fence. Works perfectly and makes a good night light. It comes with rods that hold the sections together, and the rods are long enough to stick down into the ground. Since I put this in my house, I cut off the rods so they would hold the sections together, but the rod doesn't reach the floor.
Even though I didnt give this product a perfect 5 stars score, I am so pleased with this fence! We just used it for two camping trips and it worked perfectly under our RV awning. We have small dogs that are not prone to jumping so opted for the two foot height. We bought the 16 panel set and plan to buy 8 more panels.Sixteen panels is enough room for dogs, dog beds, 4 chairs and two small tables. Our dogs prefer to be close to us when camping, so we make sure to have enough fencing to fit all of us and our stuff.Pros: – Well made, easy storage, easy and quick to put together, handy doors for easy entering/exiting.- Does not block our view and allows our dogs to enjoy camping as much as we do.- The panels can be shaped in many different ways, not just round or square. We put them behind stairs of entrance door to our RV and under our awning. The two feet option does very well to keep pets from going under RV.Cons:- The panels that have the door, the hinge part removes on door and can be taken completely out while panel is still attached to rest of fence. Not sure the reason for this, but to us its troublesome, as the door easily comes off when unpacking or setting up the panels.- The fence is metal, which makes it sturdy, but also makes it heavy. With camping, its all about the weight you are pulling. Maybe a future heavy duty plastic option?- The fence being metal, we are also not sure if there will be future rust issues. Weve only had the fence for a month and its made well, but you never know with metal and camping in the elements.- The panels are held to eachother by long stake poles that can or not be pushed into the ground. This system works quite well, but is a bit cumbersome when setting up.Having said all of that – still super pleased with this fence and the cons are minor and should not deter anyone from getting this.Note: We didnt see an optional carry case, so we ordered a heavy duty canvas carry bag meant for a tri-fold foam twinXL bed. It works great, with room to spare. (Cost $28.00)

This works great for our bunny to have some space to roam in the backyard. Overall pretty sturdy construction, 1-2 of the tack welds that hold the fence to the frame was broken, but it didnt affect it. The door hinges just hook in and hang, theyre slightly angled but 1 of the 2 was little loose. The setup was easy, the long pins went right into the offset hinges no issue. Its got a nice black paint coating so well see how long it lasts in the 100 degree weather. Overall great containment pen for small animals.

I love everything about this dog pen, except that one of the panels was missing the upper hinge. I did not want the hassle and wastefulness of returning the entire large and heavy item. I tried to see if I could just get a single replacement panel, but I don't know how to do that. I guess I will just keep it and only use 7 of the panels *Sigh* (If anyone can get a single panel replacement – please let me know!) I have used this to host puppy playdates over 2 years. Cannot be happier with purchase. My front yard is not completely fenced; There was a need to fence off, but not permanently as we use front yard for other purposes. Fences are flexible, can be set up in any figures as needed. Once I figure out where to put fences, it takes 10 mins to set up, 10 mins to take down. I initially bought 2 sets, and neighbors and friends praised, and we had so many puppy visitors. That led me to buy 1 more set so the playpen could be bigger. Despite I have 3x sets, once taken down, they store nicely in small tight space on the side of house. Each set comes with 1 panel with a door. Since I have 3x sets, I have 3x panels with door. I set up door fences on three sides of yard for convenience. Summer days, we had playpen every evening. Throughout year, we hosted playpen for every possible occasions; puppy birthday, anniversary, holidays, new puppy debut… We initially worried that some dogs might jump out and run away, but that never happened. Dogs are capable, but wanted to stay inside for fun. We actually had dogs jump in. If you need to just hold puppies around 1 – 3 months, you could buy 1 set. But, if you are planning any meaningful puppy playdate, you will need minimum 2 sets, most likely 3or 4. I've never owned this pen but 24" is just too short. I have a mini and I know he cld clear it in one try. 40" wld be fantastic! I wld buy two and hook them together to make it 32 panels and 40" high. This has advantages and disadvantages. I like it overall but hate that each piece is something you have to place and secure. I do not like the way the gates fasten, think that is a horrible design. I do like that fact that you can decrease or add panels as needed. I also like that it is a thicker metal.Hacim

Easy to assemble and the perfect height. Can be used inside or out. I'm using it inside with 6 panels and it is so much better than crating your dog. There is plenty of room for a dog bed with the 6 panels. My Golden Retriever puppy is now 16 weeks old and has been using the enclosure since she was 9 weeks. She is very content to go inside when we leave the house and at bedtime. Although I have protective pads inside the kennel she has never gone to the bathroom in it.
I have bought a total of five of these fences and will be buying two more in the spring. They are super easy to assemble and quick to remove, durable & long-lasting. I live in Northern New York "snow country" and have had the fence up so far from August through January & it has lasted through our extreme weather. Great for keeping my two 17 and 22 lbs. terriers safe. The gate is very small, but with the pull of a pin we can remove one section if we need to carry bigger items in. I wish this company offered panels with normal gates to add to the existing fence. I'd buy that!
We're installing extensive new garden beds and borders with the help of two rambunctious dogs, one of which is an escape artist. We bought three sets of this this fencing, and it's been great! Once a garden section is established, we can move the fence to start the next one.It looks quite nice for a temporary fence!We had enough to do a small section as a second barrier at our regular garden gate. It's extra security to keep our puppy from dashing out. Once he's better mannered, that section will be removed.I wouldn't, however, rely on this to contain large or aggressive dogs.It also won't keep smaller bunnies out of your garden.For us, this product was ideal.

I bought this fencing for my 6 lb papillon. He just loves it! We were pleased with the quality and how stable it was. We were missing the stakes from one box but as soon as I contacted the seller he shipped them and I had them in 2 days.i ordered 32 panels but may end up ordering 16 more to expand his area at some point but he is enjoying the space.
Charlies mix schnauzer mix. I first ordered 32 panels it came in 2 boxes and each box 16 panels with 2 gates each for a total 4 gates. Thirty two was not large enough so I ordered another 16 with yup 2 more gates for total of 6 gates. The gates are of poor design and the metal prongs that hold the door on to fence have started to rust ?? Had to buy extra garden spikes for added support. As you can see in the video Charlie can get in out easy and has plenty of room to run around as well get tired out. Beats walking for 1/2 an hour at a time.
As a renter, this works beautifully to provide an enclosure for my dog in the unfenced back yard. Bought 2 sets to give her PLENTY of room. Breaks down & sets up easily to move for mowing. My dog is thrilled to no longer require a leash for her trips outside.Left out one gate section & brought the two ends to each side of the steps. The product photos show curved-in valleys between the panels and the gate door and the "pins" featured holding the panels together in the product photo are shown high enough that they close off these valleys. In reality the included pins are much shorter in height and therefore leave these areas unblocked and EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, it's also worth noting that these pins are very thin and flexible. Our small 4lb dog's paw came down into this valley area and got wedged down between the panels where it narrows, this pen has a flawed design that allows this to happen very easily, trapping the paw, and it caused the dog to shriek in pain and instantly release her bowels. After several intense minutes trying to free her wedged paw with the dog screaming in pain, she limped for the next few hours and it was a pure miracle that no bones were broken with the amount of pulling she was doing and the flex happening in the panels back and forth as she tried to free herself. Even if the pins were long enough to block the valley between the panels, the ones around the doors still remain dangerous. Save you and your pet's sanity and AVOID THIS AT ALL COST, this pen. Look for one that has squared off corners so the top edge of the panels are flush to one another.CApup
